This wasn't what I expected from a wood fired - Italian inspired pizza. It was normal, heavy, Americanized pizza. The Sicilian was better, but still very heavily topped with a thick layer of sauce and cheese. I like how browned the cheese was, the undercarriage was lightly browned. The crust was flavorful here as well. The Sicilian was the lighter choice and better executed, to my surprise. To note, nothing was mentioned to the staff since this is what we were served, we trust the kitchen is putting out food they would be proud of and is served as they would like it to be served. I'm sure they were popular with the local folks, but it's not worth going out of your way to try.
