Finally tried this place yesterday after drooling over the pictures on Instagram for a few weeks. First of all, even the inside of the place smells delicious! We sat outside and had the avocado fries (sorry no pic because we were starving) and I also had the Shoyu ramen. Wow. The flavors and texture of the food were great! The prices weren't low for technically "soup" but there is so much stuff to it - I was definitely full and satisfied after. I will definitely be back. More places like this in Nuremberg pleases Update: came back again with my Mom and although the food was good we were a little taken aback by this: when ordering drinks we were told they only had their homemade lemonades. They supposedly didn't get their delivery of sodas etc. my mom asked about water and the waitress shakes her head no. We proceed to order the lemonades and after we are done eating a party of 3 sits next to us. They are not told the same and when one of them orders a water they ask "still or sparkling". Ok... I probably won't return after this.

An amazing and cozy spot for some delicious Ramen in Nürnberg! Just make sure to call ahead for reservations. A must try!

Incredibly delicious. The cute Vietnamese owners know what they're doing! The fish ramen sounded weird but was definitely worth a try. The fresh and took maybe 4-5 minutes as they cooked it right there at the bar by the window. They took cash and car. No alcohol though

Very authentic Japanese restaurant! We met a Japanese friend…read morehere who recommended this place as his favorite lunch place. Lunch offering: We chose the lunch offering, which was a Japanese buffet. All kinds of Japanese dishes were offered; Sushi, Chicken, rice... everything was delicious. Price: although it was a buffet, the prices were okay from our point of view. We paid 13 or 14 euros per person but it was definitely worth it! Parking: it is a little difficult to find a parking spot right in front of the restaurant. Come with your bike of public transportation to avoid the annoying search for a parking spot. :)

German .. for english scroll down…read more Der erste Eindruck: japanisch schlichte Einrichtung. Preis: 130 Euro Qualität (0-10): 7 Service (0-10): 1 ****** english ***** My first impression when I entered the room: spartanic location. When in Japan - you´ll experience not many locations that look so empty. Really. But I´m not making comments on the location - I´m here to talk about the food and service. For people that are not familiar with the many possible options of the japanese raw fish dishes and options that are available - the card is overwhealming. What I found is that this seems to be the only japanese restaurant in or near Nuremberg offering the japanese Soup dish "Ramen". The food quality and amount of different Sushi is good. The Tuna Sashimi was really smooth - similar to what I experienced in good places in Japan. Ramen was really authentic. If you go for the Bento box and mix on what ever you want - you´ll land at € 20. Now the downside of the visit. As good as the food was - the service was a mess. The waiter was waiting .... and waiting.... and waiting - but for what. The room was not crowded. we asked several times for service - and it didn´t come. The long haired service guy seemed to be bored and was found drinking or playing with a bogey. Even if we asked - he didn´t show up - until we asked for the bill.... The room was cold and we needed to switch on the heating ourselves. This location was like Antarctica..... except the snow. KomeKome: my biggest wish is that you serve your guests like it is common in Japan when a guest shows up. Not with a non-service like that. Then you are entitled to get paid like it is common in Japan in better places. And then - but only then - I´ll come back. I was pursued to visit the KomeKome due to the positive reviews. In the end I was really, really disappointed. Not by the food. But the service was the worst I experienced since a long, long time. Long speech - short summary: good food - terrible service - because of the service: Probably never again. Number of people: 5 (Family) Food ordered: Sushi, Sashimi, Ramen, Tempura, Asahi Beer, Green Tea, Ice from Green Tea and Sesame Bill: € 130 Quality (0-10): 7 Service (0-10): 1 おいしい料理が、ひどいサービス

You need a reservation for this place because it's tiny. We got a cute corner table. They have…read moremainly Japanese fusion of ramen, udon, sushi, pho. Vegetarian friendly. We ordered: Chicken sate - two chicken breast skewers with dipping sauce Tempura mix - one shrimp and mix of zucchini, sweet potato, bell pepper and egg plant. The chicken was flavorful and juicy. The dipping sauce was good. The tempura mix had too much oil. It's like they reused the oil many times to fry the tempura which didn't have a good after taste. We also ordered sweet potato fries and that tasted like candy. Super sweet, yummy and crispy but again, the oil was recycled. Despite the oil issue, they offer a variety of food that I would order if I'm ever back in this area.

The sushi was flavorful however the ramen was nothing to rave about. The lady who sat us was very nice and didn't seem to be angry we spoke English however our waitress wasn't very friendly, I wasn't aware of their only accepting cards from Germany so I had to walk to the atm to get cash. She kinda of barked at me when she found out don't have a German bank account. The pink decorations are very cute and help with the ambiance of the restaurant. Oh the lemonade is tasty but if you don't get rum added I don't think you get a big cup. We also asked for to go to boxes because we couldn't finish and the waitress seemed annoyed. Will I go back? Debatable but if You do go just take euro with you.

Alright, in search for great Nürnberg sushi I was lead to this little gem hidden behind a bunch of…read moreindustrial buildings. This locale is easily accessible with public transportation. The restaurant itself has a good selection of parking spots available during the evening and weekend. I had a pretty large meal and a couple appetisers. First of all we got a small complimentary bowl of cold soybeans. They were very crunchy and quite refreshing with a hint of sesame. I ordered some Miso soup as an appetiser and it was very good! Only thing I have to complain about is I feel like the Miso soup was too salty. Now on to the great main course! I ordered a large variety of sushi as my meal to give the place a sushi test run and I must say I was very, VERY pleased with the results! All of the sushi had fresh and delicious vegetables consisting with absolutely great quality fish. The entire plate was wonderfully decorated and each piece of sushi had its own magic. I ended up ordering too much and had to take some home with me! A lot of the sushi had very good flavour compatibility with each other, my personal favourite being fried white fish with Cucumber and avocado. It was simply an experience. The place had a great ambience to it, consisting of a classic yet modern look with touches of Japanese culture. The serving staff were also really great! Spoke multiple languages and was very friendly to my requests! A very soft music plays in the background and sets a great relaxed mood. Prices aren't extreme! considering the amount of sushi you get for what you pay and especially how good it is! All in all this place is a perfect place to get some sushi if you are heading from Nürnberg to Fürth or vice versa, either public or private transportation it is a great place to stop and try, I know I will be stopping by again!

Great place for sushi. Good service. A bit far from Nuremberg city center but not so crowded.read more
