Just wanted to say how thankful I have been with the pharmacy at this location. I am a chronic patient that requires many refills monthly to address my conditions. They have always been reliable in filling my prescriptions. Whether it's from the app, to walking in, or thru the drive up... always ready when told and always friendly and professional. Wanted to personally thank Tammy and May from this location. They have always been so sweet to me and treat me like family. Very grateful for this and truly appreciate them very much! Terrible customer service at the Pharmacy and ALWAYS a long wait for prescriptions in the drive thru and inside of the store. Often there is one person waiting on the drive thru window and the counter inside. Cars in a line out to the road. Complaints to management fall on deaf ears! Taking my business elsewhere! read more

Bartells pharmacy is the worst here. I was in drive through and the only customer including the indoor Line and they had 3 people working. They prob spent 20 min with my prescription. Connor Was the pharmacy tech and he was so slow. He kept mumbling that I can barely hear him. He took forever bagging my prescription and then he ended up ripping the bag and I had no more patience for him to rebag my items. And he told me I had to pay $77 for my prescription Even though I had insurance and didn't know why. So the whole Experience was annoying and SLOW. read more

Ever since Rite Aid took them over, customer service went straight into the toilet. Today their computer says I cannot have the script I just ran out of for another 2 weeks. Not my mistake, and not one the original Bartell's EVER made. I'll be finding a new pharmacy tomorrow. read more

I have been going to this Bartell Drugs since it open. It now terrible since Rite Aid bought them in June. I have been waiting for prescription to be fill 5 to 7 days. You can't call them because they don't answer the phone. They say they are working on it but it has been 6 months & still getting worse with Pharmacy. Their cashiers are so slowwww I can feel myself aging as I wait for my turn. For their drive-in pharmacy you actually have to push a ringer button to be served. They also have a sign that asking you to turn off your car to be served (quite strange). The two stars are for the fact that unlike other drugstore chains, their store is clean and uncluttered. Long wait times, poor customer service, unapologetically inefficient and inconvenient. Unless you absolutely need a drive through, then you'd be better served by any otter pharmacy in the area. It's not Bartells. It's this particular Bartells. I switched to the one in Snohomish and I can walk in with a new prescription and get it filled in 10 minutes with a smile and a consult. And they have a drive through if you need or want that. read more

I've been coming to this pharmacy since I was a kid (about 15 years) and I've been at my breaking point with them. Yeah they're slow, they take hours and hours to get your medications ready, it's super understaffed, I'm used to it. This year, I was put on a medication (a life or death med that I need to take everyday) and every time I go to pick it up the clerk has to remind me how "expensive" it is. It's honestly so rude and not their place to tell me what I can and can't afford. It comes off as "hey by the way, I don't think you can afford this". Like thanks for the "friendly" reminder that my medication that I desperately need to take is expensive. Every month when I go in, a different clerk feels the need to say it to me. Yes I know my medication is an upwards of $100 and no I don't have a choice but to take it. I really hope this message reaches some kind of supervisor, because it is EXTREMELY inappropriate to be saying this to people. The girl working today was kind of nasty about it. It's not their place to tell me what is and is not pricey and if I could lower the price, I would. But I literally don't have an option. I'm tired of being told this and I'm going to have a word with the next person who feels the need to say this to me. Please have a team meeting and tell your staff that it is not okay to be telling this to people. read more

Just moved to the area and was really excited to switch my prescriptions from a Walgreens to a local company. What a mistake!!! My husband picked up a prescription from a gal named May who was terribly rude and possessed no friendly customer service bone in her body. She seemed irritated that they didn't have his insurance information and irritated for having to wait for him to give it to her. Now today, two weeks later I had to deal with snotty May. I waited at the drive through window...no hello, no thank you. When I gave her my insurance card she rudely stated... I don't need your card... when I apologized she said in her condescending voice... well you don't have to apologize I was just telling you! Total rude lady. Who needs that kind of attitude after you've worked all day! She clearly hates people and hates her job... she was complaining about me to someone cause I could read her lips through the glass. Bartells better figure it out with this gal. I will never go back to that pharmacy!!!! read more

I would give the pharmacy and store management a 0 star rating if i could. Horrible service since rite aid took over. Delayed Rx even it put in early. I purposely pickup my Rx 2 days after the due date because it is never ready when they tell you it is. Misrouted Rx ...has happened to me numerous occasions. Happened to me today and knew it would so i tried call to ensure that the Rx would be there but no answer on the phone. No call back after i left a message and no answer even when DR office called. Rx was partially filled but other half was filled at bartells in seattle. Poor poor attitude when i asked to complain to a manager. This is not a new thing rite aid/bartells. You assured customers that service would not change and it has gotten worse. This Bartells service used to be top notch before the purchase and that was in the middle of the pandemic. I've only used this pharmacy 2 times and had issues both times. They don't check for prescriptions that are called in from the day before and take forever to fill the order once they find them. It's the second time I've encountered the same situation. Calling ahead doesn't seem to work. Prescriptions are never filled at the time they say they will be ready. I will not use this pharmacy again. I will drive further to go to a pharmacy that operates better. read more

This pharmacy is the worst. I moved to the Seattle Hill area over a year ago and transferred my business from another area Bartells. Not only is the wait time unreasonable but half of the time they never refill my prescriptions after they've been called in. It's never fun standing in line for 15+ minutes, only to be told I have to wait another 30+ minutes for them to fill it or come back another day. The counter staff seems friendly enough but they are woefully understaffed. The pharmacists on the other hand need a severe attitude check. They blame the customer for their own mistakes. The pharmacy is the worst!! They seem annoyed with your business. I have been trying to get a simple and common antibiotic filled since Saturday. They closed early Saturday so I couldn't get it. I go in Sunday and they only had three days worth. I called today to see if the rest had come in yet and he tells me he doesn't know, won't even know until three o'clock. So maybe I could try then. What? Not a drop of politeness. It's ridiculous. I'm done! I will take my prescriptions elsewhere and tell all my other friends and family to do the same. SHAME ON YOU BARTELL DRUGS SEATTLE HILL ROAD!!!Bartell Drugs I was promised a 20 minute wait for my daughter's prescription, instead, I spent 1 1/2 hours waiting during my lunch hour with no explanation. I talked to the Pharmacy Manager who said that she didn't know what was going on and that she was only there for Inventory Control...REALLY!!! Poor customer service and received crap treatment. The Pharmacist slammed the door so loud because she wasn't smart enough to figure out if we needed to order the medicine or take the one over the counter!!! DAH! Over the counter, I told her. This Bartell Drug Store sucks. I went in early one Saturday morning to buy a few products, total cost around $16. I paid via debit card and I needed to break a $20. The cashier refused to break my $20!! After I just spent money in their store. She claimed she was low on cash at 10:30am (an hour and a half after they opened on a Saturday). So I had to go buy a roll of Certs in order to get my $20 broke down. Absolutely insane. I'll never step foot in Bartell Drugs and we used to be regular customers. read more

Pharmacy: terrible service in regards to having prescription ready. Try ordering over the phone, didn't get request . Stop in 2 hours after dr sends request, not ready for pick up. Stop in and told it will be ready in 10 -15 min, come back 15 min later - guess what isn't ready for pick up? Will likely be trying the safeway pharmacy next. This pharmacy is a joke. read more

I really don't understand all of the complaints here about this Bartell's pharmacy. Frankly, those complaining have obviously never been to any of the retched Walgreen's in Washington, or they're just entitled little whiners that believe they're special. There is nothing wrong with the service here and we have always had nothing but the best service from their staff...all of them. May, who has received some flack in several of these comments, is one of the most personable people around and always goes out of her way to be helpful and cheerful. She remembers just about everyone she interacts with and usually greets customers by name. The rest of the staff at this Bartell's is great as well. First and foremost, this is not a review of the entire location, just the pharmacy. This review is related to their pharmacy. I dread going here to pick up my Rx. I use the drive through and I ALWAYS feel as though I am a pest to the pharmacy techs who come to the window. I recently went by to pick up a prescription and I was the only one waiting that I could see inside or out. They have a sign on the window that says to ring the buzzer ONCE even if you think somebody has seen you. I am not sure what makes them hate the drive through so much but I can tell you from my experience, even if you make DIRECT eye contact with a tech right near the window, they will completely ignore you until you hit the button. I am not a lab rat, I am a human. Humans know when other humans acknowledge them without a button or even a word. This is a very basic function. Their sign is an excuse and I believe a hateful way to express their superiority over people using the drive through. I recently went through the drive through, pushed the button and waited. There was no line, inside or out. I waited patiently for at least 5 minutes until the tech asked for my information. She had the same attitude as always like I was bothering her by being there.... She went around and looked for my Rx for at least another 5 min before coming back and cheerfully telling me that my Rx was at another location. She did not offer to transfer my Rx there and I didn't think to ask for this as I don't do pharmacy for a living. 10 minutes might not seem like long, but try sitting in your car waiting for 10 minutes for ANYTHING and feel how long it really is. It is just disappointing that a local company with a new location can have such bad attitudes coming from their techs. Sadly, I will continue to go here for my Rx until something really terrible happens which I have a feeling will happen. 10 years ago I couldn't find a Bartell Drugs with people who didn't have a great attitude and great local spirit. What happened here? about a day after I wrote this review, I had a great experience at this location. Julie was very quick and spotted me not only by the button on the wall but just by eye contact. I initially posted a 1 star review but I am raising it to 2 solely on Julie. If Bartell Drugs only employed copies of Julie, they would reign as king of the drug stores in my book. read more

If you need everything except diapers and baby food you can come here. This is the way it was last time I checked. I emailed the store twice and no one has contacted me. I had have to go to the other drugstore down the road when I am in a hurry for baby food or diapers and is late and I just want to buy it fast. Few months ago I was there to buy oil and I saw the oatmeal was on special when I checked the expiration date was expired for a month. When I went to the cashier , he said " I will check". Today I needed to buy toothpaste and I went there at 6pm. They were closed! I know is a holiday but all the other stores are open like a regular business day. So I had to go again to the other drugstore down the road and it was open until 10 pm. read more

If I could give them 0 star I would this place I'm so pissed off i took in 2 VHS tapes to have them turned into DVDS 6 weeks I go I had gone in to check 3 different times to see if they were back from YesVideo well guess what they were never sent out they found them in the back omg is this place run by wolves is there no manager or communication no one saw them and said hey what are these in 6 weeks I go to this bartell at least twice a week will never set foot in there again unbelievable and not even an I'm sorry nothing 000 stars to this store read more

This is the worst pharmacy I have ever used. I make multiple trips because my prescription isn't ready when they say it is going to be. I was told the other day my prescription wasn't in stock and it would be at the pharmacy by 2pm the next day. I get off at 4 and finally made it by 6. I was then told that they are just now filling it and it would be 15 min I walked away because I couldn't wait. I had somewhere to be. The bf stayed behind to pay for things and was told that ppl in the store take first priority. I'm now back and have waited in line for 20 min for one tech to help a big line of ppl and a very needy senior. I find this super annoying and unprofessional in all ways. read more
