I didn't understand her initially but said no. I guess it would have been too much of a scene to ask us to leave, especially since everyone coming in after us had no reservations. Our order was taken promptly, the food again was high quality and delicious. When time for the check, the staff ignored us for an hour. I sent my children back to the hotel after 20 minutes as it had been a long couple of days of activity and travel. I waited an entire hour for the check after others who had come after me ate, paid and left. I could have left cash but wasn't sure if taxes were required and didn't want to pay too little. I drank 3 carafes of water while being ignored. As it got closer to closing and after I had to use the restroom, the manager/server finally made eye contact so I could request my check. If you are black or brown, DO NOT come here. Yoshoku is very close but was completely full when we went. That food looked just as delicious and I suspect won't come with a healthy serving of racism and disrespect.

I've travelled the world and had ramen in all corners, and this place ranks within the top 5 places I've tried. It is right next door to a pho place, and they're run together. We had the gyoza (in a sublime drizzled sauce), the beef spring rolls (drizzled in a lite fish sauce), and the Shoyu ramen, with pork base. Everything was amazing and we would come back here in a second if in Nuremberg again. Supremely delicious!

We also tried the gyouza and karaage which were very good. The staff were Japanese and very nice. The restaurant website and phone number do not seem to be working right now but it is definitely open. It's not possible to make a reservation and you just have to show up and wait in line. It moves quickly though. This is very much like how it is in Japan. Highly recommended! Thank you!

I would guess the baby is about a year old, and they had to stand in the cold to wait for the table. In the meantime, there were seats & tables available inside, and even there is space available for everyone to wait inside. After waiting for 20 minutes, I waited another 5 minutes without anyone acknowledging there is a customer waiting for a many. I had to request the waitress to rush my order (I was ready to leave). The noodle was served quickly, this is the only thing that made me happy. When I picked up the noodles with the chopsticks, I noticed there was a good-sized noodle lump sitting in the soup. I had to constantly push the lump to the side of the bowl. The soup base was so thick and sticky. This would normally happen when the noodle is cooked in the soup base and the starch makes the soup sticky. However, I believe the ramen should be cooked in hot water separately before the noodles are added to the soup base. I ordered the Cha Shu Ramen, and the two thin slices of Cha Shu were so sad....my noodles shouldn't have cost me 26 Euro. I want to say it is overcharged. I am ok to pay 26 Euro, but you need to give me the 26 Euro worth of food and service. I am surprised to see such a high rating for this restaurant.

Very authentic Japanese restaurant! We met a Japanese friend…read morehere who recommended this place as his favorite lunch place. Lunch offering: We chose the lunch offering, which was a Japanese buffet. All kinds of Japanese dishes were offered; Sushi, Chicken, rice... everything was delicious. Price: although it was a buffet, the prices were okay from our point of view. We paid 13 or 14 euros per person but it was definitely worth it! Parking: it is a little difficult to find a parking spot right in front of the restaurant. Come with your bike of public transportation to avoid the annoying search for a parking spot. :)

German .. for english scroll down…read more Der erste Eindruck: japanisch schlichte Einrichtung. Preis: 130 Euro Qualität (0-10): 7 Service (0-10): 1 ****** english ***** My first impression when I entered the room: spartanic location. When in Japan - you´ll experience not many locations that look so empty. Really. But I´m not making comments on the location - I´m here to talk about the food and service. For people that are not familiar with the many possible options of the japanese raw fish dishes and options that are available - the card is overwhealming. What I found is that this seems to be the only japanese restaurant in or near Nuremberg offering the japanese Soup dish "Ramen". The food quality and amount of different Sushi is good. The Tuna Sashimi was really smooth - similar to what I experienced in good places in Japan. Ramen was really authentic. If you go for the Bento box and mix on what ever you want - you´ll land at € 20. Now the downside of the visit. As good as the food was - the service was a mess. The waiter was waiting .... and waiting.... and waiting - but for what. The room was not crowded. we asked several times for service - and it didn´t come. The long haired service guy seemed to be bored and was found drinking or playing with a bogey. Even if we asked - he didn´t show up - until we asked for the bill.... The room was cold and we needed to switch on the heating ourselves. This location was like Antarctica..... except the snow. KomeKome: my biggest wish is that you serve your guests like it is common in Japan when a guest shows up. Not with a non-service like that. Then you are entitled to get paid like it is common in Japan in better places. And then - but only then - I´ll come back. I was pursued to visit the KomeKome due to the positive reviews. In the end I was really, really disappointed. Not by the food. But the service was the worst I experienced since a long, long time. Long speech - short summary: good food - terrible service - because of the service: Probably never again. Number of people: 5 (Family) Food ordered: Sushi, Sashimi, Ramen, Tempura, Asahi Beer, Green Tea, Ice from Green Tea and Sesame Bill: € 130 Quality (0-10): 7 Service (0-10): 1 おいしい料理が、ひどいサービス

Well the inside was quite busy, but I found a seat in the middle of what I would call a communal table, which was fine by me. I was immediately handed a German menu, which is fine as I can somewhat make out the ramen choices. The problem came when the waitress arrived and began to speak German, which I am nowhere fluent in. I tried to explain that I do not speak German, but she became upset and ultimately walked away. I found out later buried in the middle of the table were English menus, oh well! Kind of odd as I was doing my best to point to what I wanted to order. I flagged another staff member down who informed me that my order had been placed. To my surprise the right items magically appeared after 15 minutes, so that was a sigh of relief. It looked good and smelled good, which was a positive start, but sadly the pork belly ramen and veggies was just not on point. The broth was a little underwhelming and pork belly was not too tasty. Do not get me wrong, it was decent, but not what I am used too. I will say the meal portions were quite large and the overall menu pricing was fair considering it is located in a touristy part of town. Sadly, later I found out our waitress who really could care less about assisting us spoke fluent English, go figure. Not really pegging a star for it, but you are in a business that should strive for customer satisfaction, oh well.
