I thought the Walgreens pharmacy was bad... is this location closing?? They constantly have empty aisles and the pharmacy is horribly mismanaged. They have sloppily written signs saying to expect longer waits due to staffing issues. These have been up for a long time. Today, another sloppy sign saying the pharmacy is CLOSED for today due to UNFORESEEN CIRCUMSTANCES. Either shut down completely or get new management. read more

Used to be a good store. Not sure WHAT is with it now, but they are ALWAYS out of EVERYTHING. Since covid, they have no stock and they keep telling us "Oh, we should be getting deliveries soon". This place use to be descent but I would say the past three years it's gone downhill. The store service is ok, but never seems stocked. The pharmacy, is always busy always a line not enough people to service you. They tell you you have 12 days to pick up your prescription you go in, but it's not ready anymore because they put it back on the shelf even though it hasn't been 12 days. I've had my prescription Incorrectly and was taking a two times amount that I should have for about a week before I really noticed side effects and went back in and confirmed that they filled it incorrectly. It's one of the closest pharmacy to my place. Opted for this due to that convenience factor. Bit must say one of the most user friendly pharmacies I have been to. Never had to wait for a long time to pick up or consultation. Pharmacists are very friendly. No attitude problems like some of the other chains. There were a few issues with prescription once and it should have corrected by doctor's office. but they helped to initiate the request and received my medicine within a few hours time. Really poor customer service. Went in to get passport photos taken. Had to hunt someone down and when I found someone she said "can't do it, the camera they sent me doesn't work." No apologies. No "hey I'm sorry, I wish I could help, but our camera is broken." Just blame shifted and walked away. This wasn't even some teenager minimum wager. I left a good review last month because I've noticed several employees go above and beyond the last 3 of the 12 months I was there. But I had to leave. Same company, but different store where I hear the service is much, much better! I am to fragile for this crazy shit. I was out of one medication for 2 months. When I called after it not being filled, I couldn't reach people either. That DID start answering phones several.months aftet I had been there but the long lines and closed drive through went on for too long. They seemed to start getting some pieces back together but like others have mentioned, customers eventually give up. We all have are final straw. When they are out of 2 of my medications 1/3 of the time it aids up. I will say it again, they have some caring people that work there but humans can only service so many people and some of the local pharmacies are a MESS! I can't usually blame employees although some at my Bartells have been rude. It is usually a reflection of work environment. read more

This place really fell in the pit Before last month you didn't have big issues. A occasional wait a day for a special prescription or a insurance issue but now!!!!! My prescription was sent in Friday, after 5 visits to pick up my prescription I'm now sitting here on Monday afternoon and you guessed it ! Wow. Now that they have been bought out by Rite Aid it seems like the customer service has completely gone downhill in the last couple of weeks. I called yesterday to check on a prescription. I was put on hold for 10 minutes and hung up on. Called again and it rang for 10 minutes without answering. Today I just called and was on hold for 15 minutes. I'm on hold again now for another 10 minutes. I had a prescription sent in yesterday that this Bartell's somehow lost. This location consistently loses any prescription that is called into them. I'm not sure if they aren't checking their voicemails or what. They also consistently take over 24 hours to refill a prescription, and don't notify me if something is out of stock. I'm moving to another pharmacy because I can't trust them anymore to not lose my prescriptions and fill them in a timely manner. read more

I Love this store. This store is convenient for me to walk to. And periodically they have a coupon for $10 off of 40 or $10 off of 50 which is very nice. The store has everything you need! Worst pharmacy ever. The last two scripts could not be filled because the techs entered the wrong slinfo and insurance wouldn't cover until they realized the mistake. Took over a day to correct. Terrible pharmacy, terrible customer service. I badly need my medication, but I've had a Covid exposure and obviously don't want to go inside. I called and tried to have a polite conversation to solve the issue. The pharmacist said I should've gotten a text message to have the medication delivered. I did not. The pharmacist said to have someone outside of my household pick it up. I cannot as I am not from this area and have NO ONE. The response? "Well you can't come through the drive through. This has to be the most worthless pharmacy in the area. Every time we go it's a hassle. You wait in long lines while people complain that their prescriptions aren't getting filled or their order was messed up, only to find after a 30 minute wait that the same thing happened to you. We have been trying to pickup our infant son's prescription for three days after they told us it was ready and it is never available once we get there. Told yesterday it would be available today and after two separate trips today... still nothing! read more

My rite aid is closing. Needed to find a new pharmacy. I'm on a pain contact for chronic pain obviously. Asked if they could transfer my prescription over to them. They did. They transferred the wrong prescription. It was not the one that my doctor had called in. They did not seem concerned. A week later I was having a total shoulder replacement and my orthopedist called in more pain meds for me, since the directions would be different I am very open about my pain condition. The pharmacist refused to fill it even though the directions had changed. I called my doctor and requested that he call the pharmacist. Pharmacist still refused to fill the prescription and now I will be looking for another pharmacy two days before my surgery. read more

Pharmacy is ridiculously slow. I usually spend no less than 20 minutes in line (inside or outside) waiting to pick up prescriptions. They also say they're ready (via an automated phone call) and you get there, still not ready. I have never seen such inefficiency in a pharmacy. I'll likely be transferring all mine and my husbands prescriptions down to Walgreens down the street-they have historically been faster. Seriously disappointing that after 5+ years and so many bad reviews and complaints, they can't get it together. read more

I thought that I was the only person who had an issue with this pharmacy!!! When I was pregnant with my daughter, I took my prescription to this pharmacy and the pharmacist messed up on my dosage (the pharmacist (who was also pregnant I might add, instructed me to take double the dose!!!)). Good thing I remembered what my dr told me to take and after confirming with the dr, I went back to the pharmacy to let them know that they messed up. The pharmacist apologized and told me, "oh sorry...I remember. You came close to closing time and I was in a hurry to leave." Can I vote zero stars? Because even giving this shit location one star feels generous. We used to love this place before it was bought out and restaffed by Rite Aid. My wife had surgery today, was released by 1:30pm and here I am at 6:20pm and they haven't even filled it. You'd think they'd prioritize outpatient customers who need vital medication post surgery, but hey what do I know. Looking for a new pharmacy. I hope this place goes out of business. I am so disappointed in my neighborhood Bartells. This is the closest drive-thru pharmacy to my house. With a family of five, that means they have to totally screw up over and over to lose my business. And that is exactly what they do. The bulk of my complaints are due to the actual pharmacy. They have got to be the slowest pharmacy in Snohomish County at filling medications. I've learned over the past few years that if my urgent care phones in my prescription, you know, an Rx I need quickly...hence the descriptive name URGENT ...that I might as well treat myself to a lunch out and some shopping because it'll be at least 4 hours before they even look at the Rx. And four hours later when I do roll through the drive-thru, I will wait an average of 20 min as they hurriedly try to process my order that they haven't touched for the past 4 hours. In addition to being inefficient, their staff is lacking professionalism. On one occasion, I decided to go inside to fill my prescription hoping for a better experience. While standing in line I heard two female employees gossiping about another female employee. They made no attempt to keep their voices down as the store was bustling with customers. When I made it up to the counter, the young guy tried to make small talk with the older gentleman ahead of me. His opening line was "Have you heard about the plastic bag ban?". Not reading the non-verbal cues the customer was giving, he continued "Yeah, I'm so glad. Plastic bags are nasty." Again the customer was silent. The current proposal is quite controversial right now and is probably not the best way to initiate small talk. Stick to just asking the customer how they're doing and leave your politics out of it. The store itself is bright and well lit. I can easily find what I need on their shelves and the staff working the check out lines are always friendly and polite. I was especially excited when I saw that they were carrying my favorite face serum "Hey Honey Good Morning Serum". I had previously only been able to purchase online, so having it stocked at my local pharmacy was a happy surprise. However, when I went in a few weeks later to purchase again, I had to ask where it went. It was no longer on the end cap I had found it on in a previous shopping trip. The store clerk took me over to a locked cabinet where my beloved face serum was stored with all the cigarettes. Ewww. I understand they felt the need to put the product in locked cabinet presumably due to theft risk, but to store fancy skin care products with nasty cancer sticks, is just dumb. So like many other Yelpers, I am taking my business elsewhere. read more

We have been going here almost 10 years. Normally very friendly and enjoyable experiences. Our prescriptions are here as well. Today my CHILD was harassed repeatedly by another customer right at the check out. The manager and employee did absolutely nothing except watch it happen. We will no longer shop here and are stopping all business at this location. A dark man came in with his hood up and began talking to the cashier like he knew her. The conversation was not going good and the manager came over he was over 6ft tall and husky. He told the guy to quit harassing his employee we left . Kudos to this fine young man sticking up for his female employee. I believe if he hadn't it could have escalated. This manager had dark hair and black rimmed glasses. Good to have a Man at the store especially at night. He deserves much respect and is an asset to BARTELL DRUG! THANK YOU. read more

I am honestly shocked by the poor ratings by some of the previous customers. I have been using this pharmacy for five years and have been very pleased, over-all. First the drawbacks: 1. As others have said, the drive through can be extremely slow. I honestly think it is just because of the shear volume of orders they handle vs. the size of their facility. That being said, they never mess up my order and the pharmacy staff has always been friendly. I just plan accordingly and go in to pickup refills at slower times. 2. They are not connected to the computer system that one of my doctors uses. So, for that particular order, I use a different pharmacy. Every time something goes wrong with that order, I am reminded of why I love Bartell's. Now, why I love them: 1. Customer service. They have extremely helpful staff, who have gone out of their way to special order specialty food items, help with printing photos, locate items in the store and so forth. I never feel like just another face. 2. The store actually has things I want to buy. I usually dread going to chain drug stores. They feel extremely impersonal and just stock the basics like you would find at a Walmart (gross). At risk of sounding like a commercial, I feel like Bartell's "gets me". They carry a ton of local and specialty items that PNW people love, such as Market Spice tea, Fisher scones, Funko toys and Lund's Swedish pancake mix. I can see by so many of the other recent reviews that I'm not alone in what I'm about to say. This Bartell's has taken a rocket sled down to a very deep garbage pit of incompetence and bad customer service. Until recently, this used to be one of the best pharmacies I've ever used. I hesitate to even call it a pharmacy now. I requested two prescription refills using their website. They were both supposed to be filled by Friday (10/01). By Sunday (10/03) I still hadn't received a text or voice-mail to let me know the prescriptions were ready for pickup. So, I went to the website to see what the status was. One of the prescriptions had been ready since Friday (I was never notified), but the second prescription was no longer even in my list of prescriptions on the website! After seeing this I called the pharmacy and spoke with "Steven". Steven said that they DID still have my prescription in their system with two refills remaining but couldn't explain why it had disappeared from the website. He said it would be ready Monday (10/04). Monday I get a voice-mail telling me my prescriptions are ready. At 8:00pm I hop in the car, head for Bartell's, pull up to the drive-thru window...AND IT'S CLOSED!!! Even though there a sign in the window stating that it's open until 9:00pm, and there's nothing about it closing early on the new soulless recording they have that's replaced the friendly voice of the Bartell's Guy. I could see people being waited on through the blinds in the window, so I drove my car around to the front, parked, and went inside. There was a pharmacist and one girl emptying garbage. I rang their bell and she eventually came over to see what I wanted. After giving her my name I find out that my second prescription hadn't even been started (this girl couldn't even pronounce either medication)! So, I sat down to wait. There was a woman there who said she'd already been there 40 minutes and it was her FOURTH trip trying to get her prescriptions. She and I had both been going to this location for 12 years and could remember how great it was...we agreed that we were both done with this place as of this experience. I wondered if having Rite-Aid purchase Bartell's would turn into a dumpster fire...I guess I have my answer. Oh, and "Ashley H. - Business Owner", don't bother responding with yet another one of your stock trite answers and promises that won't be fulfilled. Nothing is getting any better and I don't think the majority of your existing customers (for now) expect it to. read more

Pharmacy is slower than glacial snow melt. Line in drive through and inside, gentleman working the counter didn't acknowledge any of us, slowly put bags away, came over to me and said "yes?" This is after me standing at the counter for 10. And really. Your sick, blow your nose right in front of me- use the damn hand sanitizer before touching my meds! I switched my prescriptions over to this Bartell's from the wonderful one on 180th and BEH. I love Bartell's, but I'm thinking it's time to move my prescriptions elsewhere. read more

Since living in the area for four years, I have made many trips to this Bartells. I must say that the staff here is amazing, they truly are available to answer questions, provide assistance and overall just a great attitude and guest service. The pharmacy staff is always available to answer OTC questions and I appreciate that when you do ask a question, the pharmacist on duty as always answered it professionally, in easy to understand terms and does not make you feel dumb for asking. They truly come across as they want to make sure your question is fully answered and that you understand what is being said. This is great as I know that this takes away from their time filling orders, yet they do not see the results as a filled prescription in their department, so thank you Bartells. The cashiers are great as well, They are friendly, do not pressure you to buy un needed products and take care in bagging items. I highly recommend this Bartells as a great place to shop and to find wonderful items. On my last visit, I also noticed they sell items with the name/logos of area high schools, what a great way to show community spirit! read more

Save yourself the headache. This pharmacy is the worst. They should not be in charge of medically necessary medications. Takes days for a refill and it's almost impossible to get anyone on the phone. Pharmacy was closed for the holiday but then was closed again because they couldn't get a pharmacist in due to bad weather. So if you're someone who had been trying for days before the holiday to get medication refilled and thought oh at least they'll be open the day after Christmas, nope! out of luck! They have been so so bad and I kept hoping they would get it together but I should've switched at the first sign of trouble and saved myself the added stress. I had ordered a prescription a week in advance, plenty of time to get it so that I would not run out. I went in two days later and was told that it was not ready and had to be ordered. I received a text that my prescription was ready and went in. It was not even the prescription that I had ordered. I was told again that my prescription was not in. (after waiting a half an hour in line) After pressuring the employee, they told me to come back in and hour and it would be ready. I came back in and my prescription was ready. The attitude of indifference by the employees was unbelievable, they do not care about customer service at all. I am a very laid back guy and for me to get to the point of writing a bad review takes a lot. Hopefully they get their act together or they are going to lose a lot of customers. I asked the girl why it wasn't ringing or if they turned off the Ringer and she didn't know but acknowledged the phone's never ring. Just wanted to say how thankful I have been with the pharmacy at this location. I am a chronic patient that requires many refills monthly to address my conditions. They have always been reliable in filling my prescriptions. Whether it's from the app, to walking in, or thru the drive up... always ready when told and always friendly and professional. Wanted to personally thank Tammy and May from this location. They have always been so sweet to me and treat me like family. Very grateful for this and truly appreciate them very much!
