DO NOT COME HERE!!!!! if only could give this place negative stars. They replaced the phone screen on an iPhone 7+ and the phone was still under warranty when it started ghost typing and opening apps on its own. After a lot of research this ONLY happens after A bad screen repair which was done by them. I took the phone in at 2 pm today because Nick told me I needed to have it in before 3 pm. I get there at 2:15 and he's closed for lunch until almost 3 PM. I bring the phone in and he was very rude initially but I let it go. Came back for my phone 45 mins later only to see that The same scratch was still on the screen that was there before the "replacement". I came back inside to ask him if the screen was replaced and he assured me that it was, even after I pointed out the scratch still being there and knowing for A fact he didn't touch it. He says he put A "used screen" on it that was better than the old one. This is after waiting for A new screen to ship to them. So I asked to see the old screen and he shows A screen that was clearly not mine. (I know by the scratch) after everything admits that he didn't replace the screen because the phone wasn't acting up while it was in there. He slapped on A tempered glass screen protector and said if the phone still messes up he will ACTUALLY replace the screen. What A lousy business to lie about having the screen replaced while he sat there and didn't do A single thing. I'm disgusted I will NOT be bringing it back after reading all of these reviews and this whole situation is inexcusable. read more

Stay away from this place I dropped my iPhone off to get the screen replaced was told it would be done at 1:15 I showed up to pick it up and was told it would be 1 more minute and finally at 1:45 he came out to tell me that he had turned my screen blue and had to try a different screen. I came back at 2:30 and he said it takes 45 mins to put a screen on and to come back... picked the phone up around 4 he had put the wrong color screen on my phone without ever checking that it was okay with me. And then said my finger print ID was broken it was not broken when I dropped the phone off! I see that they have another review where they broke the ID print so seems like it's a common occurrence. read more

Call it bad luck, or whatever you want but I went from never having cracked my phone screen to cracking it twice in a matter of two weeks. Lucky for me, I found Re-Phone. Re-Phone gave me a reasonable price the first time my screen cracked and had my phone fixed in 45 minutes. The next day my phone started pressing random buttons so I brought it back to Re-Phone and they were able to fix it for me free of charge (they have a 30 day warranty if there is any malfunctions after they fix a phone). Two weeks later and another dose of bad luck my phone screen cracks again. Right away I knew I had to go Re-Phone. The staff greeted me "You again, what can we do to help?" I explained that I had cracked my screen again and they offered to fix it for me a discounted rate and include a free screen protector in addition!!!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you to all the staff at Re-Phone! read more

Worst. Repair Place. Ever. They've changed their name "to WeFix Electronics) and moved store fronts recently and now I know why. I took in my old tablet for a charger port replacement. They promised two weeks to a month wait. Two months later, I FINALLY got my device back, and it was SPIDERWEBBED. They kept trying to gaslight me and say it was already cracked when I brought it. BULL. There was NO crack and I saw him still fiddling with the case as I walked in. No apology, no refund. Liars, scammers, thieves, and rude to boot. They even yelled at me when I came in *during business hours when the door was unlocked* because they didn't have their $h1t together yet. I should never have given them a chance after that. No consistent hours, deceitful, rude, basically scammers with a store front. Avoid at ALL COSTS. Go literally ANYWHERE else, even Staples is better than this. I've never had a good experience here. My phone screen was fuzzy the day I got it back, and since about a month later it started to fall out, not all the way but enough to where I have to snap it back in place. Unprofessional, rude, just no, don't waste your time here. read more

I had a great experience here. Got there before they opened; however, door was unlocked and I went in. The guy (sorry, forgot name) helped me right away. Told me to come back at 12:10, I checked in at 11:30 and my phone was done. I needed my screen replaced on a 5s. Also was able to ask some questions about the new iPhone and questions were answered. I should have turned around and walked right out when I saw the sign on their counter saying "No swearing please", but unfortunately I did not. Obviously they have had many unhappy customers, now add me to this growing list. My screen was broken on my iPhone 5S, so they replaced it. Immediately, I noticed that the touch screen was jumpy and wasn't working correctly. Their "tech" initially said that it was behaving erratically because I didn't have enough available storage on my phone. What a load of BS. I actually had to ask for the manager twice because I couldn't believe what the tech was telling me. I told them that was ridiculous, so they took it to the back again and came back out, saying that the connection was loose. Duh. Obviously they don't test their work when their done. So I went home, and later noticed that it still was behaving erratically. So I took it back a second time, and they again replaced the screen. I tested it in the shop, and it was working fine. However, a couple of weeks later I noticed that my finger print scanner was not working at all, and came to find out that it wasn't even there!!!! It had been removed!!! Just to put it into perspective, the screen and home button are not even related to each other, and are two completely different components. So they actually took out my original home button/finger print scanner, and replaced it with another one that didn't have the fingerprint scanner. Funny, because it was working fine, and I didn't even come in for that reason. I've also heard personally from three local retailers and multiple individuals that I am not the only one that has had this experience. It seems that they swap parts from other phones to fix other phones, and use crappy third-party non-OEM components, which is a double bad idea. Never going there again for sure and dealing with those jokers. It honestly wasn't even worth my time to back a third time and deal with them, I'd rather be without the fingerprint scanner then go back and listen to their multiple reasons why it could not be working. Save yourself the headache, time, and gas that you would spend with these guys and go to the iPhone repair shop on Tuolumne Road or Staples, and get true and reliable professional service. Got my phone back more broke then when i gave it back. Didn't even want to take it back for fear something else might get broken

My son broke his Iphone 6 phones' screen and after Staples told me it was unfixable we took it to Re-Phone (WeFix Electronics). They said they could fix it and quoted a $60 price. We watched as the tech fixed it, explaining each step as he worked. He was fast, efficient and knowledgeable. The phone worked perfectly when he gave it back. read more

I returned to tell them he took my phone in the back fooled around with it for 20 min and told me that they would have to fix it another time so means I'd have to make a third trip when I got home I discovered that the screen now with split meaning that the glass was loose from them trying to pry it up the second time . my advice is don't go here they got my money and I got a screwed-up phone now I had to buy a new phone and there's nothing wrong with the functionality of the phone before it was just a small little chip in the glass .135.00 plus a new note 4 phone 300.00 so in the end it cost me $435 you have to ask yourself is it really worth it for the all the aggravation and the loss of time and money I wouldn't let these guys repair my toilet read more

I went in to buy a phone for my sons birthday today. Only 2 other customers in the store so I wait. Chatty Kathy #1 finally finishes after whining about possibly losing some contacts then chatty Kathy #2 has come in looking for a part she ordered, she doesn't remember exactly when she ordered it, so the owner proceeds to the back to look on his computer. Rather than let the man work in peace she continues to yap her jaws (fine whatever) and asks if he has another certain customer with her same last name, he proceeds to confirm that he does in fact have this person as a customer and they both proceed to discuss some legal trouble the mans son has been in recently (insert mouth drop). Uh I'm thinking 1. that this is not at all professional and 2. isn't there laws against this (I know there are in medicine). Anyway 10+ minutes and the woman is still yapping and has moved on to bashing the president and her ex husband so I turn around and walk out. Took my phone in a few months ago to have battery and screen replaced, all was fine and dandy and price was reasonable.. until after the 30 days warranty was up my home screen button was sliding back into my screen and was completely dislodged . When i took it back in they informed me that the battery had come loose and pushed the home button out of place. When I asked how something like that could have happened , the guy told me it was because the screws in the battery hadn't been screwed in right. Obviously I don't know how to take my iPhone apart to mess with the battery so in conclusion their tech must have messed up on it. They wanted to charge me more to have it fixed, I did let them know this was their error so they knocked off maybe 20 bucks (this happened a while ago so I don't remember exact prices) but still charged me to fix it which is blasphemy considering it was their mistake in the first place. Not only that but they later sold a iPhone to my boyfriend and didn't tell him the password on it. I definitely won't go back here again. read more

Repairing phones can be intimidating but it can actually be very simple. I wanted to replace my broken galaxy active s5 screen with an extra screen I had and all I needed to do so was a little bit of double sided specialty tape made for smartphones. I called Re Phones and asked if they would sell me 10 inches worth. Apparently they have a 'Do not sell replacement parts policy'. I would have been more than willing to pay extra as it's not a common item. Now I'll have to buy it online at $5 for 3 meters. Thanks for helping out Re Phones. Buyer beware I ordered an oem replacement screen for a Samsung phone and was told it would take 3 weeks to get it. When I called to check on it I was told they had an aftermarket screen and the oem screen was much more money. After several conversations I had to agree to pay an addition $50.00 to get what I was originally promised. They are very disorganized and not very truthful about what happened they are going to do for you. I would suggest you take you phone issues somewhere that has reputable people that do what they say they are going to do and that actually care about their customers. I expect to see a vacant store from here in the not to distant future read more

Thier service okay, most of the guys are nice but the manager talks down to people and uses bluster to override people. Not super impressed. It'd be great if the manager(not a total jerk,just not a good front man; he humiliates people as a defect of personality ) would listen and not take an attitude. I enjoy kind and knowledgeable people not brash know-it-alls. They will get most simple jobs done well, so they have that going for them. They have some interesting used phones at decent prices too. I recommend them for most simple and straightforward repairs. read more
