Cooper goose watching and me admiring the view.

Some of my fondest memories from growing up is my Dad taking my brother and I to Jack Darling park to be near the water and climb on the insanely large rocks. Update: the rocks are not as big as I once remembered them being, but the view of the city still amazes me every time. I fell more in love with this park a few years ago when we brought our dog for a walk. There are a few large off-leash dog parks within Jack Darling which are really great because they act more as trails vs. a giant square to stand in. Outside of those, the paths along the waterpark are so lovely to walk on. The path extends into Rattray Marsh which is nice when you want to walk deeper into nature but a warning to dog walkers, it's mostly boardwalk! The beach areas have been quite clean when I've visited, and people definitely took advantage of them this past summer. This park is used primarily for gatherings and picnics, and is often quite the busy spot. The reason for my four star review is parking. I get it, it's a public park and we want more park than lots, but parking can be so horrendous here. I've driven down and had to turn around and go home *insert sad puppy dog eyes here* It would almost be better if you could make a reservation online and be in the park for a certain amount of time? Maybe that takes the fun out of it.

Beautiful park along the water! You can see the Toronto Skyline in the distance from the lake and there's also a hiking trail as well. I went during the weekday so it wasn't too busy and was pretty quiet. Apparently it gets pretty busy on the weekends though. The park also has a BBQ area but it might be by permit only since I saw a sign posted of the parties who had reserved the area by permit. This spot would be perfect for a date/picnic, especially during the warm summer months. It makes a great gathering area for family friendly activities as well!

A really wonderful place to enjoy the beauty of the nature. Nice sandy beaches, stony cliffs, green fields, nice long wooden trail.... beautiful!! It also has play areas for children and benches facing the lake to relax and enjoy the nature. Getting parking spot during weekends and in the late afternoon/evening can be quite hard

This is a beautiful park in Mississauga that is the envy of other cities bordering Lake Ontario. It has old school charm. At the end of the beach where we were, there is evidence of a boat launch from a past that didn't include a glorious public spot like Jack Darling Memorial Park. The monster homes don't run right up the waters edge here. Instead, there is a cluster of mature shade trees lovingly draping over the water letting your eyes and mind relax with the beautiful bay view greeting you there. Off in the distance, oh, who cares about what is in the distance anyway? instead look around, there are geese and swans swimming right up the people wading in the water, some fully clothed lured by the clear blue warm water. Worth the detour!

My husband and I went here for an afternoon stroll and I could say this is one of Mississauga's hidden gems for great parks to spend family time. There are spots for group parties and there is an adjoining trail to some nearby parks along Lakeshore. Nice area to bring a bike as well where you could sit and enjoy the cozy breeze.

We didn't spend much time at the park when we went since it a cold, winter day. I'd like to come back when it's warmer so that I can enjoy more of the park and not speed walk from one end to the other in an attempt to see more but spend less time outdoors.

Love this park. Perfect getaway. Beautiful in every weather and season. There are multiple parking areas for this park. The rattray marsh trail can be taken from here. Multiple beautiful spots to view the skyline. Definitely crowded most of the time yet social distancing can be maintained.

This is the one of my favourite places in my to go list. Pros: - if you like book reading there are lots of places to hide yourself or you like view to enjoy along the nature. -cycling - Running -Yoga -Family place -kids play area -car park/ Bike park -ice cream vendor -Hot dog vendor - Open BBQ for public utility Jack Darling Memorial Park is one of the best place for families for get together. Weekends are highly pack no easy parking available for bikes or car. Cons: Very few times we get the parking space available but yes you get the ticket of 30$ if you park outside the or any unassigned parking place. Anyways it's nevertheless a worth goto place. Now how can we go there one take Hurontario st. North and lakeshore west after passing 6 set of lights you will see entrance on your left. Big land mark is the stone on the entrance engraved JAC DARLING MEMORIAL PARK. I dont know what else to write but sure you will like it try and explore take your food with you if you like food eating out.

This is quite the nice park. It gives room for family get togethers (with barbecue grills), places to watch the waves crash in along the rocky shore and access to the Waterfront Trail if going for a stroll is what you are looking for. The park does get extremely busy however.

Great view of Lake Ontario and Toronto skyline. Lots of parking. Two playgrounds for children. Nice trail along the waterfront.

Wow... Unlike many parks, lot of time and effort put into this dog park. Nice variety for the animal and human.

Erindale Park is located near Dundas and Missisauga road. It hugs the University of Toronto's Missisauga Campus (formerly Erindale Campus) and is a stone's throw away from the Mississauga golf and country club. The park is bifurcated by the Credit River which lends to the spectacular natural beauty of this place. You almost forget you're in a city populated almost entirely by customized Honda Civics and urban sprawl. I think it's a great place for a jog, a picnic, or "a wander" with a digital SLR. There are also built in BBQs for your convenience. And of course, because it's in Mississauga, there is a massive parking lot greeting you as you enter. Hurray! Obligatory Title Pun: Take a walk in the PARK! Menu Readability: Ain't no menus up in here. Need to mention: I wanted the FTR for this place but Myrem D beat me to it. To make it worse, her review is excellent. What this place teaches me about myself: Just playing, I love you Mississauga.
