Those very not tasty and seemed to have been kept warm too long, as some were hard. Husband did not care for chopped corned beef. The eggs were enough to feed a few more people. We stopped here on our stroll of the town and had a Cobb salad, which was fresh and delicious. The outdoor patio area is very lovely, quiet, and clean. Bottles of chicken repellent (water) are placed at each table; however, we spied no problematic poultry and were left in peace. Waitstaff are welcoming and helpful. Convenient location serving typical tourist trappy food and drink. If you eat here you need to be aware of the fact that both chickens and iguanas may be joining your dining party. Whether you find that whimsical or annoying is up to you. Food was okay. My shrimp wrap was a lettuce stuffed tortilla with maybe 3 shrimp, but the chicken sandwich was decent. Server forgot our appetizer, brought it after our mains, and didnt adjust anything or offer any compensation (we just kinda picked at it). We were out on a bike ride and stopped in here where we had the loveliest lunch. We were seated immediately and had the nicest waiter take care of us. He answered our menu questions and told us about the chicken repellent on the table (water is a squeeze bottle). We had no chicken issues as they just meandered around keeping to themselves. Our food was delivered to our table quickly and was very good! I opted for the fish tacos and it was a great choice. They were plentiful and flavorful. This place gets the Key West thing right. It is set back off the main drag in Bahama Village, so you get the shade trees, the live music, and an actual laid-back island vibe instead of a packed tourist trap. The Bloody Mary bar is a whole event and honestly a reason to come by itself. Food was fresh and did not skimp, frozen drinks were perfect for the weather, and the staff kept it easy and friendly the whole time. A little walk off Duval but that is exactly why it is better. We came here for brunch on the last Sunday of Fantasy fest. It was busy, but we were able to get seats quickly. I got their crabby Bloody Mary and I highly recommend that!! Thanksgiving Day in Key West, walking around to the sites that were open, killing time til our 4:15 dinner reservation, we got hungry. We happened to be within sight of Rams Head. So we popped in for a snack, 8 of us. They have a patio that was crowded and hot. Thankfully they sat us inside with AC. Our server, Costa, was a hoot. Great sense of humor, attentive, apologetic for being shorthanded, but we didn't notice. We ordered beers, cocktails, etc... then food. These were no snacks. Full scale breakfasts in the afternoon, nachos, burgers, etc. it was all really good. And we were stuffed. Called from the table to push our dinner back to 6:30 cuz there was no way we'd be hungry in 3 hours. Eat here. read more

Coming here with a large group, we had to wait about 45 minutes to be seated. The bar, the area in the back, and cornhole kept us entertained while waiting. Though there is an upper deck, at least for when we were there, the space down below was cooler and certainly more inviting. Giving 3 stars only because Kim, our server, was amazing. We both ordered steak and as soon as the food was served, we were SWARMED with flies. It was terrible. I couldn't take a bite without the flies swarming my plate. I'll give grace as that's not necessarily the restaurants fault. Aside from the flies- the steak was so flavorless and dry. And the fries were wayyyy too salty. It was truly the worst $100 I have ever spent. 3 people (2 steak meals + kids meal + tip). Service- amazing Food- disappointing :( read more

Tried the tots with crab and not only was the plate unappealing to look at it was mainly just a blob of tots buried with cheese and crab mix. I also tried the tuna poke, which wasn't really a poke, but an avocado cut in half filled with tuna and seaweed and like five chips on the side. I will say, the staff was friendly and attentive. Overall, great location with lots of potential, but needs to do a better job with the food. read more

The atmosphere is low key chill. Had the Bloody Mary which was probably the best tasting in Key West. The conch fritters were well done crispy and excellent but the star of the day was the crab dip. Service was crazy slow and comical but the food and drinks overrode any potential issues. We are in Key West for the Songwriter festival and came to Rams head for lunch because there were artists playing there. We asked the hostess (Ashley) if she could sit us as close as possible to the music she said we could order food to go and find a seat in that side. We said we would sit and order in the main restaurant area. She managed to sit us at the farthest table from the music and with the waterfall behind us. Doesn't seem like she was interested in making this a pleasant experience. BTW Rams Head is sponsoring the event! Pelufo was our server and she was great. We both had mahi mahi sandwiches with fries, very good fries. One fish blackened, one grilled. Both good, but blackened was better. Good selection of draft beers. Full bar, and a frozen pina colada was chosen and also good. There were some chickens roaming around, and each table had a water bottle to squirt at them as a deterrent. We stopped with friends for the famous Bloody Mary bar. However, I chose the Skinny Pina Colada instead, which sadly did not meet my expectations. I mistakenly assumed the beverage would be like a traditional, frozen Pina Colada but it turned out to be more like a mojito. My husband had much better success with his drink choice, the Southernmost Signature Bloody Mary, complete with crispy celery, large, green olives and rimmed with Old Bay seasoning instead of the typical sea salt. We also ordered the Queso Shrimp Dip and Pulled Pork Sandwich. The shrimp dip reminded me of crab dip but the full pieces of shrimp and chunks of jalapeños sent the competition packing! Yummy! The pulled pork sandwich with the guava BBQ sauce and pineapple slaw on a brioche bun rivaled high end BBQ restaurants. The only negative about the whole experience was the lack of attention from the bartender. We had to practically beg her to take our drink and food order. Then, when she finally took our order, she forgot our second round of drinks and brought the wrong entree for our friends. Even with this hiccup, I would return for the delicious food and typical Key West ambiance. read more

We ordered the Crabby Mary Bloody Mary's which turned out to be nearly a meal. Besides the drink being really good there was an 'extra' skewer with shrimp, scallops and crab, FABULOUS!!! Then, our seafood omelet arrived, which we shared, it was stuffed with seafood and topped with a really good, house made, hollandaise sauce.
