I reached a point during our PR trip where I was really craving Asian food. We stopped by this spot in the Distrito T-Mobile, a super fun indoor/outdoor entertainment center. To start, I was very excited when I saw that the food came on a train conveyor. First the trio de taco was delicious, loved the fish, eat it quick to keep the taro taco crunchy. Both sushi rolls were tasty, loved the soft shell crab. The hotpot was what I really loved, I cooked the whole basket of veggies and it paired fairly well with the beef. I will definitely come back! This is one of nice places in T-Mobile District near Sheraton. We enjoyed empanadas, spring rolls, Thai tea, Pad Thai, etc. The food is good. The service is nice. The ambiance is that of upscale Japanese or Thai restaurant. There is a sushi boat delivery however those seats require in advance booking and not available for seating, so if you want that boat delivery robot then reserve the seat in advance. The prices are a bit high. We also had tres leches cakes. I like that while it is an asian restaurant they had adopted a few Puerto Rican dishes to their menu. read more

We were tired of eating only Puerto Rican food while we visited there so, we were excited to try something new, so we went to an Asian restaurant. But it wasn't all it was cracked up to be. It took forever for someone to come to our table and take our drink orders. When they finally did, they were friendly and spoke both English and Spanish. But then, things went downhill. It seemed like our orders were being placed separately, so we got our food at different times. Some of us had already finished our main courses, while others were still waiting. By the time our second group got their food, we were done. This delay was a total pain in the neck. We tried to find our server to ask about it, but it was hard to get her attention. So, our service was terrible. Even though the food was okay, the whole experience was ruined. The ambiance was nice, and we appreciated the short notice they gave us for seating, since we were a party of seven. But that shouldn't have affected our service, and it did. Would recommend this place for the experience however would forewarn the service is a little slow. They were able to seat us immediately which was great! The food came out quick but drinks took longer than the apps. The waiter was not knowledgeable about the menu which is much appreciated for a $$$ restaurant. The food was pretty subpar. It was edible but I wouldn't consider it good. What was most disappointing was the service. We came in a group of 5; 4 of us got our food at the same time. When we asked about our 5th persons meal, the waitress said "it's coming, I have a lot of tables." And then proceeded to stand at the bar on her phone. Our 5th member got his well after we were already done. We had to ask for drinks multiple times and never got the water we asked for. We went here without a reservation and were seated immediately. We sat outside and everything we ordered was great! The server was awesome. The drinks were great and the food was even better. We decided to chill here before a movie and we are really glad we did. I would definitely come back and I would recommend anything off the menu. We were not acknowledged for ten minutes because the worker had Air Pods in and an "i don't care attitude". I originally wanted the milk tea with lychee but they ran out of lychee. For example, we had the shrimp shaomai and Thai chicken wings as appetizers. The shaomai was fried as opposed to steamed. First time I'd had them fried. I liked it. The wings were a little dry because they were overcooked. However, the flavor wasn't bad. It came with a sweet dipping sauce. The sauce was good. I would have preferred it if the wings had arrived tossed in the sauce. For the main course I went with galbi beef. It was supposed to come with kimchi and mashed taro. Unfortunately, the were out of the taro so I had to settle with white rice. It was still good, but I would have like to try the mashed taro. Kimchi was pretty good. Very spicy which I like. The beef itself was excellent. That was probably my favorite. My wife ordered the Denko Roll. I liked it but she didn't care much for it. The restaurant itself is very nice. It's clean and nicely decorated. I really liked the painting on the wall of a woman with chopsticks grabbing a star. My biggest complaint is that it wasn't very kid friendly. The only dish they had on the kids menu was teriyaki chicken and white rice. Our son didn't really care for the chicken. We liked it but he didn't. All he ate was the rice. Good thing there are several other options in the area that are kid friendly. Overall, the experience was fine. Food was good but didn't stand out compared to other Asian restaurants we've been to... except for the galbi beef. read more

Aside from that, we liked everything else: teriyaki chicken from the kids menu, which by the way is the only option on the kids menu; galbi beef; shrimp shoumai; and the Thai chicken wings. Even though I liked the food, I thought the price was too high. The food was good, just not that good. Also, I didn't like that they only have one item for kids. What a bummer. We were looking for a change from PR food but this is a huge miss. Edamame came out mushy which should have been a red flag. Our spring rolls were good. When the main courses came out, all but one arrived. The final main course came out as everyone else had finished eating. Definitely a " we forgot to put that into the kitchen." We all had waters to drink except for one person had an iced tea. The bill comes and we are charged $6 for two ice teas- evidentially no free refills on non-alcoholic beverages. Server had problems splitting the tab, yes we were charged $32 for the 20 min late entree, splits the 2 ice-teas between the two parties and then added a $30 tip to my tab a 22% tip!!!! So essentially $65 bucks added to my tab for crap service. Anywhere in the states, if they miss an order, it's comped or at least a discount or free dessert. No, this server doubles her tip and runs off. I argued with the host and they gave me back $10 cash. Just unreal, horrible, avoid like the plague. read more
