A TRUE HIDDEN GEM IN PAYSON, AZ! As soon as you walk through the door, it feels like you're walking into your auntie's house. You're treated like family, no matter what time of day you walk in! This was our 2nd time visiting this little gem while passing through Payson, and once again, she was just as special as the first time. This visit was extra special because it was my partner's birthday. There were only three of us, and somehow we ended up having the whole place to ourselves! We arrived about an hour before closing, but that did NOT stop the service or the food from being absolutely excellent. That kind of hospitality is rare these days, and I truly hope this place stays in business FOREVER! I've honestly never had much Thai food before, but EVERYTHING we ordered was delicious! War Wonton Soup: LET ME TELL YOU... this was like LIQUID GOLD! Absolutely incredible, especially after a long day out fishing at the lake. It hit the spot! House Fried Basil Rice :We asked for it spicy, and WOW... SO GOOD! The perfect amount of heat and packed with flavor. Chicken Lo Mein :Another winner! So flavorful and satisfying. And we have to talk about the chili oil and jalapeños on the table... I could've eaten those by themselves! I honestly wish I lived closer because I would be here ALL THE TIME! This place is a hidden gem. The owner is the sweetest lady from Thailand who moved here with her husband 10 years ago. You walk in and they always greet you and come out to check in. DO NOT MISS THIS HIDDEN GEM! If you are driving through Payson on the Bee Line Highway, do yourself a favor and stop at Chinese Thai Cuisine. This place is worth going out of your way for. I came to payson to visit my 75 year old father who suggested to eat at this small establishment. I live in San Diego and eat out frequently in Los Angeles, and I can confidently say this was one of the best and most authentic Thai food experiences I've ever had. The quality, flavors, and execution were exceptional. The pad Thai was phenomenal not the typical overly sour or watered-down version you find at most places, but the authentic, slightly sweeter regional Thai style. The balance of flavors was perfect and incredibly addictive. My 4 year old son almost finished the full size adult plate. The spring rolls were amazing plump, crispy, and reminded me of perfectly fried lumpia filled with meat and glass noodles. They were fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The batter on the orange chicken was easily some of the best I've ever had. The batter was unbelievably light and delicately airy, yet delivered the crispiest crunch with every bite. It wasn't greasy or heavy just perfectly fried. The tom kha soup had incredible depth and complexity. It was creamy and aromatic without being overly heavy on the coconut milk, allowing the authentic Thai flavors and lemongrass to really shine through. The kung pao was also outstanding. The vegetable selection was fresh and thoughtfully prepared, and the spice level built in a way that kept you wanting more. Paired with the Thai iced tea which was sweet and rich, created the perfect balance. The sweetness of the tea mellowed the spice just enough, but the flavors were so addicting you couldn't stop eating. What truly makes Chinese Thai Cuisine special is Mama -- the owner and chef herself -- personally cooking and overseeing the food. That level of care, pride, and authenticity is rare and speaks volumes. You can taste the difference when the owner is in the kitchen making sure every dish is perfect. This is hands down some of the best Thai food and Chinese Thai fusion food you will find in Arizona. Authentic, flavorful, and unforgettable. We came because of the high Yelp rating but I won't be going again. First i.pressions matter. We walked in and the first table we saw had obviously been occupied by a family because it had a high chair and remnants of food everywhere. That's ok, we thought, they must have just left and they haven't had time to clean it yet. We had to wait quite a while before being waited on. Not because it was so busy but because no one came to the front. Well, ok. Then we ordered. My meal was way overcooked and my husband's was tasteless. We were in Payson for the weekend and found this hidden little gem. First off the server (could've been owner) Was hilarious and the service was great!! The food was surprisingly excellent. We did several dishes and shared. Kung Pow chicken, shrimp fried rice, sweet and sour chicken and yellow chicken curry, egg rolls and Thai tea. Everything was excellent. The portions were great for sharing. The yellow curry was so good I keep thinking about it! We are major Thai food connoisseurs and come up from the valley often. This spot had incredible Thai food that genuinely was better than any we've had in Arizona or beyond, and I wish I was joking. I love this restaurant, it's one of the main reasons I love to come to Payson. The tempura vegetable app is so freaking good. All of their ingredients are high quality and fresh. The other Thai place in town rubbed me the wrong way with some other dishes that are made very different from what I anticipate. Normally when you go to a Thai restaurant, the food is pretty traditional for certain dishes. However, this one is very nice with the service, which can be friendly unless you're on a date and they kick you out and tell you they're closing and then they stay open... But when my son and I went there, everything was good except when I ordered dessert, the check was brought to me and I was like I have not even received my dessert. They might not be in such a hurry to get people out when most of the tables are empty. And they may consider making more two tops and four tops and eliminating the big tables in the middle read more

me and my husband moved from California to Payson and I have to say this is the BEST place to get Thai Food that is comparable to our beloved Thai Spoons back in Sunnyvale. We were sad to think we may not have good Thai food in such a small town but WE ARE SO HAPPY to have found this place!! The owner is a lovely lady that is always so sweet! If she has time, she will come over and greet you and aask if you liked the food and give great suggestions for what to try if you're not sure. she truly makes you feel loved because she wants you to EAT GOOD! everything we have tried so far is so AMAZING. ALL of the curries are but our personal favorite has to be the yellow, panang, and green curry! We also really love the egg drop soup which is a wonderful starter or to go soup to have at home just to finish you off. For dessert I really love the thai tea.
