    miso and strawberry lemongrass cocktails
    Isabella P.

The ambiance of this place was wonderful -- we sat outside and were right by the water. For drinks we ordered the miso and strawberry lemongrass cocktails. We were given a sample of their mushroom soup for free. We ordered the green tea salmon and honey garlic chicharrón le mein, both were amazing but portions were smaller than expected -- especially considering the price. For dessert we ordered the date sticky pudding and really enjoyed it. Our waiter was very helpful and knowledgeable about the menu.

I'm just here to complain... like for-real. The lobster roll was awkward. It's basically lobster and coconut meat wrapped in egg roll wrap. Didn't really have a taste to it. The guava dipping sauce was overly too sweet. Tuna app- having raw tuna on a warm yuca "toast". Not a very good combo. I had the cod and it was horrible that it made me cry. Sever didn't even care to investigate. Not my cup of tea. COD texture was rubbish. Husband had the duck dish. Too much rice and barely any duck. At least he ate his food.

Book a reservation and RUN to this restaurant if you are in Puerto Rico! It is simply splendid! I was encouraged to book a reservation and was glad I did. It was nice to know that I was going to be seated ahead of time so I was able wear bug spray. I was seated on the outdoor patio just a street and sidewalk away from the lagoon and it was just right! The music - The view of old San Juan reflecting on the lagoon - the quiet voices of other tables....ALL SO SOOTHING. I had the sea bass and it was oh so yummy! And the HUGE bowl of roasted veggies were great! Please come here and enjoy a quiet, peaceful dinner on the water. My favorite part is that no one rushed you through the experience. I was here from 7:30pm - 10pm. Not because the food/service was slow, but because the staff wanted guests to truly enjoy the experience.

Amazing restaurant. All the dishes were super delicious. The service is courteous and professional.

Ambience, vibes, food, drinks, service. 5 stars. This was the cutest date night spot during our trip to San Juan. We made a reservation weeks ahead, and we're seated promptly on the terrace upon arrival. Our meal was excellent along with our drinks. One of the drinks was an old fashioned kind of cocktail, and came with an entire Smokey presentation!! Totally unexpected but great experience. My favorite dish was this yellowtail and jalapeño dish, as we ordered it twice!!

Wow! I came here for my birthday and it was amazing. The food is asian with a Caribbean twist. The servers were very attentive, the restaurant felt sexy, and the food was delicious from beginning to end. We ordered the edamame with a truffle sauce, tuna tartare, rock shrimp boa buns, plantains stuffed with chorizo, tuna poke bowl, and filet mignon with mushrooms dumplings. We finished the meal off with the best dessert I've had in a long time. It was some sort of cake topped with horchata ice cream. I recommend this restaurant if you are in Condado and looking for a really nice place to eat.

Raya was for sure one of the food highlights of our trip! The ambiance and decor were super sleek and gave off 20's vibes (read: gold chopsticks and utensils), setting the stage for some delicious food. Service was also very quick and attentive - the servers spaced out all of our dishes perfectly, too! I had a couple of their Green Tea Cocktails - would recommend this one for any gin cocktail and/or green tea lover! For food, we got the following: Kani Crab Rolls - super tasty, and great mix of flavors and textures between the crab and the crispy spring roll! Great start to the meal. Yuca Tuna Nigiri - you can't go wrong with some seared tuna - again, a great mix of textures between the crispy yuca base and the tuna itself. Jerk Rock Shrimp Bao - I'm partial to a bao, especially a shrimp bao! A close tie, but this could have been my favorite dish of the night. The shrimp was some of the juiciest and tenderest shrimp I've ever had - in a bao or not! Sea Scallops Ajonjoli - got this as my entree, and it was a solid dish! I was a bit full by this point of the meal, but I'm a sucker for a good scallop dish! The yuca bunuelos also added some additional character to the dish (and were a delicious addition)! Donuts - Great conclusion to the meal, and possibly best described as what a Ferrero Rocher donut hole would be like! Enjoyed the ice cream accompaniment as well.

Asian fusion spot right on the water! They have a very aesthetic interior decor and also some nice patio seating by the water. I'm not very easily impressed by Asian fusion food (since I am Asian), but this place had some unique and delicious fusion dishes. They have a fun cocktail menu - it recommend the green tea cocktail if you are a fan of matcha. They also brought us some complimentary soup which tasted like cream of mushroom yum. The appetizers I recommend are the nachos de costilla (the most artistically presented and delicious nachos I have ever had, fried chip topped with the most tender wagyu ribs) and the ahi tuna (fresh seared tuna topped with a wasabi mayo that looked like a tiny egg). For the entrees, duck pegao fried rice is a must! I don't know how they made the rice but it's the crispy rice that you scrape off the bottom of a rice cooker (the best part!). Duck is good too and huge portion. The Oxtail dumplings were also a fun combination of flavors both sweet and savory. Smaller portion but I was stuffed at the end of the meal since we had so many appetizers! The service was slow as it was a busy night but they apologized and brought us a free round of drinks. Had a fantastic experience overall!

Oxtail dumplings (left), tuna poke (right)

The food and drinks are unreal. The oxtail dumplings, tuna poke, gin and tonic, Kawai, and donuts were all 10/10. It is very infrequent that a restaurant can do it all, as Raya has. Additionally, the hosts and waitstaff are exceptionally kind and accommodating. The food comes out in a timely manner. I could not give a higher recommendation to a restaurant.

Very strong yet yummy drinks, annoying music (douche/club mix) and ok food. 0 stars for Puerto Rico's fascination with imitation crab; the rolls could use some real crab or any other wild caught sea critter. The sea bass was a bit dry with little miso flavor and the brussel sprouts are not a good pair at all. Overall this spot was a bit underwhelming and unwelcoming with attitude from hostesses. The identical location up the block had a better feel to it (like a foresty nymph vibe:) so I recommend that one for drinks only (did not dine there). The dessert and cocktails were the saving grace of this joint.

We tried the pan fried veggie dumplings, scallion pancake, hongkong noodles, imperial ginger tofu, black bean chicken, ube pudding and donut with condensed milk. Also 4 drinks - ranging from floral soju based, tropical gin based to fruity bourbon ones. Everything tasted alright - but don't go here expecting authentic flavors - just get ur trip fix ins for asian inspired food. Also I'd skip the imperial ginger and anything that has sweet spicy description as those dishes only lean toward sweet sugary sauce flavors. Service is good but they took really long to come out with the desserts and then the check.

Parking is a bit of a downside since there isn't much available, so I had to pay for parking. Once inside, though, everything moved incredibly fast. I got my food in less than 10 minutes, which is probably the fastest I've ever been served at a restaurant. It almost made me question how fresh it was, but after eating, I can say it was actually very good. I ordered the grilled white fish with lemon and egg fried rice with yum yum sauce on the side, plus shrimp tempura sushi to go. The yum yum sauce tasted like a mix of ketchup and mayonnaise, but when I mixed it with the fried rice, it was really, really good. The fish itself was tasty but needed more salt I ended up adding salt and squeezing lime over it to bring out the flavor. It seemed like it was only seasoned during marination and not finished properly. The salad wasn't anything special, but overall, for how quickly the food came out, the quality was impressive. Portions are generous, and the pricing matches what you get. We came around midnight and left close to 1 AM when they were closing. The place looked packed, but service was still quick and efficient. Our server was okay--nothing standout, but no issues either. Overall, I'd come back. Fast service, solid food, and a good late-night option.

Came with a group of nine from different culture backgrounds, and unfortunately the service was a mess from the start. Our server got visibly angry when my friend asked him to repeat an answer to a menu question. The servers response was hard to understand and when asked to repeat himself he actually yelled at my friend in front of the table, snatched the menu out of his hand, and threw it onto a chair behind him. Completely unprofessional and uncomfortable for everyone. We should've left after this, but didn't because we were hungry. Only half the table was asked for drink orders, and the rest of us were given water. I flagged our server down to order a martini that never came, yet they still tried to charge me for it at the end. We waited an hour for our food and it came out at very different times (also not hot), so we weren't able to eat together. The soups were inconsistent. The miso crab soup and the regular miso were prepared differently and both lacked ingredients. We thought it was odd that the miso crab soup had noodles while the regular miso didn't. Honestly felt like a way to make up for the lack of actual crab in it. The sushi itself was disappointing, overall just subpar. I ordered the bento box and wasn't expecting fried salmon (I've never seen it prepared that way), and my food came out last after everyone else had already finished eating. Everything was bland and lacked flavor. This place clearly can't handle parties larger than four otherwise you will be cramped in a corner, and you can only split checks into a maximum of three payments, which no one told us upfront. To top it off, the server still had the audacity to ask for a tip. I had no problem telling him no and stated that we were unsatisfied with both the service and the meal. Coming from someone who works in hospitality, if I had been dining alone and not with eight other people, I would have walked out. That's how bad the experience was. Overall, not a great time and wouldn't recommend this as a restaurant to eat at. Matter of fact, try out Zhencha Boba Cafe for a better Chinese cuisine. I had it on my last trip to PR and went with a group of 6. That place didn't disappoint at all and the service was amazing. Everyone I was with spoke fluent Spanish and I'm still learning, the server was very patient.

The California roll was good, nothing over the top but solid. The chicken fried rice was really flavorful, but the star of the show -- without question -- were the Thai chili wings. They were absolutely delicious, the kind of dish that makes you wish you had ordered extra to take home. Honestly, I regret not going back the night before just to grab some more. Here are some thoughts: - We started with some of the specialty cocktails they were offering. The Pisco Sour was really good, but a bit sweeter for my taste than I was hoping for. - Given the situation with the power, we opted to start with some items our server said could be served more quickly and decided that the three of us would just share everything. Our first item was the cheese balls appetizer and then we had the ceviche. We're glad we started with these because both dishes were excellent...don't underestimate the cheese balls...they are so good with the guava sauce on top! - Eventually our Churrasco Tiritas came out to our table, prepared with the Salsa Setas Curry and with the Assoz del Chef on the side. Great flavors but the execution could improve. I would have like the 'bacalaito' to be more crispy. - Cabrito Dumpling: Tender goat stew dumpling with Asian spices. It was tasty but be mindful that the 'cabrito' flavors are rich and intense specially in this take. Also the dough was a little thick to my liking. Tender pieces of steak mixed with an egg yolk to give it the perfect smoothness and richness. Composed of cucumber, pomegranate and 'platanutres' very refreshing like a palette cleansing. - Daniel Udon Noodle: Paired with 'longaniza' sausage this time, protein can vary. This dish delivered the best umami flavors. The noodles had great texture. - A la Vietnamita, Chuleta: The 'chuleta' (pork chop) were perfectly cooked, tasty. I fought for the bone piece.
