Cedar Room restroom. Very spacious and cozy!

Very comfy cabin and well maintained. The owner Eddie gave a tour and made tourist packets allowing for us to have better navigation of the area. Rooms are very comfy and newly renovated. Common area kitchen and front room are very well stocked and clean!! Eddie gave us a dinner recommendation and we took it!! Very spot on for w great meal. We only stayed one night but if we are back in the area we will stay here again and even longer. Absolutely a fantastic place!! Nice to stay in a place that the owners are friendly and care about your comfort.

We have stayed here twice and LOVED it. OK, it's the European type of B and B. You share the kitchen with the other folks. But, before you get all cranky about that, we rarely saw the other folks in the kitchen and when we did, it was fun because they were from Denmark and we learned much. Otherwise, we thought we were the only people staying there. No noise at all. Our room was fabulous. We had a king size bed, a beautiful shower and bathroom area, and a table and chairs outside on the patio. We loved watching the bats come for dinner. Don't be alarmed, the bats are small and eat bugs. They don't come near you. This place is very close to one of the entrances to Yosemite. Unless you are staying in the park itself, you really can't find a more convenient place. Eddie, the owner, is a font of knowledge and will steer you clear to the right places. Love Evergreen Haus and wish I could live there.

The staff here are very friendly and informative. We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast for staying guests. There was a massive variety of breakfast options. Well organized and cleanliness was maintained throughout our experience. Jimmy was cleaning the dining area and he greeted us and asked if he can clean a section to accommodate our large group. He was very nice. There was a very sweet lady working in the kitchen area. I didn't grab her name but she was hospitable and genuinely nice. She took our last name before eating and let us know what yummy food options were available. We will definitely be coming back.

The staff was very friendly and willing to talk about restaurants and the best way to get to Yosemite and other questions that we had. The whole property was well kept and felt very safe easy driving directions to get to our hotel room. We were blessed with a hotel first floor had a great patio out, looking into a wooded area. Parking was very easy we park just a few spots away from our hotel room. They EV charging stations for vehicles and other things plenty of handicap parking all throughout the facility and also a restaurant right in the middle of this place so you don't have to go very far to get good food Speaking of good food, their breakfast buffet by far put it over the top because a lot of times you go to hotels and you get maybe a continental breakfast just a few items and you're not really interested in those items but this breakfast buffet was overwhelming because it was so amazing and on this trip we finally got to eat a good meal at a hotel They had pancake sausage, eggs, different kinds of bacon, like four or five different juices, six or seven different coffees, bagels plenty of people behind the counter to serve you fresh fruit, all kind of stuff and it was well laid out. A very relaxing environment that you can walk in get your breakfast sit down and really enjoy your time there and go back for seconds and know it was gonna be hot and fresh every time so I truly recommend this place because of how relaxing it was how easy it was to get in and out of and the food quality for breakfast was amazing. The only thing that was a little bit still out of date, but still look good was the rooms they are older style rooms not updated like a lot of other places are, but it was an amazing stay great facilities and we will stay here every time we go to Yosemite

The town of Oakhurst is my favorite as it offers great amenities that are the closest to the best entrance to Yosemite in my opinion. Lets start with the food. This is one of the best culinary experiences I have had and it is consistently good. The three course or five course dining service is stellar. These chefs are some of the best in the world and Ive been all over the world. The leadership of Erica is not to be surpassed. She has an incredible calm spirit with a smiling happy crew that provides top notch service with warmth and class. The bartender Jordan is a delight with his great smile and kind eyes. The food experience made me feel like I was being nourished from the inside out not just with nutrition but with love and flavor that was new and revitalizing. This was my first stay at the Chateau Sureau. Oh my heart. I feel that I was healed and restored from a level of stress I dont think I realized I was carrying from our busy crazy noisy world at home. The property is exquisite with old world charm and the perfect patina of age that makes you feel you are in the old country of Paris or Austria or England. The landscape is stunning and it was raining so the fireplaces were roaring and the pines were glistening with silver drops backlit by an incredible sunset. The breakfast service is top notch and the staff is incredibly attentive. You know its good when you know each others names. Thanks to Lorenzo, Sienna, Logan, Jissel and Lori for incredible Chalet guest service. Then, there is the spa. I just had to go since I was feeling like my life was coming back to my ownership again. The Spa is gorgeous. The spa. director Way has been on this property for 20 years. I had the best facial and conversation with her. What a treasure she is. Kim was my massage therapist and she is one of the best I have ever had and my son at home is a therapist as well so I feel qualified to say so. I got to spend my time in the couples massage room which has stunning views, a balcony that looks out from the hot bubbling soaking tub that you get to use after your massage. I had a choice of oils to add and we went with elderberry which is incredible for soft skin. Its absolutely wonderful. The small scale in size lent itself to making connections with other guests that were fantastic and I made friends here while staying that will last! I will be back everytime I am in town. I was here on a rainy weeks end and it added to the magic. I can imagine what it is like in spring when the gorgeous grounds are covered in flowers blooming. I cant wait to see it again then or even next month for the holidays! Some may say there is some aging to the rooms but I say its perfect and if you have traveled to the Old Country in Europe this is part of the actual beauty and experience. Relish it!!

I booked my room with my Pekingese dog and there was a $50 pet deposit for him, which is understandable. The hotel is still relatively new and is clean inside with hardly any traffic. The room is pretty standard with a small desk and reading nook area. I feel like the restroom is spacious, which I appreciate. There are sundries available in the lobby, with a pretty good assortment of products from alcoholic beverages to shaving cream. I have two issues with the property... there is no water available in the room, I find this small detail annoying as there is a kurig available but impossible to use without water. My second issue is the lack of ice machines on each floor. I had to trek up to the 2nd floor for ice, another small but nonetheless annoying inconvenience. Overall I feel the property is nice and the price is decent for the area.

So I booked the 2 queen beds with points and the king suite with credit card. After booking, I called two times to confirm that my rooms would be connected and they said yes they would be blocked off and they would not be given away. Again I called twice to confirm, once right after I booked it and the day before we would arrive. When I arrived to check in the rooms were not connected and no connecting rooms were left. I understand connecting room are not guaranteed but I called twice and they promised the rooms were blocked. This is was a major inconvenience as we have kids and now we had to separate two parents and our luggage. The sofa bed in the king suite was very uncomfortable (thin and you can feel the springs). The person at the front desk at the time of check-in could not do anything about it as far as compensation because he said he was new and no supervisor was there. The next morning I talked to the front desk supervisor which was Leah and she was also not willing to resolve the situation with compensation for the room. She said she could to give 5000 points back, which is absolutely unacceptable. I booked 39,000 for the two queen bedroom. I would not have booked here if I knew we would not have connecting rooms. Absolutely disappointed with how it was handled.
