It's nice that it's near the RSF Cars & Coffee. The people are welcoming. There's plenty of outdoor seating, parking, and it's dog friendly. The menu is on the left side, while you order on the right side. I thought that was a little difficult to read while standing in line. The drinks are pretty basic, from what I was looking at I don't think they have any seasonal specials. However they had teas and pastries to enjoy as well. My friend ordered a ~$6.25, Medium Iced Caramel (Sauce) Latte with Oat Milk. He said it had a good flavor and enjoyed it. I tried their $5.25, Small Iced Vanilla Latte with Whole Milk. Despite being on the smaller side, the drink was more milky than I'd prefer it being. However, the taste of the vanilla was nice. The prices being under $7-8 for iced lattes is really nice! Especially in RSF I thought they'd make it more expensive. (Idk first time in the area). If I'm in the area, I'll take another look at the menu and try something else. read more

Besides the high pricing in the drinks that comes along with every slight adjustment or variation, the drinks tastes good and I like that the regular is 2 shots of espresso and the large jumps up to 4 so you can take away shots but don't have to pay more for adding them if you were to get a large. My husband and I visited Rancho Roasters this morning before walking around to the cars for Cars & Coffee (it's perfectly located off the main drag, so it has much shorter line). We ordered a Sweet Bee and a Cinnamon Roll Latte. Both were perfectly crafted and delicious! I'm looking forward to visiting again and this time trying their vegetarian breakfast burritos and their vegetarian protein bowls (I saw a spirulina & fruit one and an acai one). read more

I really cant thank Rancho Roasters enough for what they did for me. I ordered a chai latte and when I got back to my car, I tripped on the curb and completely spilled the whole thing. Frustrated that it got over my clothes and car, I walked back to get some napkins and water to clean some of it off. The girls wondered what happened and immediately made me another one. I really was not expecting that but the very fact that did that for me showed how kind and thoughtful they are. I will back at this place every weekend and chance I get when im in Rancho Santa Fe. If the owner is reading this, the girls that work early on Saturday are the best employees you can ask for. The coffee and breakfast burrito were amazing and we really enjoyed along with the Saturday morning RSF car show. We had a blast. read more

Awesome little coffee spot in Rancho Santa Fe. They have a great selection of drinks and make a really nice Dirty Vanilla Chai Latte. There's some outdoor seating if you want to stop for a bit, otherwise you can park in their customer parking area and just grab your drink and go. This is such an incredible hidden gem! The coffee is some of the best we have had. They use Dark Horse Coffee which is the perfect balance of flavor and super smooth! They have every drink you could want at a coffee shop as well as food items and gluten free pastry options. There is plenty of outdoor seating as well. I have to concur with the other reviews - this place is a great hidden gem. I was in the area and really craving a cold brew and found this little shop to try. My barista was so nice and friendly, they use Dark Horse coffee which is DELICIOUS, and they had so many options for a little business district shop. I love this coffee shop. Josh is my favorite. He always remembers my drink, my name, and greets me with a friendly face. I love that kind of customer service. Customer for life. Went for the first time today and I loved it! Is it rude to say it's so much better than the other coffee shop in town? I got a cappuccino and it was perfect! They know how to foam the milk properly (I've worked as a barista for a while). For some reason most coffee shops nowadays don't seem to know how to foam milk anymore. We were there close to lunchtime so the parking lot was a bit busy with the adjacent deli but had plenty of spaces. There were a few people dining inside but no one in line. It was clean, well organized, felt light and kind of fancy like it would attract a country club clientele, despite it not being ornate. A fresh complimentary water dispenser was available. We ordered from the patient and welcoming cashier who also heated up our croissant (plain) and chocolate croissant. They were served on plates (that are washable and can break lol) which is a nice change of pace. The croissants were large and delicious! Buttery, fluffy, delicate, and a good proportion of chocolate. We decided to dine outside at their nice tables. There was a surprising amount of seating available, with choice of shade or sun! And tables were clean, which seems like a basic expectation but many places don't get that right. I look forward to returning for another treat.

Coffee here is so good, but the service is pretty slow. There have been multiple times where it has taken a VERY long time for my order to be prepared, when I am the only one there! Because of this, there have been a few times where I've made the drive there, but ordered anything because there has been 2+ people in line and I didn't have enough time to wait. But, the coffee is great so if you have the time I would recommend it. read more

Large umbrellas and a thick broad canopy over the patio provide plentiful shade while allowing the lovely breezes to pass through (we're only a few blocks from the ocean). You can absolutely taste the difference. The pastry I had was incredibly moist, flavorful, and fresh and not dry at all like you often find at coffee shops (like the Coop) The gentleman working the register was also fantastic. I wasn't familiar with all of the baked goods, and he took the time to walk me through the options and explain what everything was without making me feel rushed. That kind of customer service goes a long way. Between the fresh pastries, great atmosphere, and genuinely friendly staff, I thoroughly enjoyed my visit and will definitely be back.

It was smooth and rich and came with the correct ratio of espresso to steamed milk.
