This is our main place to eat in Nuremberg. No visit is compete without us eating here. Best meal of our trip each time

Food was delicious. I lived in Korea for 3 years over time so I can always recognize good Korean food. Even though we are in Germany they didn't make the Korean food "German style" whatever that is suppose to mean.. the food tasted authentic. It was actually served with sides which is something some places in Germany and even America don't always do but Seoul Kitchen does and it was great. We traveled an hour to eat here and it was worth it. We even ordered the same order to go because I love Korean food and can't seem to find one closer that's serving authentic Korean food. Restaurant is small. Bathroom was clean. People had to wear masks until they were seated. Who woulda thunk it? Korean in Nuremberg? But not just Korean food, but GOOD Korean food at that. It's not the best I've had, but it pretty damn good. We had the sangyupsal, pork for you non-Korean folks... :) and it was good. The Kim Chee Chigae was good too. And the service - albeit two young men - was pretty good too. Very happy, and got my Korean fix in Nuremberg of all places! Location is nice enough, in a quiet apartment area just outside of the main church plaza - no I don't know the name of that place. Seoul Kitchen's cooking is authentic and the portions are fair for the price you pay. It was a bit rough at first since the first lady my wife and I talked to upon entering seemed upset that we didn't have a reservation (I'm not fluent in German and she wasn't fluent in English). She seated us at a table and we received menus which also had English descriptions of the food. I enjoy eating Korean food back in the U.S. and Seoul Kitchen's bi bim bap was the best bi bim bap I've had in a long time. My wife ordered pork bulgogi which she enjoyed. The mandu and appetizers are tasty as well. Service improved after the first lady who sat us at our table helped other people and we only really had to interact with the man (20-30s?) and another lady who brought out our food. Not overly appealing from the outside but much friendlier inside. They only have one vegetarian dish on the menu but were very open to preparing my Bibimbap without meat. Very nice food, especially the kimchi and side dishes were a delight. The egg on the Bibimbap was a little bit too cooked for my taste but otherwise really good Korean cuisine. Slightly on the expensive side. They only accept cards from 50€s so make sure you bring cash. read more

Excellent Bi Bim Bap and Beef Bulgogi. The gyoza and miso soup were also delicious. Overall very satisfied with both the quality and the prices. Definitely plan on returning. The place was full of Koreans so authenticity isn't in question. If you want to try real korean food, give the Seoul Kitchen a visit. read more

This was a good authentic Korean food place. I ordered kim chi casserole and bulgogi. Both were good tasting dishes. They also give you 6 side dishes, and they were also very good. I've asked for some refills on side dishes and got some for free. I am korean , so I know a good korean foos. Highly recommend this place. read more

Seoul kitchen is getting three stars, not because they necessarily deserve it, but because I have been in love with Korean food for the last year, and they seem to be the only place in Nürnberg that can save my husband from having to prepare Bibimbap for hours at home. That being said, I think they are overpriced. When I went there recently I ordered fried dumplings (Maultaschen) as an appetizer and Bibimbap as the main dish. While the dumplings were good and well-priced at €3.30, the Bibimbap came in a bowl not even half full and I left Seoul Kitchen hungry, despite the €12.50 price tag on the dish. This would have maybe been excusable if it had been a fantastic Bibimbap, but my husband's bibimbap is much better and he is not a chef or even Korean. Not only was it not the greatest, they also did not give me a lot of meat (maybe 20g or so). My mother, who also had the bibimbap, said hers was missing the meat entirely. The redeeming feature of Seoul kitchen is the free appetizer sampler which is very good. Will I be back? Yes, because I am hooked on Korean food. Should you give it a try? Only if you are not too hungry, and only if you don't mind spending a lot of money on not a lot of food. One last tip: Avoid the bibimbap and go for something like the Bulgogi beef instead. read more
