Cinnamon roll donut with a bite taken out!

Donuts were great however there was a small selection and at 10 am on a Sunday, they didn't even have coffee!

Was in the area and dropped by here this morning and I was so happy I did! Got my all time faves (blueberry cake, old fashioned, and pigs in a blanket) the donuts were extra soft and moist today and I love when I get into the store, the owner has the biggest smile on his face each time. This place is all about quality over quantity. The selection is not the biggest, but it's amazing because the quality of his donuts are excellent! I love supporting local mom n pop shops!

Great little neighborhood alternative to Krispy Kreme or Dunkin' Donuts!!! I'm a fan of the plain glazed, while wifey loves the Boston Cream and the kids really enjoy the pigs in a blanket . Not a very big shop and not much variety, but a solid place for good donuts. This is not an 'OMG I have to drive an hour to have these' sort of place, but if you're in the area... check em out! 1/26/2014 UPDATE - Updating my rating. They truly make very good old fashion donuts! If you want the glitz and glam stuff, this isn't the place for you. But if you love traditional donuts, soft and just the right amount of glazing, come here! Good pig in a blanket too.

Where has this place been hiding? Fresh and tasty donuts in a strip mall. This place looks like a dive but don't let that fool you. It's well worth the visit. Don't wait too long though. They close once they sell out!

Went here because of the good reviews. Donuts were just okay. A little on the small side for the cost.

Is a small family owned business too, they don't speak English very well but super nice and sweet ! They open around 5:30-6:00 AM, and many of their most popular items sell out fast. If you're planning to visit, definitely go early! My favorites: Cronut (MUST ORDER ) My absolute favorite item here. It has the flaky, airy layers of a croissant with the soft texture of a donut. Buttery, light, and not overly sweet. If you're only getting one thing, make it this! Spinach Danish (Recommend ) A buttery, flaky pastry filled with a creamy spinach filling. Savory, flavorful, and freshly baked daily. Jalapeño Pig in a Blanket The jalapeño version was my favorite. Soft, buttery bread wrapped around a juicy sausage with just the right amount of heat. Cinnamon Rolls One of their most popular bakery items. Soft, fluffy, and loaded with cinnamon flavor. Custom Donuts They also make adorable custom donuts for birthdays, baby showers, graduations, and special events. Be sure to check out their wall of custom designs

Growing up eating Haitian food allowed my pallet to know good from bad. Haiti competing this year lead me to renew my exploration of local Haitian restaurants. I was able to learn of some new ones that participated in the fanfare downtown, and also learn about a few in the more suburban areas. I learned about La Citadelle Bakery from a Haitian influencer who is likely a fellow foodie. She spoke highly of La Citadelle Bakery and all the authentic, delicious meals that they make as well as baked goods. Everything looked appetizing and I had to add to La Citadelle to my list. Website allowed for viewing of the menu and on-line ordering. There were a few specials listed including the griot meal I ordered. I was able to select a pick up time and set with enough time to make a stop. Upon arrival my meal was boxed and bagged while I looked at the various items in the restaurant. Bakery items were displayed throughout on shelves and in cases. There were also pre-packaged items and beverages in the refrigerator. I added a package of fresh baked bread rolls and a jar of pikleaz to my order. My food was presented before bagging and included the gravy and a side of pikleaz. The food was prepared exactly as I had expected, and tasted scrumptious; each and every bite! The location is in close proximity to the downtown Lawrenceville area in the Crogan Center plaza. The plaza has ample parking for La Citadelle and its neighboring businesses. My next visit will be soon as they were many other items that caught my attention, as well as as being featured on the social media post.

And they are so so much better. Soon's Bakery is one of those bakeries - with fun and viral options like the sweet potato bread (mochi-like texture), sweet corn bread and cream donuts, that you wouldn't find at the classic Korean bakeries. I'm also a big fan of their cookies - with my personal favorite, the earl grey. I'm unsure if they still have their brunch menu, but I also really loved their soufflé pancakes. I'm also impressed with their coffee options - much better than the average Korean bakery. Recently tried the matcha cream latte which was pretty much perfect. Creamy iced latte topped with unsweetened matcha cream - perfect pick-me-up. Overall a pretty quiet spot to grab a sweet treat and a coffee in a newly renovated cafe. Definitely recommend if you're in Suwanee!
