KoKoNo is a very good place for Asian, I was nervous to see if Asian food in Germany would live up to the Asian food I've had in the past but this place certainly delivered. This place was the best Asian food we've had in Germany. The flavors are authentic and the portions are also fair. The service was also great as well,

Ten out of Ten, and we'll do it again!…read more We went to CoDung for lunch with my wife and two friends, planning to try their brunch. We showed up a day early, but that worked out in our favor. We shifted to sushi and nigiri instead. Every roll and piece came out fresh, well-prepared, and consistent. No weak items across the board. We also ordered the Wagyu gyoza, which stood out. Good texture, rich flavor, and cooked right. I ordered the Pho Surf and Turf XXL. The portion was solid, the broth had depth, and the mix of proteins made it worth ordering again. I left full and satisfied, which says a lot given how often pho can miss on balance. Our server, Han, made a difference. He stayed engaged without hovering, kept things moving, and had a professional, easygoing approach. Service like that changes how you experience a place. We didn't get brunch, but we will be back for it.

Ordered tomago sushi- which my 4 year old ate up without hesitation . We also ordered a combo roll- asparagus, avocado and cucumber in one- they were so kind to make this at the request of my 7 year old- who also loved this roll. Everything was fresh, well made and tasty. Thank you for making our vegetarian experience so yummy!

I had the running sushi deal here which is all you can eat from 18:00 to 22:30 every evening excluding on their break days. The price was a humble 16,90 € which is okay considering you can stay all evening. First thing to mention is they have huge selection of sushi flavors and types and different meals, more than I've seen at other running sushi restaurants. They had fried noodles, ribs, duck, and seafood such as oysters and shrimp. The quality of all the meals were very good! I tried almost one of everything and I was actually surprised of how good it all was. There is a complimentary miso soup as well but you've gotta ask for it to get it. Kyoto had a large amount of desert options, including watermelon, pineapple, fruit cocktail, chocolate and vanilla pudding, lychees, fried banana, chocolate coated banana slices and other items as well. The waiting staff was friendly and kind, didn't give off any mean vibes. Bathrooms were good and clean. The whole restaurant was clean. I especially liked how most meals were covered with a plastic cover on the running sushi to protect them against insects and "splash" sneezing or coughing. There is no accessible parking though from what I could tell! So I suggest coming with public transport. I am very surprised at this place! It is a good running sushi spot with enough seating for groups big and small. I am completely satisfied with Kyoto.

By far the best miso soup I've ever had (and that's saying a lot because miso soup has been my favorite since I was a child) absolutely delicious!! The fish quality is great!! What is better than really good sushi? "All you can eat" with really good sushi!!!…read more This is not your normal all you can eat place, where you just grab plates of sushi off the running sushi conveyor belt in front of you, while devouring the content as fast as you grab the next one. Instead, you get a huge plate full of different kind of sushi, and once you're finished you can ask for more. The next plates won't be as big and it's always the chef's choice, so you don't get to choose what kind of sushi you want (apart from vegetarian or vegan, you can always ask for those options), but it's a nice alternative to the other sushi places - and I like surprises! =) The price is really low, 10.90€ for all you can eat, including a starter of your choice. It is probably not the best sushi of all times, but it also not bad at all - considering the low price, the quality is really decent and you definitely won't go home hungry. Quite the opposite, I still feel sick because I really had too much!!! (So sick in a good way...kinda...) Bottom line: * nice little sushi place * all you can eat that will leave you breathless...because you just HAD to have one... more... plate!!! * great food for a nice price at a nice location!

But today it was a disaster, we had a table for four at 18:30 on a Saturday night. Sat down and found it was very cold in the restaurant. Oh well nothing that a quick drink won't solve, I ordered a gin tonic and my wife a cocktail. After a while the waitress returned to inform us it's very busy they are not serving mixed drinks????? The place only sits 22 people when it's full and there are only four other adults there, who knows. All four of us order starters and main courses. Three starters arrive and we are told the fourth is out?? Not to worry the food is great. Hardly get half way through my tasty starter and the main courses arrives. We put a brave face on it and enjoy our food on a very full little table. The table is cleared and it's proudly announced that we can now order a gin tonic, yippee we'll have three, thanks. After some time a man comes to the table and asked about how to make a gin tonic, it can happen, my friend goes with him to give a hand. Unfortunately he returns with only one, the gin has run out. As an alternative we order a beer and a glass of wine. One sip of wine later at 20:00 a waitress turns up not to ask about desserts but to tell us we should leave because people are waiting for our table???? So if you like good food but don't care about the cold, very limited choice of drinks and like to eat out on Saturday nights for no longer than 90 minutes this is the place to go. Insider tip take your own bottle of gin.
