The thin chewy ramen was really good. The broth brought me back to Japan again. Everyone there was super helpful and nice and attentive. The place was super clean and well maintained. The pork chashu was extra thick. (I like mine thin with more veggies ) but nonetheless ; it was excellent ramen.

Came here for late lunch. Not a bad place for ramen. Had the hiroshi tonkostu ramen for $18. Has good amount of flavor. Okay amount of food. Small place. Located inside the plaza. Only one lady working in the restaurant plus cooker. But friendly setvice

This restaurant never disappoints... the chicken Kara age... a must try. When it comes to ramen - The Hiroshi Tonkatsu is my favorite. Service you get is always with a smile and everyone very pleasant and always making sure all your needs are met. The ambience... check the pictures and perhaps try the place and judge for yourself.

Pan fried gyoza

Was in the mood for some ramen so we checked out Ramen Hiroshi in San Ramon. Similar to their Walnut Creek location in terms of the menu, but so much more seating here! Awesome on the space- larger indoor seating space and some outdoor as well. We were seated immediately, and we ordered the following appetizers- Chicken karaage- pretty good! Crispy and juicy. Pan fried gyoza- looked pretty neat, but the part that's crispy wasn't crispy. The gyoza part itself was mushier than we would have liked. I ended up eating most of them since the kids wasn't a fan unfortunately. We also each got a ramen. I've had their tonkotsu ramen and miso ramens at their other location so I tried their shio ramen this time. Not really a fan of the broth, but I do like the curly noodles a bit more compared to the thin noodles in the tonkotsu ramen. The stuff in the ramen was pretty good- seaweed, chashu, egg, etc. it was an alright bowl of ramen, but not something I would crave. For us 4, it was nearly $100 before tip. If we return, I'd try other appetizers and a different ramen.

We walked into Ramen Hiroshi for a quick bite while running errands. The chain has Walnut Creek and San Francisco locations so I was feeling optimistic- turns out the service was super quick and food turned out decent. For the ramen, I'd give it a 3/5 - the tonkotsu broth was fine. Somewhat Rich and flavorful enough...but for the amount of noodles, I do wish they gave more broth. I love firm noodles with a good bite and these were almost there. If I came again, I would ask for extra firm noodles. Halfway through my meal, the noodles got too soft that I left most of them which felt like a big disappointment and something I don't normally do. The chashu was fatty and tender- good stuff. I would pass on the fried squid legs. Overcooked, tough, and too bready. We also tried a bowl of their chicken shio broth which was actually very good. Overall, I would come back if I was craving ramen in the area, but I don't think it would rank as high as other ramen brands in the Bay Area.

I have passed by this spot on the second floor of city center and never tried it- I was missing out! We had their ramen, chicken katsu and and s single skewer of grilled chicken thigh (can't remember the exact name but this worked out for my toddler). Chicken was delicious and crispy! The ramen had plenty of broth for the noodles. The meat was tender. Miso soup was tue best I have had in a long time. For kids they give a cute plastic bowl and utensils. Servers were quick and checked in periodically. Will be back!

Quick dinner. It was a pleasant experience. Service was fast. tasty broth could have been hotter. Place was nice -- clean and organized. Our server was nice.

4 pieces for $9.

The food here was really meh. My friend had a ramen and I ordered the lunch special teishoku black cod set and we shared a wings as appetizer. My fish was not fresh and the miso soup was very salty. The chicken wings... 4 pieces for $9. Service was good though, the lady helping us was very friendly and attentive.

Let me start with what I did like: The food was pretty delicious. We ordered a shoyu ramen, a tonkotsu ramen, and the tonkatsu dinner set. aside from the shoyu broth being bland, both ramen were solid bowls of ramen. The chashu pork was not overly fatty and slightly seared. The best dish was imo the tonkatsu, which was very tender and tasty. We also had the gyoza, which I felt tasted similar to those we get from supermarkets. However, on a not so busy Monday night, we waited over 30 mins for our food to arrive at the table. When we asked the waitress, she explained it was because many customers all came in at the same time. Well, we also saw another table got their food before us even though they sat down and ordered after us. When we paid more attention we realized that only one waitress was serving the entire restaurant... no wonder our food was a bit on the lukewarm side. Maybe it's bad luck but I won't rush to come back here.

It takes 40 mins to serve a tonkatsu and it does not taste good. The meat is old and the outside is too dry. The rice is only 1/3 of the bowl. The ramen is too salty and the vegetable comes with very strong sauce. The blanched spinach has too much miso paste, too salty. Only the takoyaki tasted ok but other than that Definitely not worth the wait.

Great ramen place in the heart of beautiful citi center in San Ramon. We had the chicken miso ramen and yuzu soyu vegetarian ramen and it was delicious. The yuzu ramen had lot of pepper but it was nice and hot to the taste buds!!

came here on a saturday for a late lunch. the place was not busy so we're were promptly seated and served. staff was very attentive and even got us plastic plates, bowls and utensils for our toddlers! how thoughtful! they even had high chairs or booster chairs to choose from. i LOVED the raw edge tables in the center of the restaurant! the food was excellent! the takoyaki tasted well made and still had the little flakes moving on top. the tonkatsu ramen had radish? in it that made it a bit different. the yuzu ramen was also interesting since we've never seen that before. it was spicy so beware! refreshing! tip! there are 2 booths in the back from larger parties, you don't have to squish into the regular seating up front.

hiroshi ramen

Came here yesterday for lunch around 1pm, I got the regular hiroshi ramen ($18) and takoyaki ($10). Casual vibes Pros: - huge portion of yummy ramen noodles - I like the thin texture and they give you a LOT of noodles. - Delicious takoyaki!! Loved the little radish on top and sauce that they put on. Not too much batter, which I really appreciate. - Lots of available seating (at least during lunch) - Pretty quick service, the waitress was really efficient - Easy parking lot to utilize at Bishop Ranch - Really well cooked egg (easily my favorite part of ramen ahha) - decent tasting broth! - They let you take out ingredients if you don't like all of them Cons: - the cha siu was a little too fatty for me - While the takoyaki is really tasty, a little pricey for 6 small balls (feels like nigiri pricing lol) Overall, not bad! It was perfect for a colder day since we were in the area shopping.
