Yas! It took me forever to finally get the chance to stop by but I am so glad I did! What I love about Ray's is their classic style donuts, less crazy 'Gourmet' offerings that are drowned in bright pink frosting that are so sweet you can't pair it with a coffee. They offer more original sour cream donuts. The world needs more classic donuts..but I digress... Their coffee is pretty good and I have found that their bacon egg and cheese croissant is a great way to start the day. The service here is always STELLAR. I'm always greeted with a smile and on occasion I find an extra donut in my box. Hats off to Ray's for great service and a solid donut! I will always be a fan of a shop that can perfect an apple fritter and this place never disappoints! If you're a fan like me you do have to get there early if not they may run out. It's ok though, they do have a good variety and I have yet to come across a flavor I don't like. I usually order a dozen mixed donuts and of course I love getting an extra two! My family will finish a whole box in a day if I let them! Their brewed coffee is always fresh and flavorful and I like that they have a variety of refrigerated creamers you can use, including caramel macchiato which is my favorite. I can definitely confirm the hype of this place. Whether you're in a rush for a quick bite or wanting a nice place to sit and socialize at, this is the donut place for you! Other than the wondrous staff, the donuts and breakfast sandwiches are delicious! The donuts are more on the light and airy side, and the big portioned breakfast sandwiches contains fresh cooked eggs (a major plus)! Another thing is they have bubble drinks. Quite impressive since there aren't any around the Lawrenceville area. Although the bubble drinks aren't the best of the best (such as the ones in Duluth), it's sure convenient when you're around the area craving some boba. The prices are cheap as well. By 11:00 am on Sunday, the selection was becoming limited and I didn't get the impression they were making more. In addition to donuts, they sell breakfast sandwiches (on a croissant or bagel). Yay! FRESH donuts in Larry-ville! First time stopping in and Ray's did not disappoint! Visit was on a Friday around 9:45 am. Ordered the family a variety of donuts and a sausage, egg, and cheese bagel and coffee for me. Absolutely everything was really good and fairly priced (compared to fast food). Best old fashioned donut I've ever had. I get an old fashioned everywhere I go and by far this is the best. The people are extremely friendly as well. Don't go in expecting flash and flair. We are new to the area and have been on the hunt for really good donuts. We finally found some really good donuts at Ray's! The glazed buttermilk bar is one of the best I've ever had. We had a few others including a cinnamon sugar twist and a lemon filled, also great. I was very disappointed in the old fashioned but it was by no means bad, just not great. Ray's Donuts is an awesome place to get fresh, delicious donuts and breakfast sandwiches with tons of flavor! The cheese on the sausage croissant is so gooey and yummy! I love that you can actually taste the butter on their croissants too. I didn't see any jelly or jam available, but they do offer hot sauce. My croissant didn't need anything extra though, it was perfectly flavored! The glazed donuts are soft, and melt in your mouth...not overly sweet either. As far as service goes, the cashier is super friendly, efficient, and is always smiling. She's also super hard working, and takes every order in detail. Like others have noted, it is best to arrive early. I went on a Wednesday morning around 6am, and there was already a line forming. Good thing is you'll be in and out within 10-15 minutes. Just found this gem a few weeks ago when my wife was in the local hospital overnight. Can't say enough good things about it. They have cake donuts (more like Duncan Donuts), but they are most like Krispy Kreme in that the majority are the fluffy yeast style. OH SO GOOD! But to make them even better, the prices are not way expensive like KK. I think we got a dozen of all different types of specialist donuts and a Coke for under $10.
