When I mentioned it to the owner, she said that she drank milk earlier that morning¯\_(ツ)_/¯. In my head I'm like, "did you NOT notice that it was spoiled????" I continue to shop at their Poughkeepsie store, but I'm glad to have a Hyde Park option again. And it took a Val-Pak coupon in the mail to learn they were here. In fact, the owner (a very likable gentleman with whom I had an enjoyable conversation) said I was the second person today to make a first visit based on Val-Pak. The current coupon, BTW, is for either 25% off a single item, or $5 off a purchase of $20. They carry quite a few products from local farms and businesses, and what better way to be greeted when walking into the store than a display of Harney & Sons teas. My timing was a little off for the lunchtime offerings, which include sandwiches and soups. They are very willing to special-order, if you want something specific, and when I asked about local farms/businesses for which they do not currently carry products, the owner said he would check with these businesses to see about carrying their products.
