Rules Are Meant to be Broken Hot peppers, mozzarella, spicy marinara, spicy sopressata, picante infused OO

On another sunny outing my friend and I came in to treat ourselves to some garlic knots. I'm not sure how to express how ridiculously good these knots are... A Must Have, or don't, I'd gladly take them all The guy behind the counter was Dope! Quick service, and friendly. We usually sit outside but decided to sit at the bar, which I'm glad we did. We basically got front row seats to the Garlic Knot Show. We also decided to split a slice of the "Rules are Meant to be Broken". That crunchy, cheese crispy corners are lovely and satisfying. I haven't had the sopressata slice before and I think it's my new fav. Overall it was a fun filled sunny afternoon eating the best pie in town and having a nice cold quenching beer to go with it. Probably our best trip to Raymonds so far! We will be back soon.

I heard about this pizza place and they pretty much have good food here. They say that their garlic knots are popular, which I did not have yet. Since it's my first time going here, I decided to try their pizzas first. The pizza is amazingly delicious along with the root beer they offer us. Unlike Pizza My Heart, they also serve squared slices, which are smaller than the regular ones. It's $4-5 per slice, which is very reasonable priced considering the size of those pizzas (not the squared ones). The place is very small. Not scenic, but a good place to hangout with your friends for a short time. I also asked them for my pizza for here, but mistakenly put it as it togo , but that's no issue. Though that it's very far from where I live, I'm still considering myself to come back here and try other options especially the garlic knots.

Excellent pizza slice shop in Richmond. Was nearby for a visit to Kaiser. Nice folks working here too and the place is clean and pleasant. Bar seating or tables inside or out.

Raymond's Pizzeria is such a gem to the Richmond, East Bay Area! Slice houses seem to be almost a rarity on this side of the bridge, but so happy we've found a spot that we can grab a quick slice or sit down for a minute and take a load off, order a full pie, watch some Sports, enjoy the hip vibes and tunes. This is the type of spot you pay/order over the counter as you peer at all the yummy garlic knots and slice/flavor options. If you're looking for a non-tomato pie, they typically have slices of the McMushroom available (garlic olive oil base, mozzarella, cremini mushrooms, ricotta, thyme, & white truffle oil). Tomato-wise, truly can't go wrong with their Margarita? (question mark intentional) - the sauce is so fresh & I love the mozza pearls they add on top! Raymond's also offers beer on tap & wine in a can ~ a super fun Friday offer is coined "40oz Fridays"..for $10 you get a slice of cheese and a 40oz of Miller High Life or Pabst, cheers! With a super cool staff & mantra of "no chicken, no ranch, no pineapple, no freezer", there should be no room for interpretations. Pizza is what they do, really really well. You can even order takeout or delivery thru the Yelp app! Parking available & location is next to a fun, Richmond drinking hole called Up & Under and other Point Richmond classics.

Delicious pizza in Richmond! Such a cute skater vibe shop. The guys running the shop have a good sense of humor and know what they are doing! Some good pizza and buttery worthy rolls! I love that they have both NY style pizza and detriot style sicilian pizzas! Both options were great. The mushroom was a standout!

Super fresh and tasty pie. I love a good slice house, and Raymond's has a good variety of options to choose from. Got the margherita and a spicy slice, was not disappointed. Also snagged some garlic knots to share, as they were fresh out of the oven, highly recommended move if you're lucky enough to catch them that fresh. The beer selection is all Russian River, which I'm not mad at. They have some hot honey available too, but beware, it is pretty spicy. Ample seating for a quick meal, and even has some Outdoor seating as well.

After reading a review by Gina G. , we decided to take the 50 minute round trip drive to revisit Raymond's. Her review was cheerful and spot on. My review- curmudgeoney and spot on. PHOTO #... 1) Excited to come back and try Raymond's after about four years. ---- Nobody greets you as you enter. No "Hello!" or "Welcome!" . We get in line with the other sheep. ---- 2) Pizza by the slice is ordered at the counter. It's precooked and gets reheated when ordered. The metal chairs and tables in the back and outside are reminiscent of eating at a Costco. Nothing to entice one to get up and buy more $8 beers from their nice beer selection. ---- 3) Some crust was overcooked and too dry. The reheated food was OK to the taste but nothing to brag about. When it begins to cool it has the texture of what it is. Reheated food. 4) The garlic bread is served steaming hot with a small container of refrigerated cold pizza sauce. A bad heat and cold pairing. The bread gets tough when it cools. Eat quickly. 5,6) Slices of pizza served on paper plates and waxed paper. All totaled. four slices of pizza, garlic bread, one coke and one beer. About $38. 7) The cashier\cook\janitor seemed too rushed. Napkins, straws (if any), condiments, cups (if any) were not at the tables. You need to search them out or ask the cashier- which made it a pain to finally sit down and eat. One worker eats behind the pizza boxes while he is preparing food. This is the second restaurant I won't go back to because of a cook chewing while cooking faux pas. And No, that is not his real face in the photo. 8) There is one variable sex bathroom. Fairly clean but bring your own seat liner. Pro Tip- Ask cashier for the secret access code to enter.. Notes The establishment is fairly clean except for the possible food prep eating incident. ----- Concerning Photo #4 - Arizmendi in Emeryville has a beautifully delicious method of half cooking a pizza and then finishing it off for the customer upon order being placed. Raymond's might look into this. ---- We bussed our own table. As we left, the two employees running the show were in a deep conversation, actively ignoring their paying customer's departure. Thank You and Good Bye.

Ask the Community - Raymond's Pizzeria

When is the wine coming back?

Do these guys sell whole pizzas? Everytime I call they say slices only... feels like they just wanna have higher margins?

Yes they do. At least 3/12/24 they had boxes and whole pizza on the menu.

What happened on Sunday 03/5? I came out for some pizza and they were closed.

Anybody know if they take phone orders? Just tried calling a few times with no answer. :(

Yes they do.. nonstop phone calls

Are they open until 7 or 9pm?

    9pm

Does Raymond's have a gluten free crust (that is also vegan)? Would love to see gluten free pizza with vegan cheese and vegan toppings. And hope their gluten free crust is also vegan. Thanks

Don't think that qualifies as pizza (see: Theseus's paradox).

The name Q intrigued me--hopefully it's not associated with that other Q..... They have mediterranean food. So I guess they put some that on top of the pizza and YUMMM!!! My friends and I ordered a cheese pizza from Q'S Halal Pizza with lamb along with an order of…read morewings, and the food was not enjoyable. The pizza was rolled very thin, but there was almost zero rise in the crust at all: the crust was dense and not airy. If I were to guess, the pizza dough had probably been sitting out for far too long, leading to the dough being way over-proofed. The cubes of lamb topping the pizza had a strange sourness to it and were incredibly dry. Similarly, the wings were also overcooked and very dry, and didn't really have much flavor to them at all. At $33.99 for an X-Large pizza (before tax and tip), you might as well head over to June's pizza in West Oakland to get a pizza for the same price. This was seriously one of the most disappointing pizza's I've eaten in all of 2025.
