Ohana is a cute spot in Würzburg good for lunch, especially in the summer when are you looking for something to cool down with nice outside seating in a courtyard.
Locals seem to come here for the drinks to chill outside and chat. The menu is Hawaiian-inspired with poke salad bowls, ramen, and more. You can find information on the website and in the menu if you are not familiar with the Hawaiian and Japanese terminology.
For those coming from Hawaii or very familiar with real Hawaiian food, please be ready for something different but still good and refreshing. For example, the poke bowls are not just seasoned raw fish and rice, but instead have more edamame, avocado, seaweed, etc. than the raw fish.
Ohana has the option of octopus poke which is unusual for the poke spots I've seen in Germany so far.
The waitress was very nice and friendly. Note that this is a sit down restaurant and not the usual fast take away for poke.
Overall, a good spot to try Hawaiian-inspired food for the first time or to satisfy a craving if it's been a while! read more
