It was our first time here trying some Korean cuisine in Würzburg during our excursion…read more Our server promptly checked our COVID vaccination certificates against our photo IDs just as we were being seated--Germany's 2G standard. At least it's not 2G+ requiring negative COVID test only valid for 24 hours yet. Atmosphere was very nice having a relaxing BGM playing. Walls were painted white rendering somewhat surgical feeling, but at least it gave me a feeling of certain cleanliness. Sections were divided by plexiglass for our protection since tables were somewhat close to each other. Restrooms downstairs were very clean. I thought gender designations of rooms were very unique (photos). Service was very courteous, friendly and prompt. Five tables (out of eight or so) were occupied in the main section during our lunch, and one server took care of it all with very efficiency. Our drinks and food orders were taken right away, and our food came out of the kitchen fairly fast. Lunch Bibimbap (8,50€) was reasonable and tasty. I thought we might get some banchan (side dishes), but we didn't. That was somewhat disappointing. Judging from what was on our bibimbap, they have decent banchan. I also thought the portion of rice was somewhat small, so it didn't give me a sense of overwhelming fullness after finishing the whole bowl. Well, don't bother with their "mild" sauce and stick to the traditional gotchjan instead. It had certain sour taste to it and wasn't too good IMHO. It left a funny aftertaste in my mouth. It had an option of vegan, so I think it perhaps reflected the university population in Würzburg. It was another good find in Würzburg. If you like Korean food, you might want to give it a try here. Unfortunately, no credit card accepted (in that sense, not too tourist friendly)! I hope they'll consider offering that option in the future.

This restaurant has a…read morenicer ambiance and better suited if you have a group or looking for a more upscale place to have dinner. It's also right by the Schloss-/Johannesstraße U, so it's easy to get to. Found it a little challenging to figuring out the appetizers and entrees (naturally the more expensive items). Ordered the chicken bulgogi since I've been eating way too much meat and pork in Germany. Asked if it could be prepared in the back, but they still cooked it at the table. The waitress seemed unsure of what to do, so another waiter had to jump in. Overall, I enjoyed it. I liked the side dishes (super small portions) and lettuce, but had to ask for the red pepper paste. They have beer and soju. Also, they take credit cards. Saw comments complaining on the cost. Did see the pre-fixe menu and it can be pricey, but if you're looking to sample a lot of food, then it makes sense. I went a la carte, which I think is better.

Taste? Like a foreigner made foreign food with unknown ingredients. Stuttgart living Chinese version of Korean food. Banchan supposed to be free refill but they charge 2.50 euro for some cheap food which would cost like .50 euro. They accept ONLY CASH !!!!!! They told me that they are "No credit card restaurant" Average cost will be between 15 to 20 euros a la carte selection of food including drinks. The cost to quality value are not that good from my point of view.
