Each time everyone has been super friendly, going above and beyond to chat about some of their favorite things to do around this area and/or chatting about whatever topic we land on. While stopping in for a drink or a sandwich it's, even in June, it's been great. There's lots of umbrellas or shade that allows for a nice cool mountain breeze to keep cool from the summer sun. Enjoying a coffee on their deck warrants for a great Mountain View. Last year I stopped by and got their coffee, and it was underwhelming; BUT we stopped by twice this year while visiting and it was a stellar improvement. I am very particular with my espresso/lattes and really enjoyed mine this time around! There are lots of choices of flavors, however, I think something that could really help improve the coffees even more would be some homemade syrup! Thank you Sip for a great time. Excited for the next time we see you.

My daughter had been there a few weeks ago and told me about the place. She got coffee and a chicken salad sandwich. There is a very nice place to sit that wraps around the back. She was impressed. They must be famous for the chicken salad sandwich as three people ahead of me ordered them. Well I came back Sunday morning. My wife and I shared a pecan caramel brownie. Really ready good. Sat outside at a table with a view. Now waiting for our next trip to Pine.

We were seated quickly and started deciding what we were going to order; drinks came fairly quickly, my Moscow Mule was good and gingery, the others had the brewery's own ale beer. Our server Americus was absolutely wonderful: as usual I explained my severe allergy to peppers in general and specifically any type of chile. She went inside to consult their "allergy" food list and came back with what I could safely eat. She's the only person ever, here in AZ, to have gone and double-checked the various dishes to keep me safe. Thank you so much Americus :)) We shared the fried green beans - deliciously crispy :) - with the wasabi mayonnaise dip for them; also had the onion rings that were nice and crispy, and although tempting to get a second order of appetizers ....we decided to go on to the mains. Mine was the Patty Melt on rye and fries, cooked medium rare as I like it, with onions on the side, the other orders were the Whisky Bacon burger that was looking very good as well, and another diner had a big salad - not sure which TBH because I was busy eating ...oops! The evening was nice and the patio had a few dogs: Yes, it is dog friendly !! We left sated, with replenished growlers, and looking forward to next time.

Huddled under an umbrella to wait for our chance to have empanadas. Love all the outdoor seating, drink selection, and friendliness of the staff. They recommended the Pumpkin Chai Empanada, and it was amazing! Get it before it's gone (seasonal)! What We Ordered: - Picadillo Beef: This was my boyfriend's selection and it said it was fine. He liked mine better, and would pick differently next time. - Bananas Foster: My boyfriend said it was pretty one note. All you could taste is caramelized sugar, and could not taste the banana. Due to that, it was too sweet and he ended up tossing. I detest bananas, so I didn't taste. - Red Chili Beef: This was delicious and perfect to pair with the chimichurri sauce to give it more heat and some veggies. I really liked this one, and definitely would order again. - Pumpkin Chai (Seasonal): OMG! This is amazing! Tastes like a pumpkin pie and absolutely delicious. Perfect pumpkin flavor with sweetness. Stop by for forest views and tasty empanadas if you are in the Strawberry, Arizona area.

After one bite, I realized I've been wasting years of my life eating at McDonald's and the Payson Burger King. McDonald's and Payson Burger King aren't even playing the same sport. The location was really nice and open with a patio, and the inside was spacious without the tables being packed together. Plenty of room to sit back and actually enjoy your meal. I went with the ribs, and they were smoked just right--exactly how I like them. Honestly, they didn't even need BBQ sauce. I ate some with just the rub and some with sauce, and both ways were delicious. The mashed potatoes were so good I should've ordered more. The mac and cheese wasn't overly creamy, which was perfect for me, and I can't forget the Caesar salad. Really good Caesar salad, and one thing I always appreciate--serve it on a cold plate. This one came out nice and cold and was super fresh. Overall, really good BBQ, great sides, and a nice comfortable location. Definitely worth the stop if you're in Payson.

From the upper lot cottages, it was only 0.1 miles away, so we booked for both convenience and being intrigued by the menu. What We Ordered (Night One): - Caprese: Beautifully seasoned and loved the freshness of the tomatoes. Definitely one of the best I've had in Arizona. - Clementine Spritz: Delightfully refreshing and a delicious orange flavor. How good was it? I'd end up ordering three across both meals. - Ritual Spritz (non-alcoholic): Our attentive server realized my boyfriend wasn't drinking, so we admitted he didn't like it and she took away while removing from the bill. He remarked he didn't like the botanicals they added to it. - Rack of Lamb (Special): Requested to be cooked on the rarer side, and it was perfection! My boyfriend let me try first bite, and I'm normally not a fan of lamb but this was decadent! Love the rosemary jus, and it was the best tasting lamb I've ever had! My boyfriend was over the moon, and as Gen Z says "no notes." - Pollo Marsala: Love the flavor of the Marsala wine in this as it was not subtle like some you get at other restaurants. Very rich flavor, and juicy chicken to pair with the pasta and veggies. Loved this dish and it was the catalyst for us making a reservation the next day. - Limoncello Cake: I was so full, but took one bite and it was very delicious. My boyfriend adores lemons and lemon items, and throughly enjoyed this. What We Ordered (Night Two): - Bruschetta: The night before we ordered Caprese, and we wanted to also try the bruschetta. It was decent, but much prefer the Caprese as you can put onto the bread they serve. In fairness, I usually choose the option that has cheese because cheese is amazing! - Clementine Spritz: Another dinner, another Clementine Spritz! - Limoncello Spritz: Our server and I were talking about how I'm in my spritz era and asked if she could make a limoncello one and she said yes. It was luscious, but I think the Clementine had a better flavor. - Fettuccine Bolognese: This was my boyfriend's dish, and he mentioned that it was no rack of lamb like the night before! He said the depth of flavor wasn't quite there, and perhaps the bolognese could simmer for longer to develop more flavor. - Prawn Pasta (Special): I was intrigued by this special and wanted to try a more pasta forward dish. The server mentioned red pepper flakes for some heat, but I didn't really taste it. Still overall, a good shrimp pasta dish. I'd go back to Pollo Marsala if we return in another trip. Both nights, we had excellent service. I loved that night one our waitress offered a breakfast recommendation that we tried the next day and loved. Our waitress and even the staff member who brought us bread recognized us when we returned the next night. What service! Also, we loved the coziness of the dining room, but it was bigger than we thought as it wraps around. Definitely our favorite dining experiences in both Strawberry and Pine. Check this place out!

I ordered the fettuccine Bolognese and it was rich, hearty, and full of flavor--perfectly cooked pasta with a delicious meat sauce. My husband had the mushroom veal, which was tender and beautifully prepared in a savory mushroom sauce. Both dishes were excellent. The atmosphere is cozy and romantic with soft lighting and classic Italian music, and the service was warm and attentive. House salad and fresh bread were a nice touch to start. This place is a real gem in Strawberry. Highly recommend making a reservation. We'll definitely keep coming back.

We ordered a double smash burger with bacon (an extra $2 charge) along with tomatoes, lettuce, and onion. The burger arrived with no bacon and none of the listed veggies. We also ordered a triple smash burger with cheddar cheese and tomatoes, lettuce, and onion -- again, none of the veggies were included. We also ordered a mashed potato bowl with chicken, corn, and brown gravy, but there was no brown gravy in it at all. Even though a lot of our order was missing, I will say the food itself still tasted good. The biggest issue, however, was the customer service. The young girl working there, who looked to be around 16 years old, was extremely rude and snotty. When I asked for plastic utensils, she replied, "We do not have any." I asked how we were supposed to eat mashed potatoes and gravy without utensils, and she shrugged and said, "Ma'am, we are a bar, we do not have it." I responded that I've ordered takeout from many bars before and they always provide plastic utensils. She then sarcastically replied, "Good for you, have a nice day." I tried speaking with who I believed was the manager (he nodded when I asked if he was), and while I was explaining the issue, the young employee continued interrupting and talking over me. Another waitress overheard the conversation and quickly returned with plastic utensils, proving they did in fact have them available. The employee then changed her story, saying she "didn't know" if they had utensils and claimed she was super sweet to me(not rude). There is no reason an employee should be speaking to customers this way. She clearly needs additional customer service training before handling customer interactions on her own.
