First and foremost Parking - there are 3 parking lots at Jack Darling park and getting a spot during peak hours can be a bit troublesome but we did get one after 5-10 mins of circling the lots. This is the best way to enter since there is no allocated spot at the start of Rattray marsh. Beautiful view of the lake, city and so many spots to just sit and relax - this place is perfect quick get away for the neighborhood as well as Mississauga residents. Enter the boardwalk from the Jack Darling park which is just 7-8 mins walk along the lake and then this boardwalk begins. We went after a decent snow day and the path was clear and easy to walk. The boardwalk does close after sunset as for the winter hours seems it's until 5pm. There are playing areas for kids as well at the Jack Darling park. Overall beautiful spot!

This is a great place if you don't want to get your paws dirty . Big wooden board walk goes through a trial that lead to a beach . Lots of nature. This place is a must if you want to to go for a nice walk and keep clean.

Erindale Park - Beautiful place to run!

Erindale Park is located near Dundas and Missisauga road. It hugs the University of Toronto's Missisauga Campus (formerly Erindale Campus) and is a stone's throw away from the Mississauga golf and country club. The park is bifurcated by the Credit River which lends to the spectacular natural beauty of this place. You almost forget you're in a city populated almost entirely by customized Honda Civics and urban sprawl. I think it's a great place for a jog, a picnic, or "a wander" with a digital SLR. There are also built in BBQs for your convenience. And of course, because it's in Mississauga, there is a massive parking lot greeting you as you enter. Hurray! Obligatory Title Pun: Take a walk in the PARK! Menu Readability: Ain't no menus up in here. Need to mention: I wanted the FTR for this place but Myrem D beat me to it. To make it worse, her review is excellent. What this place teaches me about myself: Just playing, I love you Mississauga.
