BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY. They don't stand behind their work…read more Silver Creek replaced my roof last year. In the process, they ruined the ceiling of my outside patio by using nails that punctured the whole ceiling leaving pock marks all over the surface. To fix the issue caused by Silver Creek roofers, Colten Husband, owner of Silver Creek, had his crew install INTERIOR paneling on my OUTSIDE patio ceiling to cover the nail holes. Interior materials are clearly intended for INSIDE and not OUTSIDE use especially in severe climates like Texas. Naturally, the materials started falling apart quickly after installation. We asked Colten to fix the issue several times and he refused. We have had three contractors come to review the work and all of the gasped at the poor work Silver Creek did to our patio including using interior materials on an outdoor patio as well as the poor installation. Due to Silver Creek's error ruining my patio ceiling, we are forced to fix the damages they caused. Beware of companies that don't stand behind their work.

My wife and I were very happy with Colten's professional manner. He was never pushy or rude. Always respectful and helpful. He was always very kind, and always courteous. We wanted a metal roof to replace our shingles and we worked with him to select the right color and specs. I will tell you that Colten honored every commitment he made. If we we wanted something adjusted, or changed, he made it happen without any hesitation. I can tell you that there are more SCEC signs in our neighborhood than any other roofer, so that in and of itself should tell you something. I can recommend Colten and SCEC for any future project you have in mind.

When you make a big purchase like this you want to know that you're taken care of and that they care about you and your property. I personally got more than seven quotes. I paid attention to how they came out to quote me. On each one I watched where they placed the ladder to get on my roof, if they were on time, if they communicated with me, even how they followed up with me and a lot more. I felt that how they took care of me when they came to do an estimate meant a lot. I also checked to make sure that the company had a permanent office or warehouse. I checked Yelp, Angie's List, and BBB reviews. I wanted a company that had permanent employees not ones that they picked up that morning. I was highly disappointed with a lot of the other companies. Some failed all my tests miserably. Sanders Roofing however shined through like a diamond in the rough. They were very respectful of my property and they were very knowledgeable. Eric was awesome...he went over everything with us in great detail so we knew what to expect. Eric was on site every day to make sure that the work was getting done properly. Alonzo who was in charge of installing my new metal roof was wonderful. He and his crew did everything they could to make it easy for me. They were also very respectful of all my property and time. I could tell the crew had worked together for some time. They all knew their jobs and got started and stayed busy the whole time. They all seamlessly knew what to do from start to finish. It was a chaotic dance from tear down to finished product but the crew made it look effortless even though it is very hard back-breaking work. I am very satisfied with how Sanders Roofing treated me and my wife through the whole process. There is no need to go through all the trouble I went through to find the right company...just trust Sanders Roofing they are AWESOME!!!! Believe me I am not being paid for any of this review I am just so pleased with all they did. I also am planning to talk to them about my gutters. If they did this good on my roof I can't wait to see what they can do with those.

If you're into the personal service and general flexibility of family-run shop, Terry and Lynn are available by phone or text at all times and will try their best to meet any request you have of them. And if you're into the professionalism and polish of a big corporation, All-Star Roofing has that too--from the folder-bound quote packet that comes with every estimate and explains everything from the company's background to the week's weather forecast, to the wide selection of products and services and the quality of work. Like every company, there were a few hiccups. They forgot some wire mesh on a small rodent-intrusion repair we did a few months back, and didn't get back out to add it for several weeks. And when we replaced the roof last month, they were a bit late on the first day of work and forgot to alert me. BUT, the thing that makes All Star different from so many other companies is their insistence on apologizing (sincerely), promising to do better, and fixing the problem. Customer service is a serious concern for them. Oh, and did I mention they are a great value? Terry drastically outbid two other companies for the roof replacement last month, and offered a better warranty. We've moved to Dallas, but if they'll make the trip up, we'll definitely be calling Terry about our next roof.
