I was referred to RBFlooring by a company that did some damage to my hardwood floor. Not only did it take multiple phone calls, and over a week to make a proposal visit. When I did have an at 3 pm, it was a no-show. When I called, they were trying to reach the guy in the field. No call back. He didn't answer the phone multiple times. When I called the company that had referred me to 445, they said that they got an email from RB at 4 saying they missed my appointment. How do they stay in business? They scheduled an appointment for a home visit at noon to take a look at my flooring project for estimate. I explained I will be at work and will need to drive back to meet him and I expect him to be on time. On the appointment day no one showed up and no one called to tell me he is not coming. About six years ago we had RB Flooring install "factory prepared" maple wood flooring by Mirage in half of our home through the recommendation of a contractor. Last month we had them finish the house using the same product and you cannot tell where the "old" floors end and "new" floor begins. The wood looks fantastic and wears wonderfully.... This family-owned business is professional and very pleasant to deal with at all levels. They are exceptionally neat workers and quick to respond to any concern. They cheerfully replaced a few boards that we felt were not attractive. They also refinished our old oak kitchen floors and they look better than new. I would highly recommend their services. They are honest, hard working and do a wonderful job. We did not hesitate to give them a key to our house so they could refinish our kitchen floor while we were on vacation. They were super careful and did not get any dust in the rest of the house. They make a point to do a nice clean-up of the job-site every day. They are very busy and popular now, so it is best to call at least a few weeks before the start of the job. read more

I found RB flooring online and contacted them to get pricing and availability for Mirage wood flooring. They were extremely helpful, prompt and professional! Our plan was to add new hardwood to a couple of our rooms, and refinish existing hardwood in the remaining part of our house. Although we had already hired a contractor at that point, so we couldn't get RB to do the actual installation, they did come out to measure the rooms, gauge the quality of our existing floor and provide suggestions on which stains would best match the Mirage color we had picked and answer numerous questions we had. They quoted a very reasonable price for the material, delivered our order ahead of schedule and kept us updated every step of the way. I contacted RB Flooring for a refinish project. He was polite and professional when I first spoke to him. I waited 4-5 weeks for him to get back to me on fitting our job into the schedule and a final price. No calls and emails were returned. I finally was able to connect with Francisco and this was a very different man. He proposed to send Ricky out to our home for an estimate and when I asked who Ricky was (how would I know?) he got offended and told me they didn't need my business. I spent 1 year looking for flooring at several national retailers, and then I found RB Flooring, by chance through Yelp as it was physically close to my work. This is a family owned and operated business, with brothers as owners and nephews working with them as part of a greater installation crew. Who doesn't love to support a wonderful family owned business with TOP NOTCH customer service and reasonable prices? Finding the right material and color of flooring was EXTREMELY important to me. The look I wanted for our townhouse was modern, minimal grain, medium brown (like you'd see in a Paris apartment - and we'd seen in our last home in Paris.) SELECTION: The brothers encouraged me to bring each LARGE SIZED ( 2 ft by 3 ft) sample home and take time to consider what was right for us in our home. They offered to drop off and pickup samples directly from our home through the long decision making process. We started by insisting on "solid hardwood," for which we ran through every sample imaginable. After not finding just that right color in "solid hardwood," we moved to engineered floor. At then we found the perfect color!! Mirage Sonora Maple floors. PRICE: We were lucky enough that RB Flooring is a Mirage retailer and Mirage was offering a rebate, which shaved a couple hundred dollars (bonus) off the reasonable price. And RB Flooring was kind enough to honor the installation price they'd quoted almost 1 year prior! INSTALLATION: Installation time was quoted to be approx. 3 days. Imagine our delight when it took 1.5! Installation on stairs, with white risers, and floors was absolutely perfect! They even agreed to install our choice of new custom baseboards. When we weren't completely satisfied with 2 small transition pieces to tile (the color from the manufacturer, not the install) they reordered and revisited until we were happy with the perfect match. FOLLOW-UP: I'm not kidding when I say that each person that comes into our townhouse says, wow these floors are beautiful, the color is perfect when they visit. I'm not one to say "hey look at our new floors," but am one to graciously say yes you're right we had great hardwood floors installed by RB Flooring and we do love them. CLEANING: The color is absolutely perfect to hide dirt. We don't wear shoes in the house, which means it's no big deal if we don't even sweep the floors in the 2-weeks between housekeeper visits. I feel like I need to give 2 bad reviews for my initial experience with this company - ONE for cancelling my estimate 1-hr prior to scheduled time with no real good reason & TWO for calling to let me know 1-hr after my REscheduled appointment that they will not be coming with no reason offered! I truly hope that the estimator was NOT the owner and that this gets to the owner - since this is definitely BAD BAD for business particularly in this economy. Beyond the expected, surpasses even the unexpected. Luis and his crew from RB Flooring were subcontractors for my renovation. Though the other subs were not any that I would seek out again, RB Flooring was one that I noted their name, got their cards and ensured that everyone I knew was told about the fantastic job they had done. From perfect matching of the wood and color with existing floors to matching picture framing patterns of the corners - their work was impressive. Luis realized that removing small patch of tile in the entry to refinish the original hardwood floors would . He also ensured that the picture framing pattern from the bay window in the front was matched to the newly added bay window. Finally, in the true artistry his firm exemplifies, the tacky metal contractor-grade heat ducts provided by the HVAC sub, were pulled out and lovely wooden ducts that matched the floor were substituted. A thoroughly professional, awe-inspiring job. Now my only dilemma is to get lots of rugs to protect the floors or keep them bare but get rid of the dogs, furniture and all shoes to show them off. read more

RB Flooring refinished hardwood floors in three rooms for us. Our whole experience was amazing. They started and finished on the days they quoted at the beginning, and arrived every morning on the dot. The dust management was extremely good-- we didn't find extra dust anywhere in the house. They offered to replace all our baseboards to match the new color of the floors, for a reasonable price, which looks great. They were able to give us a greener, low-VOC water-based finish, which was important to us. And the finished floors look wonderful and natural. Without reservation, I recommend RB Flooring. This is a group of dedicated people who take pride in and responsibility for their work. When we moved back into our newly remodeled home we found our bamboo floors in the master bedroom were cupped. They hadn't cupped in the other rooms and RB Flooring had done everything correctly in laying them. I worked with Louie for over three months testing moisture in the floors and trying to isolate the cause. We never did find the definite source of the problem but that didn't stop them from fixing the problem. They could have argued that they weren't responsible for the problem and had no obligation to fix it but they didn't. All I ever heard was "We stand by our work." On Christmas Eve, Louie and company came and moved the furniture out of the room for me. Over the holidays, they sanded down the high places and refinished and sealed the floors to match the other rooms. When they were done, they moved all the furniture back in. These guys are pros. i can't give enough praise to this company and their professional staff. I had to cut out part of my wood floor to insert a hearth. This was done by another company. The "other company" had good reviews on Yelp so I thought they would do a decent job. What should have taken 3 days, took about 2 weeks. They kept coming back to try and fix what they had done before and the end result was terrible. I got a hold of Louie from RB Flooring. He came out right away and assessed the job the other guy did. He was here the following day, sanded everything down again and then matched my stain and finish. Only took 3 days. I am so pleased with the job he did. He saved me. I really never expected the floor to look this good. I would highly recommend this floor company to anyone who is meticulous or finicky ( I am) about the final look of their wood floor. read more

I have worked with RB Floors twice and give them the highest review. 8 years ago we moved into our home and took out the old carpet from the original owners. Louie and his team installed gorgeous hardwood floors. This year, we had unfortunate water damage to our kitchen which caused our floors to buckle.
