We sat outside on a cold windy day so possibly (or not) this is why I don't have much good to say. The service was slow but friendly. Our table was wobbly and so uneven the water spilled. We attempted to put napkins underneath but couldn't fix it. We obviously were not the only ones with this problem as two other tables had items that landed on the floor. I ordered pancakes bacon fruit and a biscuit. The biscuit came out hot and tasted amazing. The pancakes came out cold with frozen butter but no syrup. I had to ask 2xs for syrup before someone brought some...the only person at the table who's food had no problems was the BLT with avocado, perfect and delicious!! Idk if I'll be back to give this place a second chance, maybe one day... read more

Good food. I feel it's a higher end diner with gourmet-ish food. Huevos rancheros were delicious. The portions tend to be on the small side and prices are a bit high, example $56 tip included for breakfast for two. Love Ridgewood, this is a good spot to plan your next journey into Bergen County. read more

Great spot for brunch. Haven't had anything I didn't like from here. Got the avocado toast today - but usually get the Norwegian Benedict. I also love their sticky toffee pudding and hot chocolate. read more

Cutest brunch spot especially if you're seated outside which we asked for! Got myself an avocado toast- trendy and tasty all in one with a side of chicken sausage. I wouldn't come here for dinner I feel like but definitely recommend for brunch/lunch. You can take a stroll down the block and check out the shops after but keep in mind a lot of the stores are closed on Sundays because of the Bergen County rule! read more

The food came out really fast, and the staff was friendly. I ordered the Jack LaLanne omelette. It was pretty good with the goat and feta cheese adding most of the flavor, but I've had better omelettes for a cheaper price. The atmosphere was great! I loved the old school, diner vibe with the tiled countertops and red booths. read more

Good place to come for breakfast. Have plenty of room and kid friendly. The French toasts here are great, burrito bowl, eggs Benedict, etc. not the cheapest place but not too expensive either. read more

Raymond's has nothing but quality food at a reasonable (for the area) price point. I had a delicious omelette and the best blueberry pie I've ever had. read more

I was last at Raymond's in 2017 and absolutely fell in love with their French toast. The service was good , the atmosphere was calm, and the wait time was short. Fast forward to 2019 I came back to Raymond's for their French toast to only be disappointed. Everything else as far as the service, wait time & atmosphere was great but the French toast was way too thick ( I think they changed to bread) cause the middle to be eggy ( think scrambled egg texture with wet sweet bread taste) I want to give this place another chance but I can't take the risk I get disappointed again read more

Raymond's is a great restaurant with outstanding food and customer service! The staff is very attentive and guest oriented. I had a problem with my meal and it was resolved immediately. The waiters are very sincere as they showed completely made up for all inconveniences. When I found a hair on my dish my waiter apologized and quickly brought me a new salad. I did not have to wait a long time to receive a new meal and was able to eat with the rest of my family. I was also assured that all kitchen staff wore hair net. You can feel comfortable while dining at Raymond's knowing that they value sanitation as this was an extremely rare accident. They also took the extra step to comp my dish. This was not necessary as I did not show any further signs of disappoint. Overall, Raymond's truly cares about their customers. I highly recommend this place to all diners who love great food and a caring staff! read more

The ambience is great and the food delicious. The cauliflower cream soup is delicious and our server, Grace, was the best!

Pretty good restaurant. I shared the Mac & cheese and fries with my friend and they were both pretty good. The staff was super nice and it was a cute atmosphere to get a quick bite to eat. Next time I have to get the hot chocolate because it looked super good with a huge homemade marshmallow in it! read more

I gave the place 3 trys. First time was very good. Second time waited 17 min for regular coffee after placing order, food came luke warm. Workers were busy talking at coffee bar and not working. Last time food was average but service was poor. Management needs to do a.better job training and overseeing staff. Place has a lot of potential, may check it out again in 6 months. read more

We visited this past Saturday @ about 2pm and it was packed. We loved it! I tried the cobb salad, eggs benedict, grits and homemade toast - all were GREAT! Service was attentive & friendly and the retro modern atmosphere is awesome too! Its a popular place so there might be a wait. I do wish they offered more sandwiches on the brunch menu though. I cannot wait to go back! YUM read more

We happened to hit this place when it was around 9.30 at night and too hungry after finishing some daily shopping at Fairway. The staff was accommodative even though we happened to enter at 9.45. Decent place with nice friendly staff. Mango Lemonade was refreshing on a summer evening. Eggplant hummus was a good start to hungry folks like us. Veggie grilled sandwich was delicious and healthy option. Moroccan veggie burger was good, I just couldn't finish it on time. It was really filling. Fries were awesome. I believe they were sweet potato fries. Deep blueberry pie was one kind of treasure we didnt have it anywhere, was full of blueberries and tasty crust. Nice place to hangout on a simple food. read more

Their breakfast sandwich with egg, bacon, cheese and tomato on a biscuit is the perfect way to start the day.

A bit pricey for the food served, and the mexican hot chocolate had bitterness to it that really wasn't pleasant, as if someone just mixed in some random pepper sauce. The food is good but nothing crazy for the price; however, the omelettes and french toast are amazing. read more

Everything is ok same as Montclair. Not a huge fan of the lunch menu. But whatever they are doing is working because its always busy.

I love Raymond's! I was excited when I heard they were opening one a little closer to where we live then the Montclair restaurant. We've been here for brunch twice now since they opened. Dare I say the food is better then Montclair? Both times we've had great service and fantastic food. I'm really looking forward to trying lunch and dinner here. read more

Very clean restaurant serving consistently good food"! The food was excellent and the service was even better.

Delicious food and tons of options. Sat down for lunch with a close friend. We got the same sandwich and raved about it! Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Will definitely be back! read more

Nice atmosphere, Indifferent service. Got a turkey, avocado and bacon sandwich with cole slaw. Fresh turkey, so skinny hardly gave me any, asked for more. Sandwich was tasty, cole slaw was bitter. Hubby got chicken salad, so plain, just chicken and mayo. Nothing special, will not go back. Good fries for another 5 bucks. I'll stick with Baumgarts. read more

We visited for lunch today with the kids. We ate at the bar rather than wait for a table. The ambience was pleasant but quite loud (I assume it must be quieter for dinner). The kids liked the decor and thought the place was fun. The food was pleasant but very pricey for what it was. You can get better for less in the local area. I had the calamari salad based on other reviews and it was good, though not recommended if you're hungry. The others had Eggs Benedict which was ok but nothing special. Service was average. The description of the fries by our server was way off and, when they arrived, my kids would not eat. They had cranberry-apple cider on the menu but stated they no longer sell it. Overall, not bad but we won't be rushing back. If we are in Ridgewood, we would go again but Raymond's is not good enough to make it a destination. read more

Great diner food made with some local ingredients. It was packed for Sunday brunch but sitting at the counter was fast and pleasant.

The manager contacted me to come back and was nice enough to send me a gift card after she read my review. I came back with my girlfriend and we had a great lunch. It was a much better experience then the first time! We def will come here again! read more

Generally good foods and price for quality. But the French toast used to moistful and delicious, and I loved it so much, it was changed other kind of bread like baguette last time I visit. Also I ordered extra fruit on the side with French toast in the morning for breakfast, the fruits seems like leftover during couple of days. I hope that I was just unlucky for the breakfast at the time. Generally good foods they serve and servers are nice. read more

This is a solid choice for breakfast or lunch. I've gone a couple of times, and both experiences were pleasant. I ordered an omelette, which was delicious and not skimpy on the filling. The veggie chili was the highlight of that meal, be sure to get it with the sour cream! I also recommend their hot chocolate with a homemade marshmallow for any chocolate fan. read more

Amazing food and service. Our sweet server Francesca suggestion of the turkey club & meatloaf sandwich knocked our socks off. Highly recommend this place for Sunday brunch! read more

Fresh ingredients are always a plus but the prices here are way too high. I'll never visit again. Food was good but the quantity for the amount was not worth it. Service is lacking on top of it all. read more

All I had was the split pea soup and they nailed it! I love split pea but can be picky with it. It was very creamy and fantastic.

Came here for a nice brunch one weekend. We were able to get seated without wait, which is always a plus. The decor is awesome, I love the character of this place. I got the grilled veggie sandwich and it was so delicious! I also got the iced green tea; it was ok, not my cup of tea (ha get it) considering it has ginger and another ingredient I don't remember in it. But it was an interesting drink. Friendly staff and a beautiful area. I recommend anyone near here to try this place out. read more

This place is truly a treat! I have been here a handful of times with my boyfriend and we are always so satisfied when we come. The food is very good quality and is prepared really well. The chef uses ingredients that just pair really nicely together. This is a really good spot to come for breakfast or lunch. They have a coffee menu that has a lot of tasty treats, and typically they offer a seasonal beverage as well that's very nice. For example, in the fall my boyfriend got some sort of spiced apple cider drink that was served cold that was very delicious. On our most recent visit, he ordered an iced green tea with ginger and honey that was delectable. I ordered an omelet recently that had a bunch of different ingredients (chorizo, tomato, goat cheese, onions, etc..) and the omelet was really good! It wasn't overdone and didn't feel like it was too much. I put some guacamole on top and it was awesome! The decor here is also something I enjoy. This place is quite a step up from just a traditional cafe or diner and I really enjoy coming here for breakfast on my days off :) read more

This place is great. Has an old school diner feel to it. The food is definitely not old school. Lots of options for everyone. I recently went for brunch so it was pretty busy. We didn't make reservations, not sure they even take reservations, so we waited about 15-20 minutes which was not bad. I had the lime Ricky to drink, which was good. Someone else had the raspberry lime Ricky and another had the hot chocolate and hot spiced apple cider. All were very good. Our table had the following for entrees, Four cheese grilled cheese with fries, that was good with lots of thin crispy fries. Mac and cheese with bacon lardons, was a big serving and was very tasty. Burrito bowl was very fresh with lots of ingredients. Frittata was a good size with a salad on top. I had the Cheese grits with chorizo and 2 poached eggs. It was amazing. Only complaint was that I wanted more! For dessert I had the sticky toffee cake. That was really good with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top. Check this place out. read more

This place is just ok, they try and be fancy but it's just a glorified diner. For what it is, it's expensive. I would rather go down the street to daily treat, foods better and less expensive read more

Came for brunch on Sunday. No wait I for 2 people a little after 11am. Ordered huevos rancheros - very good. He ordered steak enchilada special which was very good as well Good options for brunch. read more

Great just like Montclair

I love this new restaurant in Ridgewood and it now is my favorite! The brunch is outstanding; dinner is equally as good. The staff is warm and inviting and the prices are excellent reflecting the quality. The decor is not romantic is the traditional sense but it is SoHo chic without any of the dirt and grime. I bring my 89 year old mother here regularly and the staff is great to help her to the car when I have to pick her up after our dining. As we know parking is a challenge in Ridgewood, the restaurant actually has a space where you could do a quick drop off or quick pick up on special need occasions. The managers are terrific and I give this restaurant my highest recommendation. Enjoy! read more

A great place to grab a bite of brunch and a huge cappuccino and enjoy the sidewalk seating and people watching. Start with a Frisbee sized "large" cappuccino while you peruse the brunch menu. The eggs and grits are like a delicious nacho stew with locally sourced organic eggs and fantastic chorizo. The omelets are also a highlight. I don't know how they make their eggs, but they come out like a smooth blanket. I highly suggest the goat cheese as a topping. Get there early, especially on nice days as the outside tables are taken by locals pretty early. read more

Great food--the homefries were delicious, as was the Norwegian eggs benedict. The service was great too. However, we were disappointed by the orange juice--our server said it was fresh squeezed but it clearly wasn't. It would be great if they made their juice in house! read more

Very nice place in the heart of Ridgewood. Great for family brunch
