For $13.99, I had the Taco Joe plate--4 street tacos with rice and beans. They were out of the chicken in black chile sauce, so I tried the beef in black chile and the bistek con chile (red pepper steak) tacos. Both were very delicious, but the black chile sauce was a standout. It was unique--and hard to pinpoint the flavors. The tacos were so substantial, I couldn't finish the plate. We also had chips and salsa with their hottest sauce, the creamy green. It was pretty hot, so be warned. My boyfriend had the torta, which was massive. It had a generous amount of avocado too, which was a nice touch. They brought out complimentary chicharrones (the vegan kind). It looks like they expanded their restaurant, but one of the employees told us that they're planning on downsizing. It's a shame, because this is a solid place for Mexican.
