We stayed two nights while visiting Yosemite. Hotel seems new with nice modern decor, comfortable bed and linens. Rooms quiet. Good quality toiletries. They only clean every other night which was fine for us. Coffee maker and fridge in room but also coffee and tea available in lobby all day. Warm breakfast - eggs, sausage, potatoes, waffles, yogurt, cereals, fruit, pastries and breads, juices, coffee and tea. Complaints: hair dryer in room 400 BURNED my hair!!! They charged us $12/day for parking which was plentiful but on their website it says free parking. False advertising. Will definitely complain up the chain. If my review was based on that I would give them a one star. EDIT: the manager on duty removed the parking charge after we complained that the charge policy was added after we had made our reservation. It's all good now!

Clean and comfy! My daughter and I stayed at this Oakhurst hotel on Memorial Day weekend while visiting Yosemite National Park. We brought two dogs so our hotel choices were limited but we were happy with our selection. With traffic on Sunday, it was about 1.5 hours to get to the gate. Without traffic on Monday, it took about 35 minutes. The hotel is located at the end of the highway not far from where the mountain begins. The parking lot had plenty of spaces surrounding the hotel. The hotel was clean, modern and in great condition. Amenities included an indoor pool, spacious fitness center, laundry facilities, a tiny store and complimentary Continental breakfast. Our double queen room was spacious and relaxing. The bathroom was bright and contemporary with a shower only. The breakfast area was the typical Hilton Continental breakfast with a serve yourself all you can eat bar with eggs, pastries, cereal, oatmeal, yogurt, fruit, waffles breakfast meats and beverages. Complimentary coffee was also available for most of the day. Staff was friendly and helpful. We will definitely return.

I was so impressed that this Hotel is about to celebrate 18 months of operation. It's so clean and inviting with four floors for guests to stay or play throughout the day. This evening was fully booked, so it definitely helps to plan ahead months in advance for your stay in Oakhurst. Did I mention breakfast is free the morning of your stay and starts at 6:30 AM? Although limited, it is quite filling and just makes your day a little better with a full stomach. Upon checking in, Krista was an angel in finding a suitable room for us on the fourth floor which has a beautiful view of the mountains. I did remember others that have experienced her kindness, so keep up the great work and thank you for making our stay the best of any hotel we've stayed at in the Sierras!

Clean rooms, yummy breakfast (yay waffles!), nice staff throughout the hotel. The rooms were nice and beds were comfortable.

My family and I stayed here for the first weekend of Horsetail Fall at Yosemite. Staff were super friendly and very informative. We were able to get YURTS bus schedule, maps and brochures for Yosemite. Hotel's public areas and guest rooms were clean. I was a bit disappointed that breakfast was next door at the Fairfield Inn by Marriott. I was looking forward to the waffles at Hampton. But overall, our experience was great. We will definitely return in the summer when we come to visit again.

What quick get away for the weekend. We stayed at the Hampton inn in Oakhurst. It is a new hotel for roughly over a year. The staff were excellent in getting us checked in. The room was excellent and the view of the mountains were breathtaking. Staffs suggestion on restaurants snd places to go were very helpful. Best part was breakfast in the morning. The fun part was making your own waffle.

The staff was very friendly and willing to talk about restaurants and the best way to get to Yosemite and other questions that we had. The whole property was well kept and felt very safe easy driving directions to get to our hotel room. We were blessed with a hotel first floor had a great patio out, looking into a wooded area. Parking was very easy we park just a few spots away from our hotel room. They EV charging stations for vehicles and other things plenty of handicap parking all throughout the facility and also a restaurant right in the middle of this place so you don't have to go very far to get good food Speaking of good food, their breakfast buffet by far put it over the top because a lot of times you go to hotels and you get maybe a continental breakfast just a few items and you're not really interested in those items but this breakfast buffet was overwhelming because it was so amazing and on this trip we finally got to eat a good meal at a hotel They had pancake sausage, eggs, different kinds of bacon, like four or five different juices, six or seven different coffees, bagels plenty of people behind the counter to serve you fresh fruit, all kind of stuff and it was well laid out. A very relaxing environment that you can walk in get your breakfast sit down and really enjoy your time there and go back for seconds and know it was gonna be hot and fresh every time so I truly recommend this place because of how relaxing it was how easy it was to get in and out of and the food quality for breakfast was amazing. The only thing that was a little bit still out of date, but still look good was the rooms they are older style rooms not updated like a lot of other places are, but it was an amazing stay great facilities and we will stay here every time we go to Yosemite

The town of Oakhurst is my favorite as it offers great amenities that are the closest to the best entrance to Yosemite in my opinion. Lets start with the food. This is one of the best culinary experiences I have had and it is consistently good. The three course or five course dining service is stellar. These chefs are some of the best in the world and Ive been all over the world. The leadership of Erica is not to be surpassed. She has an incredible calm spirit with a smiling happy crew that provides top notch service with warmth and class. The bartender Jordan is a delight with his great smile and kind eyes. The food experience made me feel like I was being nourished from the inside out not just with nutrition but with love and flavor that was new and revitalizing. This was my first stay at the Chateau Sureau. Oh my heart. I feel that I was healed and restored from a level of stress I dont think I realized I was carrying from our busy crazy noisy world at home. The property is exquisite with old world charm and the perfect patina of age that makes you feel you are in the old country of Paris or Austria or England. The landscape is stunning and it was raining so the fireplaces were roaring and the pines were glistening with silver drops backlit by an incredible sunset. The breakfast service is top notch and the staff is incredibly attentive. You know its good when you know each others names. Thanks to Lorenzo, Sienna, Logan, Jissel and Lori for incredible Chalet guest service. Then, there is the spa. I just had to go since I was feeling like my life was coming back to my ownership again. The Spa is gorgeous. The spa. director Way has been on this property for 20 years. I had the best facial and conversation with her. What a treasure she is. Kim was my massage therapist and she is one of the best I have ever had and my son at home is a therapist as well so I feel qualified to say so. I got to spend my time in the couples massage room which has stunning views, a balcony that looks out from the hot bubbling soaking tub that you get to use after your massage. I had a choice of oils to add and we went with elderberry which is incredible for soft skin. Its absolutely wonderful. The small scale in size lent itself to making connections with other guests that were fantastic and I made friends here while staying that will last! I will be back everytime I am in town. I was here on a rainy weeks end and it added to the magic. I can imagine what it is like in spring when the gorgeous grounds are covered in flowers blooming. I cant wait to see it again then or even next month for the holidays! Some may say there is some aging to the rooms but I say its perfect and if you have traveled to the Old Country in Europe this is part of the actual beauty and experience. Relish it!!
