We were on a long road trip and chose this place solely based on the highly rated reviews! It is a smaller building with very limited seating (~4 seats at a counter window) and a carefully curated menu; everything sounded delicious! Although we arrived during a very busy dinner rush, the employees all seemed very level-headed and worked like a well-oiled machine -- we ordered (2) cheeseburgers from the kids menu (perfect proportions) & a mushroom Swiss burger -- delish! Makes sense why the line was out the door! We would definitely frequent this place again when in the area!

This place is amazing! Everything is so fresh and homemade! Fresh cut fries are the best and that's how they do it here. The keg tots and garlic parm fries were also a big hit. All the burgers were double patty smashes. I got a cheeseburger and it was good. For me, it was a bit cold and under seasoned which could have been due to having a big order. Everyone else scarfed down their burgers as it was a hit all around for everyone. We enjoyed our food with drinks while sitting outside closer to Big Lost. I would definitely stop by again if in the area!

What we really like is the fresh made French fries. Cooked in fresh oil, not soggy, and a generous application of salt. We didn't expect that as we were here for the chicken sandwiches. I decided on the "Southern Belle" Described as "bringing a bit of the South to Wyoming! Our amazing fried chicken with a savory Pimento and cheddar cheese spread, applewood smoked bacon." As for the chicken sandwich it was very good and we had ours fried with a nice crunch and moist chicken inside. A nice combination. We choose to sit outside and enjoy the sun and beautiful day.

    Waiting for my delicious lunch.

I travel for business and it is extremely hard to find quality food that isn't fast food. Ranch & Roost has become my favorite stop in Gillette Wyoming! The service, incredible and friendly. The food, off the charts! The Best Smash Burger I've ever had. The chicken is incredible and fresh. Thank you. I will be back.

We were having drinks next door at Big Lost Meadery & Brewery and they recommended buying snacks from Ranch & Roost. I like that you can order and have it delivered straight there! My husband and I aren't into that kind of food, but we ordered some fries for the little guy. They were overpriced for a small town - $6 for a tiny cup of fries!! Anyway, it was handy at the time.

Large Parmesan fries that could be shared with 3-4 people.

Oh, this place was perfect for our dinner stop as we were passing through Gillette. The service was superb, and best we could tell, all of our food was cooked fresh to order. The fresh cut fries were absolutely delicious, including the Parmesan option. My husband throughly enjoyed his buffalo chicken sandwich as well. There is no indoor seating, but we loved that we could sit outside. The kids had a place to run around as we waited for our food. So happy I found this place!

This place truly rocks it! The menu has several items to help build the perfect burger on it. Bacon, different cheeses, veggies, etc. The Tater Kegs are amazing and filled with plenty of great stuff, but next time, I have to try the hand-cut fries. Staff is very friendly and they get the goods out! This is a place to call in or get it to go, as there are only four seats which have breath taking views of cases of fresh Idaho Potatoes ! A truly great sign of fresh and not frozen. Will we be back? Absolutely!

    Cheeseburger and Mushroom burger

The young ladies working today were very polite, professional and made our first experience here nice. I ordered a double patty cheeseburger, wife ordered double patty mushroom burger and we split a medium fry. Gourmet burger prices; both burgers cooked really well but they were literally dripping in grease and made huge messes for us both. Flavors were very good on my burger, but my wife could tell her mushrooms were canned mushrooms and she didn't care for the taste. The fries were over seasoned and a little to well done. As first time customers we will be back to see if they are the same or if they change a little. I do recommend their cheeseburger but they need to work on the being over greased part. This is a very small burger joint with a great potential to be huge here in Gillette.

    Small counter/ordering area, simple menu.

Solid burger and chicken joint, attached across the way to the Big Lost Meadery. It's a walk-up (only indoor seating are are a few stools), otherwise it's outdoor seating or at the Meadery. They've dressed up the lot with trees, games, and live music. The Meadery is nice, has a nice setting, dinner delivered in a sack right to you. 5 Guys style burgers or chicken sandwiches and fries or barrel tots. A good grab and go or casual dining.

Unfortunately, we had a mixed experience. Food. My husband ordered the Classic Chicken Sandwich Combo ($8.99, before taxes), which included their "premium all-white meat Extra Crispy fried chicken sandwich, served with pickles on a buttery brioche-style bun with Colonel's real mayo", served with your choice of side and a medium drink. He ordered the French Fries. The sandwich was fresh, tasty, and warm, and the size was good. (Rating: 5/5). The French Fries, however, warranted only a 2/5 rating. First, the quantity that was provided was exceptionally small, filling only about 40% of the already small container. My husband brought it to their attention, and they gave him another order of fries, gratis. However, both orders were exceptionally salty almost to the point of being unedible. I ordered one of their specials, the Taste of KFC Famous Bowl Deal for only $5.00. It consisted of "creamy mashed potatoes, sweet corn, and our 100% white meat chicken nuggets, layered together and then drizzled with homestyle gravy and topped with a perfect blend of three shredded cheeses." My rating: 1.5/5. It was edible but not very good. The predominate taste was the potatoes, which tasted like they were reconstituted potato flakes. There was too little chicken, and the combo of gravy and shredded cheeses didn't go together well. A final note on the chicken on the menu. We would've preferred to order grilled rather than fried chicken for both the sandwich and the bowl, but either we missed it or it wasn't an option. Service. Our order was accurate, and the boy who took our order was friendly and efficient. However, the restaurant wasn't too busy and the workers were, in our opinion, too casual in their conversation amongst themselves between customers, in one case even using a curse word (not our server). This seemed inappropriate and unprofessional. Also, as mentioned, the quantity of fries that we received was very small and my husband had to bring it to their attention. Ambiance. The restaurant was clean, and tables appeared to have been wiped down between customers. Parking was plentiful and free.

The first day I had to interrupt and ask if I could get a drink with my order, as it was included, before he sent me to the window. Then when I pulled up to the window the guy who took my order is not very polite and walks off in his muck boots afterwards. Don't know how that's proper attire at any establishment but okay. The young girl who handed me my order acted all huffy puffy, lethargic, and disheveled like she just got done with a 12 hour cardio-thoracic surgery procedure. And after I said "thank you" she goes "yep" without even making eye contact or a smile. Simply unbelievable for a little girl like her to have such a big ego whilst working at a fast food place. It turned out my entire order was shoved into the box and it was falling out of the bottom when I pulled it out of the bag. Don't know why they would decide that it was ready to be sent out but now I have chicken all over my car so that's great. Not impressed one bit every time I come here.

I've been to multiple BW3s all over the country, and trust me, I've been to much much worse. Your typical franchise BW3's, sports theme, sports decorum and TVs everywhere playing woke NFL football. I was greeted after maybe about a minute or so meandering around the entry point. Really nice girl with Halloween makeup asked me where I wanted to be seated but I wanted to sit at the bar so she told me to just make my way which is what I did. The bartender, actually all of them were super cool. I wasn't sitting there more than 30 seconds before being acknowledged and ordering my first cocktail. And the entire time I was there, I felt valued and was in constant conversation with a majority of the service staff as well as other customers. It was actually really nice to be honest. All great people. I ordered 20 wings with 4 different sauces. I wanted my wings drenched and with the salt and vinegar dry rub, over the seasoned, but they didn't come out that way. But it's fine, they were hot and still flavorful. I ordered fried pickles immediately when I ordered my cocktail, and they sort of dropped the ball on that, because my wings came out first and I had to ask about them, but that's not really a big deal either. It's not like I'm sitting at a white glove five star Michelin restaurant. It's Buffalo wild wings after all and the attention and service supersedes other people's reviews here on Yelp. I sat, ate, imbibed, and had a great overall experience with quite a few of the staff. You can't really ask for much more, so if you're giving 2 stars or less, you got to be pretty snooty considering the place you are writing a review on. The next time I come through Gillette, I would not hesitate to come back in here again. It was pretty damn good for what it is.

There are a few times in one's life when one's priorities telescope onto a single thing, when there…read moreis only one thing that means anything, one thing that can bring joy, one thing that can quell the restless hunger inside. Previously, I experienced this type of desperate yearning with respect to Taco Bell only on a few short-lived, drunken occasions, but recently I experienced a hunger-induced revelation so intense that I felt the need to visit Gillette, Wyoming to fulfill it. Here's what happened: a companion and I decided to spend 5 uninterrupted days in the backcountry wilderness, with the only hints of civilization being the very occasional interaction with other backpackers. The trees were beautiful, the mountains, majestic, but for nearly the entire time I felt a profound empty space within the most base, human part of myself. For the first time in my highly privileged life, I found myself days away from any human food. Any other time, I could hypothetically hop in the car or walk a couple blocks and receive hot, greasy food for a few dollars, but in the backcountry, no such option existed. All that was available to me were sickly sweet cliff bars and salty, but profoundly cheerless, ramen, and I felt the absence of the usual option acutely. Do I normally like fast food? No, absolutely not--I think that most people who camp for fun tend to value their health too much to eat fast food regularly. But in the backwoods, in my calorie deficient state, fast food was all I deserved. How could I possibly muster the energy to crave five-star meal fluff? How could I desire delicious, but calorically deficient and impractical items like fruit and vegetables? How could I want anything but blissfully synthetic nacho cheese, crunchy taco shell brazenly inserted into a warm tortilla, bean juices happily mingling with sour cream to create something only distantly recognizable as food? In the backcountry, I felt as if I barely existed, so how could I possibly want anything as pretentious, as lofty, as arrogant, as the healthy food I eat in my normal life? The only thing that could make me feel human again, amongst the celestial might of the mountains, the bears that could kill me in an instant, the weather that could turn at any moment and strike me down, is the Crunchwrap Supreme. Tasting the Crunchwrap Supreme after several days of wanting it more than anything else made me appreciate it for what it is--an unpretentious dish capable of filling any physical or emotional hole. Is it a true culinary advancement? No, absolutely not--but also, it kind of is. Hike for days on end and then decide for yourself. I give Taco Bell 4 stars, because we were charged extra for substituting beef for beans and I do not care for that one bit #vegetarian

I waited nearly an hour for two concurrent orders--one of which was literally just two tacos. To make matters worse, the staff missed the drinks for the larger order, forcing me to go back inside. When I asked for an update on the food, the employee was entirely unhelpful, prioritizing lecturing me on name pronunciation rather than actually checking on the order progression. This isn't a one-off issue; I experience massive wait times here consistently, whether I'm delivering or ordering personal food, regardless of the time of day.
