Despite the gloomy weather, we had a great time! Loved the decor of the place, and the windows overlooking the bay, the cute flowers and lanterns on each table and the presentation of the food itself. The pakoras were plenty amd perfect to have with the mocha and masala chai. We were stuffed already! The Bombay Masala toast was heavenly. Toasted to a nice crispness and could see the butter shining on top. The panner chili filling was really good and close to what we get in Mumbai. The owner was really nice and we had a long chat with her about the place and White in general (since we're new) Plenty of parking outside.

The paneer was so hard that our fork actually broke trying to cut through it. The vegetarian Manchurian was even worse -- it was so sweet that it tasted more like a dessert than a savoury dish. We usually don't waste food and always try to adjust, finish it, or add some sauces to make it more enjoyable. But unfortunately, these dishes were just not edible enough, especially the vegetarian Manchurian. It was such a waste of time travelling all the way there only to end up with food we couldn't enjoy. Restaurant has a lot seating area and service was good. Definitely a very disappointing experience.

The wait staff were more concerned with talking amongst themselves than they were with helping customers. The restaurant seems a bit backward when you enter (it's deceptive). The owner is incredibly kind, welcoming, and genuinely cares about his customers. We ordered the saag paneer, methi chicken, and butter naan, and every dish was absolutely delicious. The butter naan was soft, fluffy, and fresh, pairing perfectly with both curries. The saag paneer was rich and flavorful, while the methi chicken was beautifully spiced and cooked to perfection. We also enjoyed the salty lassi and chai. My parents especially loved the chai, it had the perfect blend of cardamom and ginger, making it both aromatic and comforting. We will definitely be back!

It was Friday night ~7pm and this place and huge and quite empty. We thought this might be a sign that this place is not good but we were soooo wrong. We could not understand the menu so we had to ask the servers to give us recommendations and they were really nice. We ended up ordering a "stuffed potato naan", a lamb curry and a samosa chaat street food dish. And man they were delicious. I've never had a stuffed nan before and it's just so flavorful I have no words to describe it. The dipping sauce that came with it were amazing as well. The lamb curry was also good, but I know how curry tastes so it wasn't as surprising to me. The samosa chaat was very flavorful, spicy and the samosa adds a very nice crunch. This place is really good and I am craving for more as I'm writing this
