This was an unplanned stop on a roadtrip that ChatGPT recommended and it did not disappoint. Rotisserie chicken was delectable, empanadas delicious, kids chicken fingers were even a hit. Service was wonderful. They were busy during the lunch rush and were extremely attentive to every guest, getting tables cleaned and the next guests seated but never rushing anyone and making you feel as if they knew you. We didn't quite know what to expect as it looked like a small hole in the wall, but the small dining room and outside seating quickly became part of its charm. We just left and are already craving the chicken. Good thing we have leftovers in a ToGo box for later. The food was amazing! We ordered rice/black beans, breast & wing ( that came with two sizes) and it included two tortillas. We also ordered rotisserie chicken, lettuce, wrap, beer, and a Pepsi. The chicken was moist and lots of flavor. Lettuce wrap came with four tacos, good size, flavor was of soy sauce. Not over powering but just right. The chicken pot pie looks amazing but don't make the mistake I did and be so hungry you don't ask if they have any ready to be served. First off, this is a hidden gem in the town of Gillette, I believe it used to be a Tasty Freeze or maybe an A&W, covered parking areas and super small seating area. Amazing food and one of the best meals I had in Wyoming! My husband ordered the half chicken, mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, and a side of green beans. I ordered the vegetarian wrap with a side of mac and cheese and a tres leches cake to share. The chicken was flavorful and juicy. The sides were great and we both really loved the garlicky greens beans. I was surprised and delighted by the vegetarian wraps, which were filled with black beans, rice, tomatoes, cheese, and cilantro. The sauces were also tasty. The taquitos werent exactly health food, but i wouldn't have expected that from taquitos, but most of their menu looked super yummy and healthy. Also dug that they served little muffins. I'm so glad we stopped here! I will admit I was skeptical when we pulled into the parking lot but once we stepped inside, the homey atmosphere erased any reservations. It is quaint but the waitstaff greeted us right when we walked in. Probably some of the friendliest waitstaff I have seen. We were a fairly large group (7) but our food came out very quickly (they were busy) and piping hot. I had the chicken taquitos and ate them too quickly to get a photo. That's how good they were! We had to eat outside due to Covid restrictions. Our food was serviced in to go boxes. The food was prepared quickly. The serving size was good. We tried both the red & green salsa, & both were yummy, though we preferred the red (personal taste). Nice variety of sides to choose from. We had green beans (garlicky & delish) & "shredded cabbage," which was almost like a Mexican coleslaw - cabbage, cilantro, & lime. So we stuffed ourselves in a fairly health manner! ... Until we heard about the "Impossible Cake" - what devil came up with the idea of combining chocolate cake & flan?! it was SO decadent!
