I can't believe that I've NEVER been here before today!…read more I mean, YES, I've been inside the '70s Community Centre, but I have never, ever explored the park BEHIND the CC! The 2 main buildings hide tennis courts, soccer field, small splash pad, BBQ area, paved hiking trail along a creek, & of course, rolling hills 'cause we're in The Valleys after all. If you're here for a BBQ/hike, park BEHIND the Gymnasium, entrance is to the West of that building. Hiking/biking trail that is along the creek is - I'll say it - better maintained and prettier than Erindale Park. It was soo pretty to come here on an unusually warm Fall day because it rains leaves... Again, review is based solely on the outdoors of the park - specifically the trail along the water.

Erindale Park is located near Dundas and Missisauga road. It hugs the University of Toronto's Missisauga Campus (formerly Erindale Campus) and is a stone's throw away from the Mississauga golf and country club. The park is bifurcated by the Credit River which lends to the spectacular natural beauty of this place. You almost forget you're in a city populated almost entirely by customized Honda Civics and urban sprawl. I think it's a great place for a jog, a picnic, or "a wander" with a digital SLR. There are also built in BBQs for your convenience. And of course, because it's in Mississauga, there is a massive parking lot greeting you as you enter. Hurray! The park is in Oakville that kind of 1 hr from Toronto. The traffic today was not too bad, we followed GPS to a resident area that saying not able to access the park from there, we parked the car across the street, and walked along the trails. However, we walked about 30 mins, we got to a parking lot again that stating this one is the Lions Valley Parking Lot. That means the one we entered from was part of the park. But not the main entrance. Since we don't have too much time today, we couldn't finish the whole park visiting. If we can have a better sign to show the park from the difference entrance, that would be much better.

There are clean bathroom right at the entrance, the staff maintains the park very well even provide dog bags. There are easy to ready maps everywhere. Terrain: there are different trails that range in various levels of difficulty. The front entrance map provides a details overview of the trail. Some routes are accessible, since do have narrow paths and are more challenging. The park it self features trails, fountains, bridges overlooking falls, multiple look out points, streams & plenty of shade. It's beautiful in the spring, summer & fall. Highly recommend coming by early and enjoying a calming stroll.

what a view this park offers, seriously a killer view that doesn't look like it would be Toronto at…read moreall (see photos). this short but sweet park, is attached to the Humber river which offers kayak and canoeing services during the summer time. this is one of my favorite parks to come to in the fall months to catch all of the trees turning colors, this park is rarely visited, so you will never have to deal with people, runners, or joggers getting in the way. transit options are the old mill subway station on the bloor-danforth line, and this park has lots of parking if you chose to come and drive here. if you are coming to this park via the subway station, you have to go down a big set of stairs, which is no problem going down, but climbing all the way back up is not fun at all. definitely worth your time to come see this park.

This is a nice clean park with a washroom facility, picnic areas that you can rent, trails and…read morebridges. We came here with our toddlers for a fall hike and really enjoyed the easy trail. The park is nestled in a residential area and easy to get to. There are no parking fee or admission fee. The bridge is nice and the single trail connects to the Credit Valley Conservation research facility. We walked till the trail ended and turned back. It wasn't busy when we went on a Sunday afternoon and you can go off the main trail to get up close to the water where some people were fishing. There is a playground that stems off the trail, you have to go up a flight of stairs, and it leads you to a residential area. I didn't like the playground as the ground was covered in sand rather than the usual woodchips. This is a small park that is close by, the walk is pretty flat so it was great for my toddlers. We would definitely go back and go on the trail all year round.

The view was just from the point of entry. We went around 5.00 there and i wish they had informed that the park was closed. Because when the person at the counter issued the ticket the only information given was that this ticket is valid for 2 other trails until 7.30 for the same day. We wasted $32 CAD (since two cars went together) Just to see a view at the entrance. It felt like a rip off.
