Terrible terrible. We just bought a class C rv from them. Brand new by the way. They left it in winterized mode. Never telling us it was or what to do to get it in working order. Walk thru was useless. Personnel was condescending and left out 90% of what we actually needed to know. Being first time RVers, these people have left us out in the cold. Having to figure everything out ourselves. Plus, the RV itself is back in the shop due to defective sensors on the tank system. It's brand new!!! So disappointed. Buyer beware. They act all great until you sign on the dotted line. Then you're left holding the bag - finding out all sorts of issues that should have been addressed in the pre-inspection they "said" they did. Buyer beware! I wouldn't send my worst enemy here. We purchased a used travel trailer last summer. The salesgirl was nice enough, but didn't seem to know a lot about the RVs on the lot. Since it was used, we paid an extra $1,000 for a full inspection and were told it would be fully cleaned and detailed prior to pick up. We requested a copy of the inspection report (that we paid extra for), which they said they'd "send to us". When we got home it was clear they hadn't cleaned it - dead bugs on the beds, spilled food in the fridge, etc. They never did send an inspection report, and they certainly didn't clean it, so I'm 99% sure they just stole $1K from us. We used the camper one time over the summer at a campground a few miles from our house, but it pretty much didn't leave our property. We then had it winterized at RCD. In the spring, we were planning a cross-country trip, so we took it in for (another) full inspection. More money spent. We were told then that we needed a new leaf spring for an extra $700, on top of the outrageous cost of new tires and a $1,200 inspection (which they DID provide a report for this time). Given the timing of our trip, we didn't have any option other than pay for it, but I'm certain that had they actually done the inspection when we bought it, they would have found that bad leaf spring then. There is no way it was broken with the little amount we used it. The terrible saga continues...we picked up the camper after a FULL inspection. About 300 miles into our trip while we were traveling across 70 in Indiana, the entire side wall came loose and peeled back on itself. The damn thing barely made it out of Ohio before it fell apart. Needless to say, insurance totaled it, so it is now in a scrap yard or an auction somewhere and we are out way too much money. Trying to get ahold of the service manager or the finance manager is also a joke - we had to call and email multiple times to get any sort of response from either of them. In fact, the service manager never did call us back as we had some questions about the inspection report. It says the seals were checked...insurance said nope, the seals were bad and should have been replaced and that's what caused the side panel to rip off. So, thanks, RCD, for the worst experience in history. We have now purchased a new RV and definitely did not buy it from you. read more

This dealership is absolutely terrible. I purchased a brand new camper in 2020 and being an 18 year old no one approached me I had to find a salesman after walking myself around for an hour. Now I have tried to get service done they've had it for a month every time I have had to be the one to call them to get updates and they tried to tell me I missed my appointment when I didn't I just gave the keys to someone else and the information never got passed into the system. They're trying to charge me $100 for five minutes of work and no parts needed I know this because I fixed my door the first time and they're saying it took 30 minutes and it's gonna cost $100 you're telling me a literal mechanic for rvs took longer than a 20 something year old girl ? NO and not to mention they're RUDE AS HELL read more

We bought a brand new 5th wheel camper in August.... the fridge quit working in October. We bought a warranty because we told the salesman, we have permanent campsite and we'd have no way of getting it to Delaware if it needed work done, we had to get it delivered when we bought it, and he's like then this is what you need, they'll come to you. Turns out that he failed to mention that the warranty he sold us doesn't start until August 2024 and we would still have to take it to Delaware for the first year. Our other option was to have it fixed by a Forest River certified repair tech, pay for it ourselves and get reimbursed by Forest River but the closest tech is in Granville, won't come to Mansfield and said hates dealing wirh Forest River... so that means we have to get the fridge fixed ourselves or buy a new one.. If you go to RCD in Delaware make sure you can take your camper in for warranty work. Don't listen to Eric when he says you'll have nothing to worry about because we most definitely do! read more

We bought a used Hilo camper from them. Salesman was very friendly. Told us that there was a little water damage on one wall, which we could see. But he also told us the leak from the roof was fixed. Even said it rained heavily there that morning and everything was dry. That being said, the first time we took it out during a rain storm, it leaked in multiple places. When we got it home we found out the water damage was so bad that it would no longer open all the way correctly. Now we have to remove walls to replace, mold to clean up, a roof to leakproof and hopefully that will fix the issue with it not going up correctly. This will be an expensive, time consuming project. We were charged way too much for a camper with this much damage. We had to cancel camping trips that we already had scheduled this summer as well since the camper is not usable now. read more

If you are in the market for an RV Please read. In July of 2018 I Purchased a Springdale 3030BHS from RCD RV in Sunbury, Ohio. I took the trailer back about 8 months later to get everything fixed. I got some trim pieces that were falling off fixed. Then 4 months later (2 weeks after our one year anniversary) our Battery went out which they said would not be covered under warranty. After several calls and emails and speaking to the manager of service they finally agreed to replace the battery. The next day we took a trip locally and our Water Pump, Electric main jack, and stabilizer jack all went out. RCD RV refused to do anything because it was out of warranty. After those costly repairs we took our next trip 9/2/19 we incurred heavy rainfall and there was 4 inches of water in our back bedroom. After the terrible experience at RCD RV we took it to Colerain RV of Sunbury where they determined that our roof on all four sides of the trailer had slits from poor quality material being used. Keystone claims to have a 12 year roof warranty. We submitted a warranty claim and it was denied stating it was because I hit something. (the Burdon of proof is on me they said) I called there "Customer Relations" center and spoke to a Genisis over the phone on 11/14/19 at 4pm and she stated that I was denied and she could clearly tell that by the photo submitted that I had hit something. I tried to explain that someone at Colerain rv made a mistake and sent pictures of another unit instead of mine. (which they did) and that the damage in the pictures was not my trailer. She stated she knows and that it is still denied. (very short and rudely) At this point I could tell she was not going to be of any further help so I asked to escalate the call. She put me on a 12 minute hold and then told me no managers are available and that she could not have them give me a call back. I am now paying over $10,000 for a complete replacement 1 year old roof. I called RCD 3/27/21 for an Atwood water heater circuit board. I was told around $135 by Randy in parts. I drove from Lancaster to the Pataskala location to get the part and then Randy asks how did I quote you, I told him in the 130 some range. He said I cannot sell it to you for that price and said he would have to get $170 for it. I said you quoted in the 130's and all he could say was sorry as he walked away.... I have bought a camper there, I've had service work done there (warranty and customer pay) and body work. I tried to spend my money locally and get treated like this. Responded to add to buy my RV and get free estimate. Filled out their on-line form with details on my RV. Of course nothing provided in response other then 'call us'. Received several calls from 'Tammy', one of their reps. I called and answered more questions on my RV. She then said 'how much do you want for it?'. I said 'as much as I can get'....who wouldn't? She said needed a number so her Manager could decide if interested. Really???? Your Ad said free estimate of value. When I said I was getting several estimates she said her Manager 'doesn't have time for that'. Really! That is the worst response possible! In other words, 'if you give us an undervalued price, we're interested'. Such business practices tell me I would NEVER deal with them including purchasing a new RV. What a Sham business. read more

Had my slideout repaired and several things were damaged in the process. I brought it to the service center guy I was working with and he told me to send pics. Whoever repaired my camper messed up my cabinet door where my trash can is. When he opened the slideout one of my cabinet doors up top must have opened in transit and was tore off. No big deal if I am notified of it and it is repaired adequately but none if that happened. The door was crudely patched and rehung crooked where you can actually see in the cabinet when the door is closed. Whoever worked on my camper left trash and tools in my camper as well. They opened my closet door for some reason but never latched it back so when I drove it home from the shop it messed my closet door tracks up. I have been nothing but friendly with the staff after all this and I am still being ignored and my problems have not been resolved. I would not recommend this place to anyone. read more

A man's word on a sale means nothing to these people and will back out by passing you around, then afterwards won't answer or return calls to resolve the issues. I'm not sure where the communication fell through because they won't even return our calls after the matter. I have never been so disappointed in service of a business!! A couple of gentlemen were very happy to help me at first, until what I expect was the manager came out and told them not to help me that they don't have time. They have a 1 only because there isn't an option for 0. Spent 18 k on used travel trailer. We have no idea what we're doing with RV Camping and made that VERY clear that we did only tent camping. We bought this as we are between homes. Selling our home and planned on living in rv on friends property until we find new house. We have two dogs so this option seemed better than extended stay hotel. Since we're new they recommended for 500 bucks the walk through that goes over everything and had a 30 day warranty which means they go over the rv with fine tooth comb. Today we tried to fill up the tank with fresh water and was a major fail. Water came out the vent. The gray water level said it was full. Really? We were told the tanks were empty as they went through it supposedly. Curiosity got the better of me. I opened up the black water and yep, black water came pouring out. They never drained the tanks. So much for service. We are disgusted with this outfit. I will be calling the gm tomorrow and will give an update. You would think at a very minimum they would have drained tanks and made sure you could fill tanks. They took our money and lied about servicing a used RV. God only knows what else is not going to work read more

Jay was my salesman and he was nice and helpful, Eric was great to work with and provided a lot of useful info, and the guy that did the walk thru was really nice and helpful. The one that ruined the whole experience was Josh in service. Extremely rude and unwilling to work with me. The camper was scheduled IN ADVANCE for RCD to deliver to a campground. When it got there, I couldn't stay in it because it had not been dewinterized so I had to get a hotel for the night. I called to get it done and he refused to send someone out (only 10 miles and all interstate) and told me to either do it myself or get the campground manager to do it for me. I have bought about 8 campers and this has by far been the worst experience ever. The manager did ask why I had to get a hotel when I had no water and the answer is that it was 28 degrees last night and the last thing I would want to do is get out of a warm bed, get dressed and walk to the bathhouse to go to the restroom. read more

We really liked the place as far as the friendly staff in the main sales area and the abundance of RVs and parts on the lot, but then the time came when we had to have our RV serviced. Thank goodness for insurance, as it cost over $13k, but it took a few months for the repairs over the winter and then we found out that most of the repairs were bad. They have 1 quality technician there that we trust and he helped repair as many items as he could but that should not have been needed. No quality control there. During the time of repairs, there were plenty of eMails I sent that went unanswered, which was extremely frustrating. The RV had to go back in again for a previously undiscovered leak along with repairs from the first round that could not get taken care of remotely. Again insurance came through, as it was another $5k of work. After the RV came back, I discovered a small section of my slide that was pushed out. Wasn't there before. I brought this up to the service manager, sending pictures with it, and was basically ignored. I finally gave up, frustrated with the lack of interest on their part. Learned my lesson the hard way and I will never go back even if it is to pick something small up. There is another place right down the road that seems to get good reviews. read more

Drove 2 hours to look at a motorhome, not set on buying, just a road trip and look. They paged for a motorhome specialist to meet us in lot, never came around to us. When headed back to store, a couple walked in, was greeted by a specialist and walked right by us and out to the lot. We walked right to our car and left. Friends of ours told us of their good experience of purchasing their coach 2 years ago from here. Things changed I guess. read more

Long story..was promised with sale a free canvas replacement on a leaky canvas on one side of camper to match good side...so we purchased 2011 hybred camper....when we went back ....side to be replaced ...horribly fitted canvas..holes and snaps drilled into sides (other side velcro)...open spots for rain to get in....Windows wavy and buckled ...it was so obvious the canvas they ordered for it did not fit but they used it anyways and forced it to fit...even drilling holes with snaps that will come out..the salesman said we are going to like it and when it was opened and presented to us even he was silent...but...with our frustration and them ruining a camper ...they did nothing to make it right...this was our second time with them to fix it right...no care from them...our only hope is legal action now and a camper that has been ruined on one side and loss resale value..do not get sucked in by their kind introduction and eagerness to care..once you've bought it ...fake promises!!! Went shopping here for a new travel trailer. Worked with salesman Noah. He was very helpful for us. I had some concerns about the auto levelers on the back behind the tires on the cougar travel trailer. I don't really think it would have made it into my driveway. They only way to test it was to buy it then see if it would go in the driveway. That wasn't going work. We were looking at a 2017 Cougar 32FKB. The bunk house was not going to work for us either. It only had one bunk and 2 like mini sleeping cub couch's on the floor, that I didn't really want. I wanted a ladder added, no problem, a tri fold sofa in the bunkhouse in place of the cub couches and theater seats in the main area, but those 2 wasn't something they could do. They gave an awesome counter for the 2 things they couldn't do. After chewing on that counter and the idea the jacks won't clear the driveway and not really liking that floorplan that much, we opted to go with a different brand at different dealer. The cougar was about $7,000 more also and I didn't want my payment that high. They gave a good counter, had great enthusiasm, and tried to make the sale. I truly appreciate the efforts and would recommend them if your looking for a brand they sell. Good place, friendly staff and very energetic folks. read more
