Celery "milk" with a medley of carrots and other deliciousness.

A superb culinary experience! We had an amazing experience! After a private tour of the winery expertly led, a 5 course creatively prepared gourmet meal paired with wines and explained by Cordon Bleu Chef Scott at the "Ravinous Table". The second course appetizer was a bacon cocoa Bird nest served among beautiful oak barrels with a tasting directly from one of the barrels. Highly recommend!

Cheese and charcuterie board. Whipped honey is beside the spoon of delicious mustard.

Amazing food in a rustic setting. We went for a wine tasting, but ended up staying for lunch, and we're so glad we did. The menu probably changes frequently as it's farm-to-table, but we had a pork belly and Gouda sandwich, chicken liver parfait, and a charcuterie board, each one outstanding. Of special note is a dab of whipped honey to go with the pork rillettes on the board. Whatever magic they work to get it to taste that way is truly magical. The wine is also great, but worth coming just for lunch.

Excellent. Had a great dinner here day before New Years 2017. We are back in NY and wanted to go again this year but they are sold out.

Amazing! The food and wine pairings were excellent! We wanted to go back the next night. The hostess Casey and Chef Scott were fantastic!

My family and I arrived to the Ravines Geneva tasting room on Sunday 5/10 (Mother's Day) at 4:43pm…read moreand upon entering were promptly told the tasting room was closed as they were closing in 15 minutes. We have previously been Ravines wine club members and frequently enjoy stopping into their tasting room for wine tasting, food and purchasing bottles. We would have happily purchased some wine to take home with us (likely a case or more) but the staff was incredibly unfriendly and unwelcoming. When I asked, for future visits, when the tastings usually stop, I was told 4:30. Ravines may want to update their website and online presence to reflect this (everything posted says 5pm close) as we were disappointed to be unable to finish our Mother's Day celebration at their tasting room. Due to the completely unfriendly welcome (customers were walking past us with fresh pours, clearly having just been served), we opted to leave without purchasing any wine - a significant loss for their business, not only in sales but also in customer loyalty. No one apologized that we couldn't be served or asked if we wanted to purchase any wine. We won't be back any time soon and will share the experience with friends so as to help them avoid a similarly unpleasant experience. We were once loyal but now disappointed Ravines customers.

Amy was so knowledgeable…read moreand I loved chatting with her about the different growing years and the distinctions between their vineyards. While I chose a few glasses to taste, most of what I took home were the things she handpicked for me. I was especially taken by the Glint Riesling which was grown from two sunny rows in a very sunny growing season and tastes like liquid sunshine. I also like what they're doing with Savagnin. The moody ambiance of the barn is just right for tasting. Highly recommended!

A beautiful table was prepared ahead of time, and the staff even greeted us as we stepped off the bus, making us feel like VIPs from the start. A special shoutout to Glenn, who led our tasting experience. Not only was he incredibly knowledgeable about the wines, but he was also absolutely hilarious. He fit right in with our group, joking and laughing with us as if he was part of the party. We spent almost the entire hour and a half laughing while learning about and enjoying some fantastic wines. And we can't forget the chocolate pairing--it was out of this world delicious and complemented the wines perfectly. This was one of the most memorable winery experiences we've ever had. Exceptional hospitality, amazing wine, great company, and an unforgettable host. We can't wait to come back!

He was extremely attentive as well. The table/outside patio is quaint and very charming. It also feels extremely private since it's tucked back from the road in a woodsy area. The wine was pretty good overall...not great. The chocolate pairing we did at the end of our experience was totally worth it!!! Their chocolates were absolutely divine and extra delicious when paired with the wine!!! While my friend didn't particularly enjoy her juice flight (she said they all tasted too similar to one another), she really appreciated that they had a non-alcohol flight option.

Reviewing the hotel and the Stonecutter's restaurant. Hotel:…read morePositives: close proximity to Geneva, especially if you are seeing a show at the Smith Opera House. Beautiful grounds if the weather is good. On Seneca Lake....gorgeous. Wine spigot in the hotel hallway ( limited to one glass per person). We received a coupon for the wine tasting with 10% off of alcohol purchases in the store. The Continental breakfast had a nice assortment of drinks and cold items. Negatives: one word comes to mind...dated. Our room was small with a very limited lake view. The windows haven't been cleaned in a very long time. The television is tiny, like a computer monitor. The spring rod to the curtains kept springing off every time I tried to open or close the drape. The shower is tiny and you can barely turn around. There are few outlets, the only ones I was able to access that worked were in the bathroom ( only one of the double outlet was functional). The carpet in our room appeared to be about thirty years old and worn. This room, called the clay room was advertised on the website to have a queen bed and a refurbished bathroom. The bathroom has not been touched in years and the queen bed turned out to be a full-size bed. Stonecutters: wonderful waitress, who kept our beverages filled and was attentive. My broccoli cheddar soup had negligible cheddar or broccoli. My salad with grilled shrimp was okay. My husband's Cuban sandwich arrived on a stale roll and he thought the fries (weirdly shaped) were reheated. His chili arrived lukewarm. Not a good experience overall. Despite this, the staff are lovely, upbeat and helpful.
