I know, I know, Randalls is an expensive grocery store. But when you consider it's closest to me and the money I save on driving to the nearest HEB and the sanity I save from not battling crowds, it's worth it. Plus if you've got a Randalls Card (they're free) and if you shop here regularly, you get stuff back! Over the holidays, they had a cookware give away. Earn so many points by shopping there and you can just walk outta the store with really nice skillets, pots, and roasting pans. Also I love the gas savings. For awhile there, they would accrue your savings and I got gas for (wait for it......) $.95 a gallon the other day. I saved $.70 a gallon, bitches! Woop! This particular location also has my bank in it with an ATM, a gelato bar (the caramel pecan is to. die. for.), a deli with housemade sammiches, an olive bar, and a Starschmucks stand. All the staff are super friendly and altho it's a little creepy to have them look at my receipt and say "thank you, ms. so and so", I understand the desire to make the store seem like your local down home grocer. And I think for the most part, everyone is genuine in there niceties there. Obviously I spend a lot of money there (got 3 pots and big discount on gas as mentioned) and it's nice to be recognized by most and welcomed. And finally a word on the actual groceries. I have only had one instance of not finding something I wanted (needed actually) and it was one of their products, the Eating Right Orange Water. They got me hooked on this stuff (it is just orange flavored water, but with caffeine) and then stopped producing it for awhile. But the manager called HIS manager and splained the hold up to me and now it's back on the shelf. Now I don't have to drink that crack Mountain Dew anymore (it's coloring is fluorescent....NOT found in nature.....can't be good for you.....but, yet, it is addicting....sigh....need MD 12 step program and Orange Water is the 1st step. Thanks Mr Randall!). read more

There are a good many things to like about this Randall's (and the chain in general), but so many of those reasons just have to do with it's location and the poor availability of grocery stores in the area around it. I will say it's a nice, clean store. It's next closest competitors are the HEB at 620 and Anderson Mill, the SuperTarget at 183 and Lakeline and the Walmart SuperCenter at 620 and Lakeline. All those places are overgrown and a few miles further than this Randall's, so it's a lot more convenient than it's competitors. I have a few problems with the store though and so I take my business elsewhere in all but the most dire of circumstances. Here are a few: - Randall's card: Seriously, I think they'd do better if they just gave people the stuff at a good price. Or give it to at a high price.. But don't make it sound like it's a screaming deal with the Randall's card when the reduced price takes from $9.47 to $4.99 because HEB probably has it for $4.49 without the hassle. Sure it's not that big of a deal to swipe it at the register or punch in a phone number. But folks eventually forget to do that and a $50 bill of groceries can become $60 or $65 pretty quickly. - Lite/Fat Free items: I'm starting to get to the point in my life where metabolism has slowed a little. Gone are the days of an existance on frozen burritos topped with a can of chili. So, the wife and I have been a little more health-conscious as of late. Despite the appearance of a large store, this Randall's has a pathetically small selection of low fat or fat free items. It's a relatively recent change, but one that has definitely been noticed. - Pricing schemes: I've saved my biggest complaint with the store until the end. I've noticed it the most on their canned soft drinks, but it extends to other items as well. A normal store just sells a 12-pack at a price somehwere in the neighborhood of $2.49 - $3.49. Randalls will sell at at $4.99 and then obscure the price with something like "Buy 3, get 3 free". So, unless you want to take home 72 cans of soda, you get the shaft. And they're pretty indignant when go back into the store to return a 12-pack because it was too expensive. So, watch the prices carefully. So, if need to just get something for a meal, Randall's is the closest place for a lot of neighborhoods in southern Cedar Park, but watch the prices and take your Randall's card. But for the rest of your grocery needs, I would go almost anywhere but here. BR read more

I had a prescription filled at this location and that was the first mistake. I went back to pick up my prescription and was informed they only had 15 of the 30 pills available. Because I was leaving on a trip the next day I said that would be ok even though I felt they should have informed me earlier. When I went to pay for the medication it was more than it should be. After I argued they said it was because I was not getting 30 pills. I pushed back reminding him that it was his stores fault as I wanted 30 and it was because he only had 15 it was their fault not mine. He said that is the way it is!!!! He was a total ass nd could care less. These folks are beyond rude and have no business dealing with the public in my opinion. read more

Worst Randall's ever. Acting store manager is insanely rude, and complaint line doesn't call loyal customers back when they voice their complaint. I'm an H.E.B. customer now. Never have been before but am now. read more

I like this Randall's because of the location. It's easy to get in and out, and it's never too crowded. Occasionally they don't have enough checkers, but that happens just about everywhere these days. Prices are a bit higher than other groceries, but I'm OK with that if it speeds things up. I also like that it's a voting location. There's always one or another kind of coffee on sale, so that's nice too. They have a zillion types of Chobani as well. read more

This review is for the bakery department: Last weekend I ordered a custom cake for my BF's bday. They did a fantastic job with the design I wanted, it came out better than I had expected! The cake itself was simple: white cake with real whipped cream. It was delicious! The cake was moist and dense, the flavor was on point. The whipped cream topping was made from scratch and it was perfect. Everyone loved the cake and had seconds! I ordered a custom cake last year and it was really good as well. The price is very goid, $18.99 for a large cake, with your choice of cake, frosting, and you can add a layer in the middle no charge (fruit, custard, whipped cream, etc). Both occassions it was ready on time. I've had other pastries and cookies from their bakery as well, and I have to say, it far surpasses HEB and Walmart! read more

Safeway, Dominick's (pour one out), Randall's....you're all the same. So nice and fancy inside but with such sky high prices. Oh but not sky high when you have your card. I suppose growing up and always going to HEB, Central Market and Whole Foods etc there's no need for a card to get awesome prices. We went here one evening because my husband wanted to go check it out. It's kind of a weird pastime for us to go check out grocery stores. This place reminded me so much of Dominick's in Chicago. They have everything you need. The only weird thing was it wasn't set up in the "traditional set up". Produce is so small and it seems to be tucked away in a corner. So weird. If you need a hot beverage when you shop there's a Starbucks kiosk. There's also a nice cafe area for eating or even comfy chairs just for sitting. We bought a couple of things and even bought a quick dinner to eat since we got hungry. Hubby opted for a hot sandwich and I got some soup. We paid for everything and had a quick seat in the cafe. We were both surprised and satisfied with our food choices. I like Randall's but like I said it's so pricey. It's always nice to visit though. read more

"No idea how this place is still in business" Just like every other Randall's in the Austin area. There is never anyone in there except on days where HEB shuts down. Great place to go if you just need to duck in and grab something while avoiding the crowds. Limited selection on organics, but it's to be expected. It is an odd duck, but I'm glad it's around for the times that it suits my needs. read more

Apparently this store cares nothing for those silly things printed on items called "expiration dates." I was there two weeks ago and found no less than 5 different products that were out of date. I don't mean by just a day or two, some of them by as much as 3 months! I picked up a bag of cheese mid-April that had expired the first week of January. Thinking it was a fluke, I picked up another. 6 BAGS OF 7 had expired 3.5 months earlier!!!! I can understand occasionally missing a bag here or there, but this is just downright incompetent. And cheese no less! Hope they carry a lot of insurance. I found multiple other items, yogurts, canned goods, MEAT that had expired 2 months prior. Thing is, I wasn't purposely looking for expired items, I happened to stumble across them. Quite disgusted, I decided to talk to the store manager about it. She couldn't have been more disinterested. She didn't look surprised when I told her, and didn't even feign worry or offer an apology. I decided I would never darken their doorstep again. Yesterday, in a pinch, I ran in to grab one item. THE ONE AND ONLY THING I PICKED UP EXPIRED A MONTH PRIOR! I took it to another manager and he said, "okay, thanks." If you value your health, I would stay FAR away from this store. Yuck. read more

PROS: Clean, bright, nice deli, Starbucks in-store. CONS: Expensive, sale prices are regular prices at H-E-B. Checkers and managers annoyed when you point out erroneous prices at checkout, and treat you like you're attempting to rob the store. There is never a "Sorry for the wait to confirm" or "Thank you for helping us correct this oversight." Worst yet, this problem occurs for me almost every time I shop there, which is why I seldom do. read more

I love their floral department! It's better than any florist in cedar park. Friendly and outstanding arrangements for the best price.

Been shopping Randall's since 2002. Recently moved to area. This store has twice this week scanned the wrong price. I noticed when I got home and looked at receipt, figured a easyistake. This time the lady at self check out at 5 PM 9/12 actually blamed ME for the wrong price... I am unsure what her problem is, but I know this store is completely unreliable.... good thing there is an HEB at almost every corner... Her attitude lost me as a lomg5standing customer read more

I like to shop here but it's kinda pricy without the Randall's card. The checkout ladies are great and friendly. Luv that they have a Starbucks inside. Bakery is great and the deli is great also. Beer prices are high without s sale. read more

Randalls - Great beer selection. Watch for good sales. - Grocery Near Me - Cedar Park, Texas

This store is close to our house so we go there often. The prices can be high if you don't have one of their store cards, defiantly worth having. There is also a mobile app that includes Just For You offers. The beer prices are high, but they sometimes run specials. Their meat is good, but you need to catch it on sale. Their produce is good. You don't want to complete your shopping list here, but it is nice for picking up some select things on sale. I like that it is rarely very busy so you have the run of the aisles, and there is plenty of parking. There is a Starbucks inside, which is a plus. read more

This store is usually really great. Their pharmacy is always outstanding. Sometimes their dairy products are expired, and on occasion their meat selection isn't that great (roasts especially can be a bad cut), but overall they're good. They have a wide variety, a great deli, and most of their employees are super friendly. read more

Really disappointing location. I shop here only when necessary since it's very close to home. Here's why: I've found more outdated food on this store's shelves than I've seen at all other stores combined in my life. What's more, this location isn't as clean and organized as others. However, the worst aspect of this location is the abysmal customer service, which can fluctuate from non-existent to borderline hostile. This location feels as though some family lackey manages it and only does so thanks to nepotism. Avoid this store and go a few miles north to the franchise in Leander; it's completely superior in every way. read more

Is there a decent pharmacy in Cedar Park? I'm writing this as I sit and wait for them to answer the hold. I've been waiting 23 minutes. No help! My husband left to drive down there. Maybe he'll get help faster that way. read more

This is for the flower department. I had my wedding bouquet arranged by Kelly and the group. She was wonderful, as well as her coworkers there. Go far in advance before your wedding so you could discuss your needs with them. My bouquet was not a super simple one... it required a ball holder, so they had to cut every flower from their stems and insert them into the holder. Looks like this from the top: http://www.artfire.com/uploads/product/1/491/25491/4125491/4125491/large/silk_flower_bridal_bouquet_stephanotis_real_touch_roses_with_feathe____ab47e614.jpg I used yellow roses, and I also used feathers. It was very pretty when it was done. The stephanotis were artificial ones from Michael's, and they worked with them anyway for me. Best part? The beautiful bouquet cost less than $60. Crazy, right? For a bridal bouquet! It would have been even cheaper if the holder was not required and I was okay with a tied bouquet. Anyways, highly recommended. read more

Wow, I actually like this store. Been going to this store for ten years. I actually find it refreshing to go to. I can find a place to park, produce is good and when I use the Randalls card and U Coupon I come out pretty darn good. It has had its problems with Randalls's opening up down the road and the stores they are having to close in places like Houston. Yes HEB has more but can't stand the parking or the number of people. If they would make the cafe area nicer and more comfy next to the fire place, I think more people would come in and relax. And they would buy something too. read more

I needed some extra help at the deli, and Jace provided excellent customer service. Friendly, helpful, and made some excellent suggestions with the chicken. I wish Jace worked at the delis in my hometown!! read more

This is by far the worst grocery store in the area, they refused to put checkers at the front registers, and their prices are terrible. I would recommend driving the extra mile and a half to go to H-E-B down the street. This is a terrible grocery store. read more

Randalls imo has a better variety than HEB. The meat market is above avg and their deli is really good. The issue? Their prices are 20% higher than HEB. And that is why we shop at HEB. read more

I want to like Randall's, I really do, but I just don't. When you compare quality in the bakery & deli areas, value and level of service, Randall's doesn't hold a candle to HEB. I might stop in when I need an item and I'm passing by, but I won't do my weekly shopping here. read more

over priced on just about everything, watch out for made-up "store policies" if you plan on using more than 5 coupons at once. front-end managers have zero customer service skills. read more

This store seems to be more of a wine & department store than a grocery store, especially since the wine and other non-food items take up about half the store. The store is generally clean and well-stocked, but it's not the place to find anything out of the ordinary. I go to other grocery stores to buy goods beyond the basics. read more

Randalls is close to my house, and that is that only reason I go there. Prices so high, not sure why they are still open. Yesterday we wanted a steak and their selection was awful, so I went to Krogers. You have to always check expiration dates, bakery items sometimes are 3-4 days old, who wants to spend $6.00 on 4 day old cookies. Most employees at the Randalls near me seem to hate their jobs and the managers never smile or speak to you. HEB and Kroger are worth the extra miles. read more

What I like about Randall's is that you can walk from one side to the other in less than a minute. You don't have shelves extending from the floor to the ceiling. And you don't have to go through automotive and mens wear to reach the grocery section. It's typically not very crowded...I don't have to wait often for self-checkout. And there is a 3 to 5 cent discount on the price per gallon of gas (with a Randall's card). The only downside is that some items are significantly cheaper at Wal-Mart. I haven't found too much difference in the prices at HEB. And if there is, the Randall's card can level the playing field for most items. read more

This Randalls is rarely crowded. You must use the Randalls app or frequent shopping program or you **will** overpay. The morning checkout staff are always quick and friendly. Unfortunately, each section of the store seems to be just a bit underdeveloped. Fish department pretty weak. There aren't a lot of ways to say 'average' -- but this store is just that. Primary reason I stop is the HEB at the end of Lakeline is on the border of 'bag-free' Austin and I've forgotten mine. read more

i love randalls and this one specifically. In general, i think the company gets a lot of flack for being pricey, but I don't think they get enough credit for their "remarkable" savings or their in store coupons. There are certain items i don't purchase there, but that would true for any grocery store. Customer service is top notch and far better than any around town. I'm a fan!! read more

The Bakery department needs some help! I see on the brochure and website, they do wedding cakes so I thought they would be able to do a nice, elegant cake for my parents 50th anniversary. I asked for baby blue, soft pastel colors and elegant. I ended up with bright green, brown and gray decoration colors! I will say the cake was good, but I was embarrassed for the way the cake looked. I was assured the manager, who was busy at the time, would call me...I have yet to hear from the manager. read more

I almost fed my toddler expired baby fruit product from this store. It was over 3 months past the expiration date. I just happened to look at the date as I was handing the fruit pouch to my son. I could not believe it, I had just purchased it that day. I used to like Randalls but after this experience I have and will not shop there. If they don't bother checking dates on products intended for consumption of young children, what does that say about the quality rest of their products. read more

You can definitely get good deals here, but you really need to search. Mostly everything is expensive.

This location is very pretty, clean and a decent selection. Has a Starbucks in the store and a pretty floral area. I did a demo here and the produce section is pretty big. Might not have a huge variety of organics, but at least the presentation is nice. The store had a nice health/pharmacy section and the layout of this store is easy. Again, this is a HEB type grocery store (that is now owned by Albertsons) and the clientele is primarily from those that live nearby.. read more

Your prices stink on just about everything. But you do carry 3 elusive items on my shoping list that keep me coming back every week. HEB does not carry these items or you'd lose me forever.
