They EV charging stations for vehicles and other things plenty of handicap parking all throughout the facility and also a restaurant right in the middle of this place so you don't have to go very far to get good food Speaking of good food, their breakfast buffet by far put it over the top because a lot of times you go to hotels and you get maybe a continental breakfast just a few items and you're not really interested in those items but this breakfast buffet was overwhelming because it was so amazing and on this trip we finally got to eat a good meal at a hotel They had pancake sausage, eggs, different kinds of bacon, like four or five different juices, six or seven different coffees, bagels plenty of people behind the counter to serve you fresh fruit, all kind of stuff and it was well laid out. The town of Oakhurst is my favorite as it offers great amenities that are the closest to the best entrance to Yosemite in my opinion. Lets start with the food. This is one of the best culinary experiences I have had and it is consistently good. The three course or five course dining service is stellar. These chefs are some of the best in the world and Ive been all over the world. The leadership of Erica is not to be surpassed. She has an incredible calm spirit with a smiling happy crew that provides top notch service with warmth and class. The bartender Jordan is a delight with his great smile and kind eyes. The food experience made me feel like I was being nourished from the inside out not just with nutrition but with love and flavor that was new and revitalizing. This was my first stay at the Chateau Sureau. Oh my heart. I feel that I was healed and restored from a level of stress I dont think I realized I was carrying from our busy crazy noisy world at home. The property is exquisite with old world charm and the perfect patina of age that makes you feel you are in the old country of Paris or Austria or England. The landscape is stunning and it was raining so the fireplaces were roaring and the pines were glistening with silver drops backlit by an incredible sunset. The breakfast service is top notch and the staff is incredibly attentive. You know its good when you know each others names. Thanks to Lorenzo, Sienna, Logan, Jissel and Lori for incredible Chalet guest service. Then, there is the spa. I just had to go since I was feeling like my life was coming back to my ownership again. The Spa is gorgeous. The spa. director Way has been on this property for 20 years. I had the best facial and conversation with her. What a treasure she is. Kim was my massage therapist and she is one of the best I have ever had and my son at home is a therapist as well so I feel qualified to say so. I got to spend my time in the couples massage room which has stunning views, a balcony that looks out from the hot bubbling soaking tub that you get to use after your massage. I had a choice of oils to add and we went with elderberry which is incredible for soft skin. Its absolutely wonderful. The small scale in size lent itself to making connections with other guests that were fantastic and I made friends here while staying that will last! I will be back everytime I am in town. I was here on a rainy weeks end and it added to the magic. I can imagine what it is like in spring when the gorgeous grounds are covered in flowers blooming. I cant wait to see it again then or even next month for the holidays! Some may say there is some aging to the rooms but I say its perfect and if you have traveled to the Old Country in Europe this is part of the actual beauty and experience. Relish it!!

The complimentary breakfast was fresh and plentiful -- the daughter especially liked the "Hampton" Waffle. :) This 5-star review is for the wonderful care they extended when my husband took a minor fall at the park. When he walked in with abrasions, the staff member -- I wish we got her name (ponytail and glasses) -- immediately offered help. She gave my daughter ibuprofen and bags for ice. Later that evening when my daughter was heading out to get dinner, the same staff member asked about my husband and offered to assist with anything else. Excellent experience! We will definitely be back when we return to Yosemite.

I planned this trip with a group of friends, and they could not stop commenting about how the chalets was the best stay they've been in at Mammoth. We stayed at chalet #9 which was not a ski out, but a very short walk to the main lodge/lifts and definitely a ski in from lower road runner. The chalet itself was cozy with plentiful seating, and even extra foldable chairs for our group. The beds were comfortable, and the bathrooms came equipped with hotel sized toiletries, which was a nice touch. The kitchen is a good size and well equipped with all the necessities, along with a fridge/freezer that was the perfect size to fit all of our weekend groceries. I also appreciated that they even had a huge pot to make group meals like pho, even though I had already brought my own instant pot. The next day, my husband and youngest went and grabbed theirs and went for a hike. My oldest and I went up a bit later. We were informed we could not get it. They informed us we had to be all together and being my husband and daughter had already been we could not receive ours. Spoke to two different people. Front desk said yes of course you can and deli was saying no. Asked to speak to a manager and told her we were never informed that we had to be all together when we checked in. She said well it's "difficult" to keep track of 900 guests and said going forward they would inform guests but we could not get the breakfast. She did offer a shuttle back to the cabin though lol. Which we proudly decline because it was basically a slap in the face. Figure out a better system, you are running a resort. Maybe give each registered guest a voucher at check in. At minimum at least inform your guests at check of the requirement. In the end it wasn't even about the bottle of juice and cereal cup, it was the point of it all. An absolutely demeaning experience.

If you're into new furniture and finishing this place is not for you. The owner is very nice. She is also making improvements. I will post pictures. We paid for 3 rooms for the price of 1 at a higher in Hotel. We only needed the place to sleep for 2 days. It wasn't noisy with parties or talking even with the road right out front you didn't have a lot of traffic noise. We actually sat outside in the parking lot chatting our last night. It has everything you need fridge, microwave, electric fireplace on the wall and a ceiling fan. Clean shower and toilet. The shower is very tall so no problem for a tall man or woman. I read a review from a year or so ago talking about the microwave being in the bathroom. That is where it's stored on shelf/counter. I moved it to the table inside the room it's a dorm size microwave. I will post picture. You will see the character and some old but clean quilts and my room had old curtains that didn't match the bed compared to my sister in laws. One of my sisters said she liked my curtains were as I like the ones she had. LOL I will do my room first 2 queen bed. Our second room with blue and the 3rd room.
