This location is so clean and pristine. We ordered on the self service kiosk, while the staff was working away on another order. I went with the Matcha Milk Cap, unsweetened with extra ice. The matcha was so rich and I loved the decadent foamy matcha milk cap. Think cold foam. No boba or poppin' jelly for me. Plenty of seating inside, shared parking and clean restroom for customers. I'm so excited to see more Asian owned businesses open up in the area - food definitely brings people together. Since they put up their 'coming soon' sign, all my friends and coworkers have been anxiously waiting for them to open. Coming from NYC, Kung Fu Tea is like, comfort tea. It was one of the first chains to settle and really help bubble tea expand in the states. As a chain, they are reliable because they maintain a certain quality/line of drinks. This Kung Fu Tea is spotless - part combination of them being brand new, part kudos to their team for keeping it clean. The seating is spaced out so you won't feel crowded. I can see meeting a couple of friends here and hanging out over some bubble tea. The drinks are as expected from KFT - I don't know if they share recipes across chains, but their drinks are consistent and delicious. I always go for half sugar, less ice when the option is available. I will say, my favorite item here is anything matcha foam - which is crazy because I hated foam drinks before. They have an app, it's not a great app, but it's an app lol. If you join the rewards program, they sometimes have really great promotions. I like to order ahead so I can pick up my drink and go. They're still new, and don't seem like they have a huge staff yet, or they are still training. I think the service speed will improve over time. But since I mostly order ahead in app, this doesn't usually affect me, and it's definitely not worth docking any stars for. read more

You know what's crazy, 87 degrees upstate on October 5, 2025. Thankfully, there was a Kung Fu Tea nearby that served up an ice-cold wintermelon green tea. Inside the café, there was plenty of seating, clean tables and workspace, and a soothing mix of ambient music and lighting. It's a perfect spot to unwind or grab a refreshing drink. I've been a loyal customer of this chain for many years, so I was incredibly excited when a location finally opened locally. The owners were very welcoming, and accommodating. Their tea is absolutely delicious. As the extensive menu shows, they offer a wide variety of teas and seemingly endless topping selections. I've been drinking kung fu tea for years from different locations all over the states. I went in to the wappingers location today and received a lukewarm strawberry milk tea and even tho I paid extra to add Oreo they barely added any in the drink... it's like they blew a few crumbs in my drink. The drink was overbearingly sweet and not in a good way. The drink tasted like honey? Will not be back, for almost $7 a drink they better learn how to make these drinks right. read more

i ordered my 2 drinks at 5:00 and i didn't receive them until 5:28... there was only one other customer in here before me.. the guy making the drinks had to consistently go in the back and get stuff & half the stuff i ordered they didn't even have. same with the lady in front of me. this is the second time this has happened and i do not plan on coming back. read more
