The woman who answers the phone and works the front desk (I'm not sure if it's the same person) has consistently been rude, curt, and lacking basic customer service skills. It makes the entire experience uncomfortable and unwelcoming. Additionally, despite advertising leather cleaning services, they refused to take in a leather item, which was frustrating and confusing. I was told to pick it up at a certain time, but due to some sort of miscommunication, by the time I arrived the store had already closed early because of the holiday. Since Thanksgiving was the very next day, I figured I was out of luck and started mentally preparing to find a different dress to wear. I called the store anyway and somehow managed to get in touch with the owner. He explained that they had closed early because of Thanksgiving, which I completely understood. But when I told him my situation, he did something I absolutely did not expect. He said he was about 40 minutes away, but insisted on turning around and coming back to the store just so I could get my dress. He drove all the way back, opened the shop for me, and then had to drive another 40 minutes again afterward. I honestly couldn't believe it. That level of customer service is incredibly rare these days. He went so far out of his way to help me, especially right before a major holiday. Truly 10/10 service. It took about 3 weeks and i picked it up the day before the wedding. So when wedding day came, i noticed it looked like there was no adjustments made on her dress. More than an inch of extra material and to me, it looked the same as when i brought it in. Again, had no choice so she wore it. But i spent over $300 in services and it was a bit underwhelming. I do want to add that my dress was done excellent and even if it was "difficult to deal with", it was very well hemmed. I probably would not return because it wasnt the closest to me, and the experience was just alright. Not terrible, but not the greatest.
