Can I give them 10 stars please? It was wonderful. We got there just at 6pm, literally RIGHT before a dinner rush. The place is small, but big enough so you aren't super crowded. We ordered several dishes, rice, naan, and drinks. At first, the service was kind of slow, but after that it was a deluge. Food was very tasty - I'm excited about it. The portions are bigger than other Indian places and there seems to be more of the protein than other places as well. We got butter chicken (as a tester), lamb rogan josh, eggplant bhartha, tandoori chicken, and palak paneer. It was all so good - when you just scrape the bottom of the bowl for the sauce only, you know it was tasty. The chai was good, but took forever and was a little pricey for what it is. They have a few Indian beers on hand and it's always interesting to try those. Parking is easy and it's and easy place to get to, and close to the border. read more

Would highly recommend stopping by here for some good eats with solid service and pricing. The service was fast and our waitress was so nice. She even had great recommendations for us on food and portion sizes of how to share, which helped a ton We got the Aloo Tikki with Chana Masala, a Paneer Tikka masala, Chicken Tikka Masala, Chicken Vindaloo and Lamb Korma. All the dishes were so good! We especially loved the Aloo Tikki with Chana Masala, this was by far my favorite dish of the night and the best Aloo Tikki I've had. Scored the lunch special menu with popular choices of lamb, butter chicken or veggie curry with rice and hot crisp edged, charred plain naan for $8-11. Butter chix, medium spice barely had bite so may need to be a bit more aggresive on spice level. Creamy with tender chicken it was good but missing slightly on spice complexity. Ordered with veg of day aloo matar/potato pea curry perfectly cooked not mushy with bright green peas. Such a deal, just $9.95 for the curry duo served in traditional hammered copper pots, naan and rice. Chai was lovely, hot and cardamom spiced and barely sweet, so easy to add more. Sat in the outdoor patio with 3 umbrellared tables. Dining room at end of strip mall is nicely disguised with warm hues as was bathroom, it roomy with newer black hex tile floor, half round sink, set farmhouse style. Waitress was pro, very courteous and formal, dressed in beautiful traditional tunic...details matter from heavier duty cutlery, thicker fiber napkins, 2 kinds of breath freshening fennel seed mixes (one I'd not seen with large white rock sugar?) All makes for a very relaxing spot and last meal before leaving Beautiful BC for a long 6hr commute to Oregon. On checkout, noted a few bottles of wine on the counter too if not for the drive. I gotta say. This place keeps going downhill. New owners? Our meal was not hot, even considering pick up. The Naan bread was definitely not fresh, as it was dried out. Never had it like that before. I recently ordered food from here through door dash and I have to this is some of the best tasting authentic Indian food I've eaten in a while. The flavours a rich and the plain and garlic naan bread were to die for soft and you can tell it's freshly baked rather than microwaved and chewy like with most takeout places. My only reason for not giving them four stars was for the packaging. Unfortunately our very delicious sauce spilt and all the other packages were ruined with the spilt sauce. The second reason was they were quite stingy with the amount of chicken, shrimp and lamb in our various sauces. I understand that with the pandemic and through these door dash services restaurants may have to cut a few corners for savings. So it might be an even more amazing experience eating in. My recommendation will be to improve their takeout packaging. The food is 5 stars for sure! read more

We, the two foodies, yelped this place for dinner as we were on our way home to Vancouver after running an errand in Langley. The food was super flavourful and fresh!! Not heavy like most punjabi food. The quality of food is definitely not something you would expect to find at a small restaurant in a strip mall nearby a highway. The service was very friendly too. Two dishes the are must haves would be the Paneer Chili Dry and the Mango Chicken! Oh so good! Their other dishes are good as well but these two just were at the top of the list for me! Probably the worst of the worst Indian food we all have ever eaten. We ordered a lot and no one ate! I am going to warn you! You will thank me later on. We ordered Butter chicken- too little chicken swimming in sauce that was bland with no flavour. Same thing for the Buttered Prawns but this time, for $17- you get tons of shrimp compared to the butter chicken one. Again, the sauce was too bland. Chicken tandoori was hard and chewy- Chana masala was DISGUSTING! How can you go wrong with a chick pea dish? We ordered 4 other dishes- what a waste!!! We have been to this place a couple of times, most recently on our way back from Whistler vacation last week. The lady was very accommodating even though we came in very close to their 2.30 pm closing time, and food was as delicious as on our previous visit. Best Indian food I've ever eaten, and I've had a lot. I worked in the same parking lot for a couple years and their butter chicken lunch special was deadly and a crazy good deal. They make it all the way from zero spice to extra extra extra spicy. I've tried a bunch of places but if you're looking for authentic, high end Indian food this is the place to go. The owners are friendly and the portions are decent. This is a really good place if you're with a group too because you can order a bunch of stuff and share it all. Food was really good, prices were reasonable - service was very slow there was only one sever working and the restaurant was 75% full. Great size portions. We came with an infant and needed to change him but there wasn't a changing table available on the washroom which was inconvenient. Homely punjabi food. We ordered aaloo tiki, veggie biryani and matar paneer. They ran out of Tikkis and gave us some pakoras instead. I have been ordering food for several years from Rasoi. I absolutely love Indian food, and I think this is the best in the lower mainland. The owners are a husband and wife team of Salinder and Harpreet. The food is always perfect. They have helped me out by adding extra sauce when I have more guests for no charge, and they always want you to try something you havent tried before so they give you free samples.
