Japan. An elegant Country with an amazing selection of food which is captured very nicely here. The decoration at this place is great! I find the addition of a cherry blossom in the middle of the restaurant a wonderful touch.
The waiting service is nice and open to questions! If type of sushi isn't on the menu, feel free to ask if you can get it made for you. That is what I did at Osaka and I got exactly what I requested.
The food here had an amazing texture. I ordered the "Sake Teriyaki" which is salmon with teriyaki sauce with a side of rice and vegetables. The salmon had a crispy layer above and was juicy and delicious all around. The rice was cooked just right to allow clumping and easily eaten with the chopsticks. The vegetables were also great, it accented the whole meal nicely, being crunchy and containing mainly soy beans, mushrooms and some broccoli. The meal was also served with Miso Soup as an appetiser, which was also good with just the right amount of tofu and greens.
The sushi was very fresh and the wasabi has a huge kick at this place so be careful how much you put on your sushi, or else you just might regret what you have done. There was enough wasabi and ginger served with our sushi.
This restaurant also has a running sushi bar built on an all-you-can-eat principle. You pay one price based on length of stay and have all the sushi and food you want at the running sushi bar. Running sushi at this restaurant offers more than just sushi, Multiple other food types are transported around such as small portions of noodles, chicken, beef, fried foods and multiple dessert selections.
For the price of approximately 45€ for two people with drinks, This place is both affordable and the food quality is high. I highly suggest giving this place a visit if you enjoy good Japanese food. The running sushi is a bit more expensive but all-you-can-eat is going to be the reasoning behind that at 20,90€ for the whole evening per person.
One side note is however, the running sushi and main restaurant area are divided into 2 sections. So if you are in a group, decide beforehand if you all want to go running with the sushi or go have à la carte. read more
