Yes i'm leaving ANOTHER review...... but this one is even better…read more Sadly I can't have dairy or gluten :/ so I got the chicken cashew salad--and OH MY GOODNESS. Let's just say it was worth every penny (except someone else paid for me, so bless their heart.) Our server was FANTASTIC-- super nice. There was a big group of us and they cared for us wonderfully. It was really enjoyable. My husband got the steak sirloin with french fries--and omgoodness their french fries are everything Love love love!!! Not in our budget though..... so we will probably not be back for a long time.

To start we ate the most delicious and tender calamari. We ordered the Senior Prine rib dinner and…read moreadded the wedge salad for an extra $5.99. The prime rib didn't look as how we expected, very lean but it was surprisingly tasty. Our waitress said the potato soup was good and so we chose that. It was nice with chunks of potatoes with a deep cheddar flavor. The wedge salad was half a head of iceberg lettuce cut in half. It was so huge that I needed to use two plates to cut up the lettuce and toss it wth all the toppings. It was quite delicious and fillings. We also ordered a Rib Eye dinner which tasted really good. To end our meal we ordered the Sky High mud Pie to share. It had delicious coffee ice cream covered in whipped cream and drizzled with chocolate and maybe it was caramel syrup and a lot of chopped peanuts around the edge of the plate. It was really delicious but now that I think about it I think if it were toasted almonds instead of peanuts it could of been tastier to me. Our waitress was so wonderful, funny and attentive. She was good and honest about recommendations and wanted to know what we thought about the calamari because she gets mixed reviews. The restaurant is open to 10 which makes it great for those on roadtrips and want to stop at and have a nice sit down dinner. We arrived around 8:30 and the restaurant was still busy.

Stopped in for a quick lunch. I believe it was the only restaurant open in the town. The ambiance…read morewas western theme. Nicely decorated with Weiss which was warm and inviting. I ordered a grilled chicken salad with cranberries and almonds. The chicken was hot however it came out too quickly. Like reheated chicken breast which was rubbery. The Blue cheese dressing was nice and thick with chucks of blue cheese. My husband order the BLT which he enjoyed. He ordered sweet potato waffle fries which was an up charge. They were over cooked and not plentiful. The best part of lunch was the dessert. The cheese cake was creamy and fresh.

Let's get to it -…read more Jalapeño Poppers w/ spicy raspberry jam & ranch - 4/5 nothing special, just bar food poppers. It seems to be popular in this area to serve it w/ raspberry jam. I'd say half Ranch & half Jam was a good combo. Bison Ribeye medium - 5/5 absolutely flavorful & cooked to perfection. If I only ordered this, minus the server & sides, I'd say #1 they'd get 5/5 stars. Best Ever Bison Ribeye! Top Sirloin medium - 2/5 hardly any flavor except BP, below average, cooked more medium rare, which I don't mind, except it was tough. Outback has a better steak by far! Side Salad - 5/5 fresh, crisp & shockingly a good variety of dressings. I had the Spicy Garlic Honey. Not really spicy, but very sweet. Mango Vinegarette was good w/ Blue Cheese mixed. Sides: Baked Potato - 2.7/5 totally a Wendy's drive-thru baked potato w/ a squeezeable to-go tube of sour cream. Bread Sticks - 2/5 dry & obviously is not the common dinner roll for steaks. On the menu they serve Hawaiian Rolls so not sure why steaks come w/ breadsticks... Coleslaw - 1/5 horrible. The presentation looked like it was someone else's leftovers & the slaw is all vinegar, no mayo or substance. Overall, our server (maybe Amber) was a zero. She was rude, didn't look at us as she asked if we needed anything more just at the wall towards the bathroom. Did not bring share plates for our app. She only looked at us when she brought the check.

I really only have one regret. The Boot Hill Legendary restaurant, lounge and night club are in Gillette, WY and I live in Georgia! That might be to far to eat here regularly, but if you are anywhere near Gillette and you don't make your way to the Boot Hill Legendary restaurant, your taste buds will haunt you because you missed out on one of the best meals of a lifetime. FYI... I am not related to anyone there, but you couldn't ask for a nicer staff. Curtis the manager was very personable and helpful. I got the opportunity to meet the owner as well and he too is a great guy who actually cares about his customers. Don't miss this place!

This was our first time in Gillette and our first time at this location. There is nothing that I could say that is positive about the experience. The staff was indifferent. The owner was a jerk and I felt that I was not welcome or appreciated as a visiter from out of town or as a customer. I would never come back to this location ever again and regret spending my money here. I would avoid at all costs. Find a place that appreciates your business. This place does not.
