They let a stranger use my id to attempt to open an account. So they do not properly check id or faces. And will just give you an email to contact there legal department. Extremely disappointing for a company that works with loans to do that. They even scanned my id on file. Which means they let someone who doesn't look like me try to use my name and credit. Money gram users beware. It's only a $1 to give a money gram but 6% when you go to cash it. This was not a very fun experience for me. Then they wanted to me fill out a form with my social security number on it just so I could get cash from the money gram. The whole thing was rather stupid and I think I'd like to never come back here again. The gal helping me did a decent job so that 1 plus for them. When I went to Rapid Cash for a loan, I was aware that there would be a finance charge but I certainly didn't think it would be so outrageous. After filling out the paperwork, an employee asked if I'd take a survey because congress was trying to get a bill passed that would get rid of loan centers. I was in desperate need of a loan and took the survey while waiting to be approved. Only AFTER taking the survey and being given a $465 loan, was I informed that I'd be expected to pay back OVER $700. So, $132.65 was deducted out of every paycheck but what I didn't expect were some other surprises with my utilities. When you're a single parent or have a spouse that's unemployed for the moment, these surprises are the last thing you need. I've had loans from other places that weren't quite as outrageous with their finances as Rapid Cash. My advice for all, no matter how bad things may seem, AVOID getting a loan from Rapid Cash at all costs! It's not worth the headache at all!! read more

This place wasted my time and did not get my permission to check my credit information when I already told them I don't need installent loan but instead they still checked it without my knowledge the reason why is because I'm in the process of fixing my credit. Unfortunately there's no place here to put zero Stars because that's exactly what I would have done Rapid Cash contacted me by phone saying I was approved for a loan I went to their office filled out the paperwork was told I'd receive a call back in 15 minutes an hour later I called them they stated they couldn't give me any information over the phone I had to come back in I went back in and was informed my loan was declined because they could not verify my identification which I had on me not only my ID state issued my social security number government issued and any other documents they wanted I had yet was denied do to them being unable verify my identity I would like to add to this that I also have excellent credit and was just going to see what the offer entailed so these people obviously don't want to loan anyone money to anyone guess I should have read the reviews first read more

So a couple weeks ago, I went in to use the ATM. I was with two of my friends that night and I didn't want to leave them in the car so they came in with me. I was using the ATM minding my own business when I felt something hitting my knee. I looked down and saw that the little door on the bottom of the ATM was open. It looked like there was another, more secure, passcode-locked door behind this one so I don't even know why it was a big deal. But since I didn't plan on stealing any money from the ATM, this open door didn't really matter to me so I just went back to my business using the machine. My friend then also noticed the door was open, so he reached down try to push it closed. Next thing I knew, we were getting yelled at by a lady behind the counter as she threatened to have the police called on us if we didn't leave immediately. My friends and I were scared half to death and I frantically scrambled to get my card out of the machine. Since she made this scene in the middle of my withdrawal process, (luckily I had not confirmed anything yet so I didn't lose or even transfer any money) my card was still locked in there. I was panicking so I yelled "my card is still in there!" And she said "well get it out and then leave" so I cancelled the transaction, took my card, and left. I was sweating, my heart was pounding and I was more angry than I had been in a long time. My friends and I should not have suffered the fear that that situation brought upon us because of someone's lack of willingness to do their job and close the door. If they have security cameras, I hope they checked them and came to the realization that me and my friends are innocent. I also hope they looked back at the security feed to see who failed to close the door and had a long talk with them because I am not happy with how my first AND LAST trip to this Rapid Cash went. read more
