Hubs and I ordered takeout from the Randolph Cafe the last time we were in town and dying for a pizza and a Greek salad. The pizza has a traditional crust and made with a homemade tomato sauce. I'm not a huge fan of Greek-style pizzas, so this is the place for me! We also split a large Greek salad that was more than enough for two people to share with lots of feta (so if you're not a fan of feta cheese, I would recommend asking them to take it easy on the cheese), two pieces of pita, and a homemade Greek creamy dressing. Totally awesome. Our total bill was $17! The staff was extremely friendly when we went to pick up our food and found the restaurant to be clean and well-kept. I have only been too Randolph Cafe a couple of times but it was good each time. A fairly standard pizza/sub shop. They have recently remodeled the inside order area. I work in town and they offer a discount so I like to give then my business as much as possible. As far as take out in Randolph is concerned this place is probably your best bet. Unless you want Chinese food or Hot pot. There steak tip salad is very good. There pizza is decent. They put a onion in my sub and gave me an attitude like I was wrong. This isn't the first time either. I really dislike onions. It seems like they don't clean either their grill top or their knives in between because I'm always finding one or two onions in ever sub for the past two years. This is definitely my new favorite pizza place! I ordered a large pizza with salami and mushroom. The pizza was cooked perfectly (i asked for well done), there was plenty of cheese and toppings, the onion rings were hot and crispy, and I'm pretty sure even the blue cheese dressing was homemade! If I had to criticize something, I'd say the lack of an online ordering system kinda sucks. I live in an area with bad cell reception so telling the girl my card number over the phone was tough. OMG. What customer service!! I have been ordering from Randolph Cafe for over 17 years and today was THE LAST!!!! I called to place an order, paid for it via cc. Then, I realized that I had a coupon...so I called back to say that...they said, "Oh i ran it through already, sorry, you should have told me before you place your order." So I hung up but after spending $42 the least they could do is grant me the coupon, but nope. I called back to cancel, was on hold, and was told, " That is horrible, we started making the food. You will never be able to order from here again!" LOL. I have plenty of other options. THAT was THE WORST customer service I HAVE EVERRRRRR received. These days with this pandemic and all else going on...give me a break. Shoot, if anything I should get a discount for being a loyal customer. I stepped in this afternoon and wanted a hot sub of half sausage, half meatball. Just boring to eat a whole 12" sub of just meatball or just sausage. Food is decent, although I am not a huge fan of the pizza. Food is very objective, so it just doesn't suit my particular taste. Poor service but good food. I was denied food after a delivery driver failed to deliver me my food. He claimed to have knock on my door and call. I have no calls or voices from the pizza place and he never knocked on my door. I have 2 other witness to this. We used to order from here very frequently because of the boneless chicken and pizza, they used to really care about the quality of there food and their customer service, But lately they sound very stressed and the quality of their food has serious declined. I liked their food but their service is the worst. I have never had such a bad experience. On numerous occasions they have been rude at the counter and today I called to place an order they hung up on me after I said hello. I call back and I mention that to her and she says "is this for pick up or delivery" and totally ignores what I had to say and I said forget it. My 4 brother and their girlfriends no longer give them business due to bad service. I am now added to that list. That is what I get for not listening. My fiance swears by this place. We live in Randolph and it is hard to find good food here. We come here several times a month because there are constant weekly specials. The staff are very friendly and always patient with your selection because there is just so much to choose from. The food tastes amazing, and the service is so fast. Food is usually ok and prompt. Customer service is hit or miss. I order from here while at work several times a month out of convenience. . One woman there is absolutely wonderful. There is a younger gal who works there and is not super friendly and seems aggravated to have to answer the phone and take your order. If the online menu says a meal is served with a salad, it should be served with a salad. I inquired about this and was told, oh, yeah they need to update the menu online, and was never offered the salad although it was their mistake..... Randolph cafe hasn't disappointed me in probably the last few years. Their best dinner is the grilled chicken but their wings and fingers are good too.
