I called to have a vehicle towed, quickly answered and in less than 25 minutes, the tow truck was here, manned by a very skilled young woman who did the job and got the vehicle off to C&L for service! Terrific service, mannerly, careful and just what you'd want! Eileen W. read more

When I got to the gate to be allowed in to pick up my rig, the person over the speaker was rude and short-tempered . The gentleman in the tow truck that met me at the gate opened it and as I pulled through they sped off, which took as I needed to follow them. Talk about SUPER professional. (That was sarcasm if you didn't pick up on it) That is just a few examples of a handful, but by thumb would cramp before I could give all. 1star was what was available to rate, but more like a -5 read more

Well, it finally happened. In 68 years up until today, I've had to use towing services a great deal in my life and always had an okay to mediocre to really poor experience with the tow companies, either because of low quality equipment or less than friendly employees and at times, both. Enter a new day my friends. Today, I had Alpha Towing pick up my Honda Goldwing and tow it to River Road from West Eugene to sell. Where do I begin; At the beginning. The dispatcher I spoke to, Ashley I think, was so incredibly kind, caring and even sympathic to my reason for needing a tow, that I almost forgot I was scheduling a tow and when I did, she not only thanked me for my business, but conveyed her hope that my day would get better. Folks, never in my 68 years have I ever had such a positive experience when calling for a tow, but there is more. So, scheduled the tow and Ashley said they were a bit busy so it would probably be about an hour and then she asked me if that was alright. Once I picked my jaw up off the floor, I told her yes and thanked her. Then, 30 minutes later I get a call from the tow truck driver saying he was here and ready to help me out. 30 minutes, not an hour. So now, practically being in shock, I go outside to meet the driver and another worker and told them what I needed and was ready to help and they very graciously said I did not need to help them because they did not want me to get hurt and that they had it covered, all the while engaging in pleasant conversation. Well, what an understatement because those two guys, and I wish I could remember their names, maneuvered my extremely heavy motorcycle like it was a toy and very cautiously and professionally, loaded my bike and strapped it down perfectly again, while carrying on with their witty conversation. The tow ended up being delivered to a different location than originally scheduled which was significantly shorter in distance, and they did not flench an inch in recalculating the cost of the tow which saved me $40. When it was time for them to leave I thanked them profusely and off they went. And there I stood, smiling, after having to have a vehicle towed, thinking how incredibly satisfying that experience was from inception to completion. I'm telling you this just as some guy that got a tow, that if you use any other towing company in the Eugene area, then you are probably paying about the same that Alpha charges, but I guarantee you that you are not getting the same high quality equipment and professional service that you would have gotten had you used Alpha. I will never use one of the other towing services in Eugene again because I've been spoiled by Alpha's industry leading service. Thanks again Alpha! read more

I cannot say thank you enough to Alpha Towing for the fast, kind and friendly service I received when dealing with a flat tire on a busy road. Not only did Matt Kelly arrive quickly he made sure I could get parked in a safe spot for him to change out the tire. Matt also went above and beyond by offering to follow me to the nearest place to put more air in the spare tire (which he took the time to do) so that I could get to the tire shop safely. Thank you Matt Kelly & Alpha Towing!!! read more

I had been waiting for 3 hours for different tow company someone recommended. They would not answer their phone so I could find out when they were coming. I decided to call Alpha. I sent them a few pictures. They came out almost immediately and knew how to fix my problem. The other company showed up minutes before and didn't know what to do to help me.... Alpha did! Thank you so much! I highly recommend them with 5 stars. read more

Beyond useless. Called to ask if they could tow a trespassing vehicle off of private property. I got an immediate 'Yes, with 3 days notice, do you want us to send a truck out to give notice'. I said yes, truck came out, and the owner of the vehicles convinced them not to sticker the vehicles. When I called back, talked to the owner, Clay, and asked why, I was told 'we're uncertain about the situation'. When I asked why they didn't call me back or knock on my door to confirm the situation, I got no response. When I told them I'd sign a waiver, they said, "You'd need to get a lawyer to write up some documentation to prove its your property." Even though I told him I already had that documentation. It was clear Clay had made up his mind and wasn't willing to be clear about why. Now if I were the speculating type, I'd say that the drivers that came out knew this guy, as he mentioned he was in the car repair business. But I'm not, so all I have are the facts: Alpha towing said they could do something, then didn't, then failed to follow up with me on why. I called Emerald towing and immediately got what I needed - that I could write my own notice and take a picture of it, sign a waiver, and have the cars towed in 3 days. Clay: A business needs to try very hard to lose my business, and even harder to get a negative review, but you make it seem natural. read more

Super grateful for the help from Alpha towing and our driver Rich. We got stranded towing our trailer home along I5. They were able to send out one truck and helped with suggestions for managing our trailer. We were able to make it all the way home in the same day with trailer in tow. Service was great. Rich was easy going, comforting and supportive. If I needed another tow (hopefully not soon) we would request him. read more

Alpha towing in Eugene, Oregon. I locked my keys in my car recently and called Alpha towing in Eugene, Oregon to come out and unlock my car. It took less than two minutes and they charged me $91.00!!!! $91.00 for two minutes of labor. What do they charge to tow your car across town? I don't mind saying, I was very upset and angry. I've locked my keys in my car previously in Eugene, the charge was $50. I've called towing companies around town and they all charge $50 to $60. I felt like they were literally stealing money from me. Please, do yourself a favor. If you need a tow truck in Eugene, Oregon, call around and compare prices. You will pay much less and get the exact same service. I've learned a lesson- NEVER deal with Alpha towing and recovery again!! read more

Getting towed happens and no one's excited about it. But when you go to pick up your car and the owner (Clayton) is dealing with you is rude spitting chewing tobacco while talking to you, it's just disrespectful. I literally had to call every tow Company in the area to find my vehicle because paperwork was misfiled so the police department didn't know where it was. And all-around was more stressful experience than it ever should have been. I'm just trying to share my honest experience with this company, hopefully they can do better. And to the owner because I know you read all of these reviews I hope you're getting better with your in person customer service. read more

Tire went flat on a very busy road with no shoulder. I'm disabled, but was able to get my yellow lab and myself to a driveway and left my car sitting in the road. Cold and getting dark. Scared. Matthew Kelly from Alpha made it there fast and got my dog and me to safety! He got my car home as well as stayed to fill and put my spare tire on. Advised me about tires, tire store hours and made me feel protected. I really needed that kind of attention at that time. Thank you Matthew! read more

Please beware of this dishonest and sketchy business. The owner, Clayton more than doubled the original price he told me. Apparently the $15,000 dollars of overhead a month he informed me about is too much to be fair to the public. Be sure to document the price because Alpha towing will be quick to deceive you. read more

I am a visitor in Eugene from Nevada and called this company and they sent out a truck ASAP. I locked my keys in my car (Toyota Landcruiser) and they could not open it...they stayed with me the whole time and had me call another group who could make a key from my VIN number. Horriable! Towed my car even though I had a parking pass and then they told me I needed to hurry up and get there to get my car and when I got there no one was there and I had to wait another hour because apparently I had no parking pass but that's funny because when I looked at my car I found it right off the bat. Alpha towing has saved myself and numerous other people I know on multiple occasions. The driver who assisted me ( who I later found out was the owner) is professional, courteous, and answered all my questions.
