Food: - Peking Pork Chops: The pork chop was cut into pieces and cooked in Peking sauce. The meat was tender and had amazing flavor. I wish the pieces were cut even smaller. The knife they gave me didn't cut through the meat easily. 4.5/5 - Mongolian Beef: The beef was cooked with green bell peppers, white onions, and green onions. It was very tasty. I would of liked it more if it was spicier. The meat was tender enough for me to eat (I'm picky when it comes to the consistency of beef). 4/5. - Tempura Bananas with Vanilla Ice Cream: This was sooooo good! The fried bananas was served with whipped cream, drizzled with chocolate syrup and condensed milk. 5/5 Service: Our waitresses were not friendly, but not rude. The lady who took care of our bill was upset that we wanted to pay individually. 3/5 Final Thoughts: I would definitely come back. Everything I've tried here has been delicious!

Sushi was mouth watering, highly recommend angry dragon roll. The yummy fried rice was yummy, not greasy.

If you like Asian persuasion you will love this place. Many different styles of Asian food. Very good waitress and very clean and nice establishment. We ordered tons of food and everything was way worth it. Must go!

This place is great!!! Delicious food for a great price. The portion sizes for entrees are large enough for 2 to share. And the place closes at 11pm. We'll definitely be back!!

My parents had eaten here before and said it was really good, so we were excited to see if it lived up to the hype. The restaurant had a lively, bustling atmosphere, with a steady stream of customers dining in and picking up takeout orders. Even though it was busy, the staff kept things moving efficiently. Even for a large order, the wait was only about 30 minutes. They have a separate pickup area for to-go orders, which made the process organized and easy despite how busy they were. We ordered the beef fried rice, house fried rice, churrasco steak, house lo mein, sesame beef, jumbo shrimp, chicken wings, fried pork, pork ramen, and three sushi rolls. The kids in our family chose the Philly Roll, Salmon Avocado Roll, and Red Dragon Roll, and they really enjoyed them. I had originally planned to order a different sushi roll from the menu, but it wasn't available that day. It wasn't a big deal, though, because the rolls we did get were fresh and delicious. Everything was flavorful and well prepared. The churrasco steak was my personal favorite--the meat was incredibly tender and already well seasoned on its own. My husband wasn't a fan of the accompanying sauce, but he agreed the steak itself was excellent. We also really enjoyed the fried rice, and the portions were generous. They were also generous with the condiments and included a variety of sauces with our order, which we appreciated. The only thing we missed was chili oil, since it's a condiment we usually expect to have available at Chinese restaurants. If you're staying nearby or looking for a restaurant that offers both Chinese and Japanese cuisine, Tayzan is definitely worth checking out. Just be prepared for a crowd--it seems to be popular for a reason!

I was recently inspired by an IG story by the supermodel, Paulina Porizkova where she spoke about…read morehow governments turn people against each other to control the population. Citing how she was born into communism, then lived in socialist countries and now has made a home in a capitalist society, she spoke with authority about what is happening in the world right now. She eloquently reminisced about her experience in a communist country, where the enemies were the capitalists who, "kept us from achieving our full potential," in the former republic of Czechoslovakia. The overarching message is that there is more power in unity than being in a fragmented society where its people scramble for truth, justice and freedom. A concept like Godai can only exist in a free society. Everywhere I went on this recent trip to Puerto Rico, I heard people talk about this restaurant: on business meetings, at drinks at a hotel bar and from local friends. Apparently, it's a bit of a social media darling among locals. And, there's good reason. What started as a speakeasy omakase establishment by chef couple Cesar and Daysi is now a full-service restaurant with 3 different spaces: izakaya, omakase tasting room and zen garden. Only in an environment where people have the liberty to pursue their passions, learn techniques from different cultures and there's a free exchange of ideas, can a restaurant in one island nation be inspired by the culinary traditions of another island nation. My dining companions and I were so inspired by the well orchestrated and attentive service, I asked Chef Cesar whether he had made everyone read Will Guidara's "Unreasonable Hospitality." He demurred with humility and said, "we're still trying, and thank you." The food was phenomenal. I'm pretty sure it's the first time I've had black truffle shaved over my tuna crispy rice, and it was tasty. We also had the bluefin and salmon crudo, duck fried rice, spicy edamame, shishito peppers, robata miso black cod, Alsatian white wine, unfiltered sake and panna cotta with raspberry. I noted how authentic everything looked and tasted, but there was a local twist and cariño expressed in every dish. This was not fusion, but Japanese food seen through a local lens. It's not so much that they're trying to recreate an experience in Japan, but paying homage with respect to Japanese gastronomy. You might think that Japan and Puerto Rican cultures are polar opposites, but food brings people of all types together. Godai is a great testament of this, and Paulina would certainly enjoy this spot for so many reasons.
