The staff was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made us feel taken care of from the moment we walked in. The food was absolutely delicious and came out quickly. Everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and well prepared, and the ramen was especially satisfying. You can tell they put real care into both the food and the overall dining experience. Service was smooth and efficient without ever feeling rushed, and everyone we interacted with was kind and professional. It was one of those meals where you leave already thinking about coming back. I would absolutely recommend Ramen Izakaya to anyone looking for great food, friendly service, and a comfortable place to enjoy a meal. I'll definitely be returning!

I ordered the ramen and, unfortunately, the broth just didn't have as much flavor as I was hoping for. It was fairly mild and tasted a little flat, so I found myself wishing there was more depth and seasoning. The pork was also not quite what I expected. The quality seemed a little lower than other ramen places I've tried, and the meat didn't have the tenderness or flavor I was looking for. There also weren't a ton of toppings included, so the bowl felt somewhat simple compared with other ramen spots. I also tried the meatballs, which were also pretty disappointing. The texture and overall quality weren't really to my taste, and unfortunately I came across a few small bits of bone while eating them. I know things like that can occasionally happen, but it definitely took away from the experience and made me a little hesitant to finish them. On the positive side, the food was prepared pretty quickly, which I appreciated.

Our server was nice and promptly attended our needs, food is great with reasonable prices and lots of selections from sushi, ramen and variety of Japanese shareable dishes. I read the menu, said he would have spinach and bok choy but literally there's just tomatoes, onions and lettuce leaves. , When we talk to the server at two different people to complain about it, they said they would ask the manager nobody ever came back to offer something else or a replacement because I had to drink some of the broth The sushi was decent, but I would prefer to dine at Kura Sushi, where the quality is superior. I ordered for an eel avocado cucumber roll with light rice. Unfortunately, they lack tamari sauce for those with wheat allergies and don't offer gluten-free noodle options. Despite the crowded restaurant, there were four servers wandering around, but we didn't even have the same server throughout our meal. We had four different people come to our table, which was quite confusing at times. I ordered a baked salmon roll to replace the soup It never arrived, and they still attempted to charge us at the end. Finally, we had to ask them to remove it from the menu. I would have loved this place if it had been more accommodating. The ambiance was charming, with a cozy booth and wooden decor throughout. The atmosphere was not too loud, which added to the comfort. However, I was disappointed that they didn't provide gluten-free noodle options. Honestly, I had high hopes for this restaurant, but it fell short of my expectations.

They have a cult type bathroom here.. if you go use the restroom, it's basically a bunch of maze…read moredoors and it feels like you're being initiated into something really cool and weird.. Anyways, aside from that, this place is great. Even the lowest all-you-can-eat tier gives you a ton of options, and everything is color coded so you don't accidentally order from the wrong section. The staff is really helpful and actually knows what they're talking about, the service was great, and everything tasted fresh. I definitely got my money's worth here.

Service food and vibe have plummeted. EVERYONE JUST WATCHES TV :-/…read moreLast two times I went here (after dining here often for the past 2 years) things have really taken a bad turn. Second to last time the server dude was so distracted watching tv that service was so slow ! Mind you, this was a lunch shift! There were only two other tables in the restaurant. Yet my server never took any of the dirty dishes off the table and just watched tv forcing me to flag him down alertly every time I wanted to order. The last time I went was awful, the server was fine, a little dead inside, but honestly not idc bc I don't been big fake smiles or anything lol but they did what they needed to do and they were fine. The issue is with the kitchen. we ordered eel sushi extra-extra crispy and the round full faced shorter sushi dude did not make it crispy at all. So when the server brought it and asked us if it was crispy enough we politely asked if we could have it a bit more crispy (as we have gotten it so many times here before without having to send anything back ever) this was the first time in 2 years I had to ask this request. I've never sent anything back before. Everything usually comes out perfect which is why we would come back so often. We watched as the server took it to him as he copped a massive attitude, gave us a super dirty look, and after the server walked away, he left the sushi sitting there for 10 minutes!!!! while he ignored it and watched TV, clearly pissed and talking crap about us like he was so annoyed by this simple request and seemed to take it personally. Super bizarre and hateful. There was nothing but hatred in his face . Finally he takes the sushi after standing there watching tv for 10 minutes and the server brings it back another 10 minutes later BURNT to a CHARCOAL CRISP. Ummm, weaponized incompetence much?? The eel had a strange substance on it that we obviously did not trust even if the eel wasn't charcoal at that point we felt unsafe ordering anymore sushi given the extreme hateful energy coming from the sushi dude and his friends who thought we don't understand Spanish but we do and they were talking foul shihh about us it was unreal. Why would we keep ordering sushi when now we are sure they're doing something gross to it out of spite. All that over a request for a crispier eel is seriously wild, sadistic, sociopathic and suggests a very negative work culture which produces untrustworthy staff. Obviously they feel comfortable being so rude and vindictive bc that's the culture at this resistant apparently? Service has just been ok w the exception of the dude the other day who just watched tv the whole time. It's the restaurants vibe and the cooks bad attitudes that ruins this. Kitchen is just untrustworthy and we will obviously not come back seems that is what they were trying to achieve. And I'm bummed bc I loooved this place so much. Everything was always so perfect and felt like a high standard was being implemented. Rip Neo :(

One crispy fried item, one fresh roll, and two bowls of Tonkotsu Ramen! Alaska Roll: An excellent way to kickstart the meal. Salmon slices placed on top were thick, the roll itself was generously stuffed, and we both loved the thinly sliced onions that came with this (absorbed the ponzu sauce-so good!) - a very refreshing roll indeed and really set the tone that we were going to have a high-quality meal from the start Karaage: Perfect amount of crunch, chicken was tender and juicy. The lemon on the side was a small touch that really added to this appetizer We both opted out of getting a seasoned egg with our ramen (not our vibe). But we each ordered a couple of toppings. My friend got spinach and black garlic oil. I got bamboo shoot and the garlic/onion crisps. I know the common complaint is that the added costs of toppings tend to add up quickly, but the portions provided were honestly very generous and I didn't feel gypped for paying an additional $1.1 per topping. The ramen itself: I forgot how GREAT the broth is. It's silky, rich, soothing and the overall flavor profile had so much depth. Had we not gotten a couple of other items off the menu, I would have inhaled my ramen so fast because it's THAT DELICIOUS. Thank you to our server Valeria, and the man who was assisting with service during the dinner rush 8/15 for making our dining experience a pleasant one! My only point of feedback is that the women's bathroom floor was a bit too sticky. Perhaps it was freshly mopped and my timing of going in right before leaving the restaurant just lined up that way. NBD in the grand scheme of things.
