So my fries tasted a bit stale or overdone, I couldn't tell which but either way that's unacceptable. And the amount of fries they give in an order is rather offensive. I've gone to nearby vegan spots that give you a lot of fries with your order. It's really nothing to give people a decent amount of food. The wings I got were actually decent but they were really chewy and cold on the inside which i'm guessing from the sugar cane they use as the stick for it. I'm pretty disappointed. My son and I found this place by luck. We were greeted by the owner and what a wonderful woman she is. We had two of their signature burgers, and let me tell you that you can feel the love in the food. This small "hole in the wall" place is everything, I love finding places like this anywhere I go. So I'm not vegan but I had the urge to eat vegan for lunch. I saw that the vegan shrimp po boy was very popular and decided to give it a try. I was curious as to what was used and found out that it was a plant based mixture. Visually and texture wise it reminded me of imitation crab. I opted for the vegan ranch on the side. The po boy was very delicious, it had a buttery garlic spread on the toast, which was delicious. The lettuce, tomatoes onions all added a great flavor. The shrimp was breaded and being that this is vegan shrimp I feel like in the breading is where you're going to get most of your flavor. I did believe that the sandwich itself wanted maybe a different sauce and slight amount of salt maybe lemon. This was me wanting more of a shrimp flavor but this is coming from a non vegan person. I also got the strawberry banana smoothie which was very delicious. The owner himself packaged my order and he was such a sweet guy! Pro tip I do recommend ordering in advance for pickup, the place was pretty popular and I had about a 15 min wait for my order. Came here today. I had the strawberry sunshine lemonade and the spicy shrimp poboy and my mother had the hot Buffalo wings and fries. Everything was delicious, well seasoned, topping were fresh, it was packaged well for takeout and the service was friendly and helpful. Ok let's get this party started. Let me first say I ordered the 10 PCs wing with fries. While I do live about 15 minutes away I said I was going to bring them home, but of course not before I sample. Bad idea lol! By the time I made it home I had zero fries and 3 wings. Where do I start? Ok first of all the food was very fresh and hot. Cooked perfectly golden brown and flavorful throughout. The texture had a very close if not the best tooth feel of chicken I have had not lie. Check it out for yourself. The sauces were very flavorful. Not a criticism but a preference I would have liked a little more sauce but being a chef they were perfectly sauced to satisfy the masses. That being said it did not take away from the experience at all. Funny thing the first wing I did not know and ate the sugarcane skewer that acts as the bone, but that Lil sucker was tender not fibrous as sugarcane can be. I've been eating vegan food exclusively for about five years and even I did a double take when I tried their "chicken wings" because it was so convincing-- they even put in roasted yucca root as "bones." Very good Vegan. Wings were actually very good with the sweet BBQ . I have tried my share of vegan wings and these were good. The sliders were excellent. I do mean good. The Pompano Beach smoothie was outstanding and refreshing. So the real kicker was their Shrimp Po Boy which I took with me for later. I have never had a "real " one but this sandwich was delicious.
