My Granddaughter the Razzelberry flavor, my wife goes for the coffee flavor, I love chocolate but I always get the Cherry vanilla. With real chunks of Cherry, it can't be beat. Absolutely the BEST ice cream in Pompano Beach. Family owned and great customer service. They have two cases of 100% homemade ice cream, flavored Italian ice, and sugar free options. The best part is the rotating special flavors. My favorite over the years being peppermint oreo, Biscoff cookie, and Heath Bar Crunch. They also carry classic flavors like pralines and cream, cherry vanilla, cookies and cream, mint chip, strawberry, and pistachio. They also offer a plethora of sundaes, espresso drinks (including affogato) and prepackaged ice cream treats. I'm so glad this small business is still open! We have been meaning to try it the past few times we've traveled here, but never made it! We finally did in December 2020 and have no regrets! We got to sample a few before deciding, and here's what our family thought were winners. The 5 and 7 year old got Smurf ice cream (sweet vanilla w rainbow sprinkles) and Razzleberry (soooo delish!) The kid size is plenty for an adult and cost $2.75. This is a great value considering it's at the beach and they make it themselves. I asked for a cup of ice water and they referred me to the bottle water cooler to purchase water. They make shakes and sundaes. It is meter parking on the street or in the parking lot across the street. They have a few tables outside. Inside they have a couple two seater tables and a couple of seats at the counter. "C'mon kids, let's go get some ice cream." I had a fairly peaceful "alone-time" day on Pompano Beach until it was time to pack up the kids. If you're within earshot of the family, you are part of this play or at least have a front row seat..."Ice cream, c'mon, c'mon stop it..." you know how it is trying to get kids to leave a fun place. So I listened to this coaxing from the mother while the dad was set to the task of hoisting up the giant tent-like thing they'd staked into place and meanwhile, the kid had run away, come back and then came crashing down in the sand next to me. "Don't you want some ice cream, dude!?" He looked at me with disgust, screamed, then rolled over and ignored me as he was doing with the parents. What a show! Little did I know that I was in for a no-show: I got off the beach soon after the family left and found that the dish I'd been hoping for (shrimp, scallops and mashed potatoes) wasn't available at the pub and the taco shop was just not striking my fancy that afternoon. So I worked my way down this little strip mall of options and was thinking, "ice cream" and there I found myself at Razzleberry's. And little did I know I'd soon be holding a cone (salted blue corn) that was handmade in Brooklyn and eating the most delicious butter pecan and cherry vanilla ice cream. This cone had come into my hands after at least three of those mini-spoon samples: I remember best the chocolate chip cookie dough because it was "hearty" a word I don't usually use when describing ice cream. Each flavor was delicious though and not too sweet. They tasted fresh and I think this is one of those rare ice cream shops where they could've put any combo of flavors on the cone and I'd have loved it. The value is inarguable. $5.75 gets you two scoops and that Brooklyn cone. If you're there now and reading this, I'm jealous! read more

Pretty reasonable for a place that's almost right on the beach. Get a scoop, settle yourself down and watch the people and waves at Pompano Beach! The service is friendly and swift. Parking is street parking so it may be a wee bit hard to find a good spot on busy weekends. My folks both got the sugar free ice cream and I got the same flavor in the regular version. Honestly none of us could taste the difference between the two so that's awesome for those watching their sugar! But make sure your tummy is not sensitive to sugar free ice cream!
