Ordered Mango and Salt Lassis and Chai, followed by Grilled Chicken Platter (Kevab, Boti, Achari, Hariyali, and Tandoori), Tandoori Pomfret, Amritsari Chole, Sarson da Saag and Makki ki Roti, Aloo Kulcha, and Bread Basket (Naan, Garlic Naan, and Tandoori Roti). Service was friendly and excellent, food arrived promptly and was fresh, hot, and flavorful. Meats and fish were very tender and wonderfully marinated. Ramandeep visited out table and diver a while chatting about family, food, and NYE event at the restaurant. Overall the meal for gourmet set us back $124, including a healthy tip. Raahi has been a pleasant surprise in the neighborhood with consistently good food and standout breads. Their butter chicken is easily one of the best in town--rich, balanced, and comforting. The tandoori soy chaap is excellent, and the veg Kolhapuri was another highlight on earlier visits. Not everything hits the mark, though. The sarson da saag with makki di roti was disappointing and not something I'd recommend. Update (Aug 2025): It looks like the kitchen team has changed. Some of the curries, especially the Kolhapuri, have really declined in flavor--leaning heavily on chili powder without the depth or balance they once had. I'll give them another try before writing them off, but it's a noticeable step back. read more

They have a nice methai/Indian sweets variety to choose from, which was a nice touch. Ambiance was lovely. Service was okay. Wouldn't recommend this place due to the food being mediocre. I'm always happy to discover a new Indian food spot. The interior is more upscale with a spacious dining room and comfortable, stylish chairs. The service was quick and the staff was attentive. They offer a lunch buffet but we opted to order of the menu. We started off with their vegetable samosas which had a nice, crispy crust and were flavorful. We had goat curry and chicken tikka masala. The food was delicious and full of flavor. They also had an extensive list of cocktails/cocktails to choose from. I enjoyed the cucumber spritzer and got to sample the passion fruit colada....very well made. I will definitely be back. read more

Amazing Indian food with upscale ambience and food that is reasonably priced. Beautiful interiors great for large groups and small parties as well. Haven't found any Indian food since moving to Texas- and this is by far the best Indian food place I've ever been to. The customer service was AMAZING- and the restaurant is beautiful! Best Tikka Masala ever- Chilli Paneer was incredible- And the Pasanda was life changing, absolutely delicious- definitely don't skip out on desert, it was INCREDIBLE. Best Indian food I have had in a long time. We tried the paneer and Veggie Samosas. They were perfectly cooked and the sauces were both delicious. We tried the Gobi appetizer and it was delicious as well. We had the portabella mushroom curry and we could not get enough. The spices were perfect and there was just enough spice. We also had the lamb kebab and the was spicy and delicious. Rahua was our server and he was very attentive and friendly. We will definitely be back. Raahi was absolutely amazing! The restaurant is beautiful, the ambiance both relaxing and welcoming. Vino was a delight, everything was perfect and came out super fast. He was very friendly and made our visit feel like we'd been coming here forever! The food was fantastic. We had the chicken 65, veg samosas, chicken korma, dahi puri and rasmalai and all of it was absolutely stellar. The rasmalai is a favorite of mine and did not disappoint! Went here on a Saturday and the decor was nice. Food was good. We got naan, paneer butter masala, butter chicken and chicken samosas and paneer tikka. Paneer tikka was not bad, chicken samosas were not good but the outside was flaky and nice. The paneer butter masala and butter chicken along with the naan were really good. My only complaint is the service. The staff was really nice however there was quit a bit of wait on everything. When we arrived we were waiting a long time to be seated because no one was in the front. I think you have to keep in mind this seems to be family run business so I don't think they have hired a full wait staff. I really wish they would because I think service is so important to a restaurant if you want it to be successful. I was excited to try this place. But my first and last time here. We went in for dinner. No one was there at the front to attend. One person showed up after a few mins and took us to the table. It was dinner time and there was only one party seated inside, the rest of the place was empty. The food was fine- nothing to write home about, but nothing to complain about either. Pricy for the portion size and quality. Our appetizers arrived before our drinks! No matter what was the sequence of our food order or what was ordered first, the staff kept bringing things at random times. Why one star review? Here is the reason- Our server made the entire experience feel like a sarcastic improv show that none of us auditioned for. From the start, he acted like answering basic questions was a personal burden. He constantly kelp being sarcastic, rude and didn't have a basic sense of talking to the customer. He wasn't absent. He wasn't slow. He was just consistently rude, in that dry, sarcastic way that makes you wonder if it's a joke- except it never stopped being unfunny. Food: 3/5 Service: 0/5 Attitude: 10/10 if you're into being lightly insulted with your entrée. Who cares if they have an expensive interior and good ambiance if their staff is not welcoming and lacks basic customer service skills? Not sure how much they care about their customers but they lost one for sure and probably many others because I will not be recommending this place to anyone. And unfortunately if they don't train their staff to be polite, not sure how long they will last in this tough market. This was our first visit and we enjoyed everything about our experience. The Tandoor chicken was very tasty but considerably different than most other places offering the same type of chicken. The other two dishes were both excellent but very spicy. I suggest that if you are new to Indian cuisine asked them to tone it down just a little. Thereafter I waited for 15 minutes without any server coming and offering drinks and taking an order. This, when the restaurant was not busy with about 3 tables with customers. Went there for the first time this evening. We ordered the Paneer Chilli for an appetizer. And we ordered Butter Chicken, Chicken Chettinad, and Chicken Vindaloo with Garlic Naan as the main courses. And each of had a Mango Lassi to drink. The food was all excellent, good portions (ended up having to take some home), and service was quick. The atmosphere is very nice, clean, and more up-scale than most. The only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is our waiter wasn't particularly friendly. He wasn't rude or anything. Just was a little "dry", and could have made it a better first impression for us. And water at the table was just luke-warm tap water in a jar (you could taste it). Would have made a noticeable difference to have clean cold water. But all in all, very very good, and we'll definitely be back. read more

As this is a somewhat new restaurant, we (my wife and I) only heard about it recently. After viewing the menu (online), we tried it at lunch while we were in the area. The restaurant was not busy when we arrived so service was very prompt. Since we are vegetarians, we ordered vegetable pakoras, malai kofta, channa masala and butter naan. The pakoras were not the usual fried pieces of vegetable, rather, they were a mixture of various chopped vegetables bound together by the chickpea flour and fried in the shape of a fritter. They were very tasty and the coriander/mint chutney was excellent. The main dishes arrived with the rice and butter naan (very nicely done with lots of butter on the surface). The malai kofta was great with a nice level of heat and a wonderful, creamy sauce that also went well with the pakoras. The channa masala was very good, the soft chickpeas worked very well with the spices and the heat level was acceptable. Both dishes were extremely well received by us. The service was good, the dishes were hot and tasty, and the overall ambiance of the restaurant was nice. If you're looking for a nice vegetarian dining experience, it's definitely worth a try - the next time we go, I'll definitely try the paneer tikka masala. Plus, the non-vegetarian options appear to be plentiful. read more
