Great service, expensive (I think), Great Service! $180 to tow 5.5 miles in town during regular business hours. AAA (love AAA) wouldn't cover. AAA uses Ray's Towing too. Ray's towing was recommended by St. Vincent de Paul auto sales, so I called around for prices, including Ray's. Everyone was about the same, but still $180 for a short daylight tow seemed excessive. They did an excellent job. So call them first, before you get old, grumpy and cheap. I would use Ray's Towing again, and still bitch about the price. They're good. read more

10/06/2026 whoever was answering the phone between 3:45-4pm was very sarcastic, rude, and extremely disrespectful, didn't help me at all or let me finish explaining before cutting me off, once he hung up and i called again and called him out he told me "not to call back". would love the audio recording or to hear a manager. read more

Blew out my new tire and called Ray's. Came in good time. Driver was very polite and patient while I tried to find a place that had my (hard to find) tire. Drove me to thee business and then brought my grocery sacks to me. Great service and reasonable price for the distance. read more

Ray's Towing - Towing Near Me - Eugene, Oregon

My Scion xB wouldn't start and I needed a tow to the mechanic. I called Ray's Towing and we scheduled a pick-up and delivery for the following day. They called me the morning of to let me know that the driver was on his way and when he showed up he also called me. He got my car onto a flatbed towing truck and dropped it off at the mechanic. Everyone from the person who answered the phone to the driver was friendly, polite and knowledgeable. I called a couple of towing services and Ray's Towing was around the same price so it must be the norm. I don't have insurance or roadside assistance to cover the tow so I had to pay out of pocket and I didn't think the price was unreasonable. Definitely recommend! read more

Chris towed my car this morning and did a great job! He explained what was wrong with my tire and was overall super considerate. He even towed me to a second shop when the first one didn't have the right tires in stock. read more

Wonderful service! The driver, Dylan, was so great! He was efficient and professional but was also kind and empathetic. We were a little shook up after hitting a deer, but Rays towing came through for us. The driver could not have been nicer! I was also pleased with how fast the truck came! The driver was careful with my baby (car), so I knew I could trust them. This is a high quality company and they work hand in hand with my insurance company, so I didn't have to do anything. Highly recommend Rays towing! read more

Father's Day, rain pouring down, my car implodes. I call Rays, and he replies we'll be there in 30. Sure enough, he arrives a little early. I tell him what's wrong with my car, he tows car to the dealership. I meet him there, he takes my info, sees that I'm just a little stressed, and says, you go on, I got this. Consummate professional, and an all around nice guy. Thank you for being so kind, on such a horrible day! I highly recommend Rays towing! read more

Ray's Towing - Gamma camera rigging into transport vehicle. Excellent work guys !!!! - Towing Near Me - Eugene, Oregon

Well, this morning around 8:30am, a giant pothole at the Tyinn Street USPS won a battle against my front tire. (RIP tire.) About 5 blocks away, I felt the telltale pull on my steering wheel and knew I needed to call AAA because my tire was flat. I requested a tow and was told to expect a 45-minute wait; but within about 15 minutes, Dan (I think?) from Ray's Towing showed up. He was very kind and friendly and made quite a few jokes. He had my car on the back of the truck and towed to the tire shop very quickly. I rode along to the tire shop and on the drive there, Dan told me that he never expected to drive a tow truck, but his life's work is helping others and he gets to do that every day in this job. This is the second or third time AAA has dispatched Ray's Towing for roadside assistance. Each time, the drivers arrive quickly and are courteous. read more

I have used them unfortunately for my great luck with cars a few times. They have been speedy and great every time. Thank you for another rescue. Drivers are always very friendly and knowledgeable. read more

I waited 2 hours. Then I called and couldn't get anyone to answer after 30 minutes. My friend called and she got through. They said the service guy had tried to call and couldn't find the address. Another hour later a service man came. He was very kind, but he could not help me. I called another company, they came out within 30 minutes, worked out the situation, and it was so wonderful. I was saved. I'm sure they are a fine company but I'm glad they were late. It gave me an opportunity to call the other company that could help me. read more

I was introduced to Ray's Towing through the AAA app. Herman arrived to help me with a dead battery due to storing a car over the summer. He was patient on the phone with me while I sent him my location via text. When Herman arrived, he was able to determine through diagnostic testing that the automatic lights had been left on during the storing of the car as it was determined there was a slow drain on the battery. While running some additional tests, Herman explained to me what he was doing at each step. He also taught me where I could get working key fobs in town (the fob batteries were dead too), along with getting local help in eliminating the error codes showing up on the dash due to the dead battery. I highly recommend Ray's towing for your car battery needs! read more

Absolutely fantastic service! Arrived on time, was friendly and accommodating. Dan was very knowledgeable and kind. Will definitely go back if I am in the area again. read more

Ray's Towing was so helpful, I regret not asking for the gentleman's name that helped me, but I was the teal Toyota Corolla that got help around 9-9:15PM in south Eugene tonight. He was even faster than AAA said he was going to be, and was extremely efficient while just generally being very kind. I appreciate it so much! read more

I was so pleased by the service given. Our car was having a battery problem. It would not start. We called AAA and Ray's was dispatched. Didn't take long to arrive and I could track the driver on my smart phone. Not only did the driver jump start my battery, but he also tested the alternator, checked the oil, checked battery levels, cold cranking amps etc. very courteous and respectful. We felt that his efforts may have kept us from breaking down 10 miles down the road. Thank you for your help! read more

used them a hundred times for my business.... they came over for a lockout and the driver wouldn't open the car so I could pay him as my cards cash and check were inside. won't use them again. read more

We highly recommend Ray's Towing. They were a complete Godsend for us. Our Tesla died in Springfield and we needed to be towed to Portland for service. Dan, the driver was extremely knowledgeable about Teslas and was the only person who knew the nuances of Teslas enough to get us in tow mode from a completely dead battery to get us on a flatbed for the tow. The drive was two hours and he made it very enjoyable. Definitely deserving of more stars than five! Thank you!! read more

Rays towing is the worst towing company in Lane County. They don't care about if you have an appointment to get your car towed or not. I called and it took them 3 hours to get somebody to me to tow my car. The guy who came was totally unprofessional and unhelpful read more

Worst service I have ever gotten. The driver wouldn't take my van to where I wanted which is where I am living. The guy wouldn't even jump my van to see if that would help. I would not recommend service from this company at all if this one guy is on duty. I didn't get his name but it was last night/this morning between 12:30am & 1:30am. I would consider using your company again if I would be guaranteed to not get that guy again. He was extremely rude. read more

They towed my 14,000 pound class C motorhome. The driver, Angel, arrived at the agreed time with the necessary equipment. The tow was uneventful. After arriving at the destination, Angel went above and beyond by making sure the wheels were chocked and wiring up the drive shaft so it wouldn't drag. He also gave me some good advice about towing safety. The price was reasonable for the service. Note that the clock starts when the truck leaves their location. read more

Quailed 15-20min wait time and they were on time!!! Quick and friendly service and if needed again I would ring them up.

Pat was so personable and helpful. I guess fortunately or unfortunately I've had to deal with numerous local tow companies; Rays is the best I've dealt with. Pat made our interaction easy, comfortable, and the price was just a bonus. Damn, I'd pay the tow price just to deal with people like Pat in any situation where customer service is important. Thank you Rays, I'll recommend your business indefinitely until proven otherwise. read more

I called Ray's and they were to my house to tow our Lincoln Nautilus to Kendall Ford Lincoln. The were here in a flash. Car was in our garage, battery dead as a door nail. Jeff did a great job of getting it out. These new dam cars are useless with a completely dead battery. Jeff found the special park release under the steering wheel that took the brake of and put the car in neutral, and we were off and running. Because of the angle coming out of the garage it was a task to maneuver it out. Thanks again Jeff. read more

Rude, poor customer service. $5 a mile to tow, i credibly expensive and unreasonable. Most tow guys in area. No sense of understanding or cared to help and negotiate with customer. Towing an suv for 10 miles quote was $500+. Unbelievable, dont use this service. Price gouger read more

Ray sent out Pat to help us with our battery based on a call they got from AAA when it comes out he says oh you don't need battery service well then that's all I'm signed up for so I'm not going to be able to help you he cancels order and leaves so we make another request through AAA they still send cut out Pat said he doesn't have the right equipment although he knew what needed to be done cuz he had just been here an hour and a half before that I would never ever ever recommend this company to anybody because he left us no option but contacting triple a third time when and he didn't seem to carry just left and that was it read more

I am writing this review to commend the outstanding professional service received from JULIE, who is with Ray's Towing, Eugene, OR. I have owned several cars from over the last 30 years and of course, I had used towing and roadside assistance for more a dozen times in my life. For those of us who have had more than a handful experiences, calling/waiting for towing or roadside assistance has always been a nightmare when dealing with a car breakdown. But, it was not the case with the help of Julie. First, Julie was extremely prompt (she arrived in about 30 minutes and she called again just before arrival to alert us). She was extremely professional (she asked questions in a very organized and professional manner and even explained why asking those questions were necessary in helping her diagnose the problem). She was extremely knowledgeable (she provided and explained all of the possible issues causing the breakdown). She was extremely educational (she explained her diagnosis in a crystal clear context that was easy for any laymen to comprehend). She was extremely hands-on (she meticulously ratified problems in minutes). Overall, I did not see any weaknesses in Julie's service. Of all the strengths she possessed, each and every one of them deserved the highest rating. Not only that, she has an extremely amiable personality. I would give her service an A+++ (A+ being the best). read more

WORST TOWING COMPANY IN LANE COUNTY! Take your business elsewhere! There are too many other options for you to tolerate the rude and unprofessional drivers that this company employs. The company allows their drivers to decide whether they want to complete the service or not. The company DOES NOT CARE if their drivers refuse to complete your service. If they don't like the way you look or talk, they can just decide to drive away, with no consequences from the owners of the company. They are inconsiderate jerks! They don't care that you are already having a bad day (obviously if your in need of a tow), missing work for the appointment with them (they are 2 hours late), have an appointment with the mechanic (which you are now late for because of them), the driver just decided he didn't want my husband to ask him a question, so he just gets back in his truck and drives away! We are AAA members, I called AAA and filed a complaint against this company and had our account noted to NEVER send Ray's Towing for ANY REASON EVER. We will not be doing business with this company again and I suggest you avoid at all costs. AAA contract with LOTS of towing companies, so you are free to choose not to do business with this company and they will comply. Roger's Towing showed up in 15 minutes after I called AAA back - their driver is fantastic! read more
